A Day in the Life of Miss Kitty

It's nice to see some cartoons on the board - I'm going to add one more.



In my spare time, when I'm not playing with my W/T Sims game (hehe), I occasionally do some cartooning. I recently had some extra time on my hands, so I began playing around with the idea for a cartoon that looks at the world through the eyes of Miss Kitty.



The way I see it, Miss Kitty lives on the Hellmouth just like everyone else, but her little feline mind can't quite grasp all the scary, and not so scary, events that occur in her life. When things happen on the Hellmouth or in Willow and Tara's relationship, Miss Kitty sees them through the eyes of a cat.



I've posted one panel below. Feedback is very welcome and will help me decide if I should draw up any more of my ideas.

Thanks for the kind words. The main reason I’ve done only the Xmas one since the girls split was that the girls really need to be together for the toon to work. But things are looking up in that department, so it won’t be long.

I have to say that, as a lover of all things cartoon and comic, your stuff rocks. I printed all of them out and put them in a notebook with my BtVS trading cards. (Yes, I'm a nerd, I won't deny it).



Anyway, now I have a new reason to look forward to the May eps ... (1) New shows and (2) New cartoons!

I love MKF stuff and this ruled. I really liked the idea of W/T practicing spells on an unsuspecting feline! Awesome. I also liked the last one as well, we're all waiting for that day!

I loved the 9 lives one. Are you intending to make some with more than one frame? Perhaps to use the more curious nature of cats and the little mischief they can get into.

ROTFLMAO ! Gotta love those A Day in the Life-thingies (see Xena-ep). Scout, this stuff is priceless ! Missy Kitty is so incredibly cute, just like her mistresses. Absolutely loved the wink at American Pie (yeah, I also watched those movies, just because Aly was in 'm) Do I want more ? In bestest Buffy-voice "Yes, pleaze..."

Scout these cartoons are great. Have you considered setting them up so that you can just click a "next" button to page through them all instead of having to go back to the links.

Maj – I love multi-panel strips, but I haven’t thought of doing that with MK yet. I have a hard enough time thinking up the one panel toon! Might be something worth considering though if the toon continues.



Verdant – When this thread was on the old board, I posted all these cartoons over a period of about five months, so the thread was rather large and the links were distributed randomly throughout the thread. When Xita moved this thread to the new board, the links got grouped together like you see here. If it looks like the toon will be around beyond May, maybe I’ll go back and put in a ‘next’ link. Thanks for the suggestion!

I have to say they never fail to make me smile if not lol every single time I look at these, especially no 6. Evil MKF, so perfect. I bet she killed that muppet for Willow to wear too.

ok, so i've been checking this site out for a while, pretty new to the whole w/t relationship, but caught up fast. Point: Nothing yet has got me to post a reply, even with the whole Tara death debate raging...so, i was happily lurking in the background, BUT that first cartoon actually made me laugh out loud to my computer screen..not something easily accomplished. the cartoon was classic though. just the whole pitting the super serious "hear that baby, you're my always" to the cat sitting in the destroyed dorm room jazzed at the prospect of applesauce...very funny, good show.
