I've made a new wallpaper, and I surprised myself on this one. It just kinda took on a life of its own. It's for AntigoneUnbound's On Second Thought, a masterful retelling of New Moon Rising. I highly recomment this fic, along with anything else she's ever written, cause she's so damn awesome.

I am perhaps the most unoriginal person in the world. I kinda swiped this idea from someone else, but I made it my own I swear!!

I really liked the idea of making a Willow and Tara fanmix, and went so far as to design a cover. So I mosied over to the Songs That Remind You of Willow and Tara thread, took a few songs I liked, along with some from my own library, and voila: Extra Flamey. I mixed in a few of my favorite audio clips into a few of the songs, just to add a little spice.

I'm gonna be honest and say I haven't heard of too many on the playlist but I've had a listen through and really enjoyed it.

Coincidently I'd watched a video on you tube of Beaker from the Muppets doing Yellow by Coldplay and I couldn't get that out of my head when listening to this earlier. I'll post the link in the you tube thread at the kitten, it's worth checking out, it's very well put together.

That’s a really nice wallpaper you made. I love the cool/dark colors and the different textures. The Oz image scares me, yikes! But, it’s really well done and put together. Good job on that one.

You made a very lovely album cover, you chose the perfect pictures and I just love how it looks. It’s a cool idea to make a Willow and Tara fanmix. I’m downloading the songs right now, but it’s really late here and I should be going to sleep so I won’t be able to listen to it when it’s finished to offer feedback. I love them all! They all look gorgeous. I don't think I can even pick a favorite. Although, I have to admit, I do have a soft spot for the two Tara and Dawn ones. I just love those two together, they are a cute sisterly pair. You know, I have always wanted to make my own icons and I have made a few crappy ones, but I just can't get them to look as pretty as yours with the wonderful coloring and effects. Nice job on these! I did enjoy the music, by the way. =)

That was great. A good choice of songs setting the mood just right and a smart use of voice clips. 'I can't take my eyes off you' being the definite cherry on top there.
And a wonderful cover to round it all off too, what more could one ask for?


As for the avatars, well they're smashing too. Highlights for me are quiver, on top, elegant, quiet strength and thumb war.
