Willow and Tara. JLU/Bruce Timm Style

Postby WebWarlock » Sat Jan 28, 2006 2:43 pm

Well. This is the LAST placst I expected to post a new thread, but here it goes.

I have been playing around with City of Heroesa bit lately. It's cool and you can build all sorts of really cool hereos.

Well I tried my hand at our girls and here are the results.

Please leave some feedback, especially if you have ideas on how to improve what I have here. I am NOT an artist, and I don't have an eye for this. I do have computer skills though, so that makes up in a pinch I guess.

Anyway here they are!

Image

I decided to go with them as they would appear now (so what 25 or so). Plus there are not a lot of "normal" clothes options. I wanted a long skirt for Tara, but no option for that.

I can play around with the magic effect, but I liked this one.

Any hints, tips, recomendations would be great!!!
Even if you hate it, at least tell me why! ;)

Thanks.

Tara has a larger rack than I remember from the series and there is lots of arching your back obviously called for in the City of Heroes, isn't there?
I love both of them to bits, BTW.

Not much I can do about the arching of the back.

I could "tone down" her assets a bit I suppose, but I am sure that would result in MORE complaints! ;)

But I am glad that someone likes these, it was a lot of fun. I might have some others laying around, but I fear a few of them go lost in my last hard drive crash.

Thanks all!

One thing is for certain. I have never claimed to be an artist. Most of time my interaction on this sub-board is to go "holy shit! I wish I could do that!"

But these were fun. I need to reinstall the software, City of Heroes Character Designer, and I touched them up with Photoshop. Gotta love Photoshop.

I hadn't even considered doing these till I was making some for my son. I made him a "Lavagirl" (from the movie) and went "holy shit (not out loud mind you) that look like Willow!" I never really got either one perfect though.

Thanks all.

Willow and Tara. JLU/Bruce Timm Style

Postby WebWarlock » Wed May 14, 2008 12:56 pm

Willow and Tara as super heroes. I love the concept, so here is some more.

For a fictional third season of Justice League Unlimited where the the league gets two new witches.

Image

I figure Bruce Timm would approve seeing how he was faithful to Maggie Sawyer and Toby Raines' relationship in a kids cartoon (Toby was by her partner's bedside when she was hurt in the Superman Animated Series) and he created Renne Montoya, future (past?) girlfriend of the new Batwoman.

Done with the magic of Photoshop, a scanner and Hero Factory!

Willow's outfit is based on the Wilderness comic. Tara's is based on the City of Heroes version above.

I am so glad you liked it.

I showed it to my son today and he laughed and said "your witches look cool!"

Nice! Tara has bigger boobs in the 3D version. You can adjust the boob size in the game ?
