That’s Willow’s well-traveled puppy dog. In “The Body,” you see him on the bed with Willow after Anya’s breakdown. He pops up in quite a few other shows, too: Willow was hugging him in “New Moon Rising” when she told Buffy she was gay; he was on the bed during the “Tough Love” argument; and he was lying next to Tara’s head when Willow made love to her in “OMWF.” For a stuffed animal, he definitely gets around.

Awww... That is so adorable. Miss Kitty wanting a tummy rub. It's a rule in my house, that whenever one of my cat's or dog's is laying like that, you HAVE to rub their tummy. Or you'll be in the dog house for the rest of the day.

Much thanks to everyone for the wonderful comments. Feedback is one of the things I really love about the Pens. If you did a cartoon in a regular publication, you might never hear if anyone thought it was cute or funny and that's kind of sad, so thanks again - it always means a lot.

Not at all. I normally write the idea and sketch it out. Then I do a final drawing and scan it into Photoshop where I ink it, add the text, and sometimes add special effects. For example, the carpet Miss Kitty is lying on in the last toon was created with a filter in Photoshop. Drawing a large texture like that by hand would take too long, so sometimes I let the computer help out.
