"Hush," Willow shouted. Anya and Xander both jumped. "I'm trying to hear what they are saying."
"They are talking about how you and Tara never kissed," Derek said. "We heard them shout it."
"Well I wanna know exactly what they are saying," Willow said.
"You are really into Tara aren't you?" Derek asked.
"You are really into Faith aren't you?" Willow asked back.
"Yeah I am. She is amazing," Derek smiled.
"Faith?" Xander said. "We are talking about Faith back there talking to Tara Faith right?"
"Yeah," Derek said.
"She is amazing?" Xander eyes widen. "Since when?"
"Xander shut up," Willow said. "I like Tara, alot, but I don't want to be another girl to her."
"Your not," Xander said. "How many times do I have to tell you?"
"I don't know," Willow said. "Maybe a couple more?"
"Maybe a couple more what?" Faith asked coming back up to the group with Tara behind her.
"Nothing," Willow said. "Where are we going to eat?"
"There is this little place," Xander said. "Come on."
"No pizza," Anya said.
"They have a bunch of different things at this place," Xander smiled and grabbed her hand.
"Are you okay?" Willow asked Tara as they all walked.
"Yeah I'm okay," Tara said staring at the ground.
"You don't seem it," Willow said. She was starting to get worried about what Tara and Faith had talked about.
Tara looked up at Willow and smiled. "Just alot going on in my mind, that's all."
"Want to talk about it?" Willow said.
"Yeah," Tara said. "But not now. Later," she grabbed Willow's hand. "Now we get food and listen to our weird friends." she smiled.

"I love this place," Anya said as everyone sat in a booth.
"Me too," Xander said. He leaned into Derek. "Cheap and nice looking." Derek laughed.
"So why did we come here?" Faith asked.
"Hm well me and Anya, you and Derek, and Willow and Tara."
"Triple date," Anya smiled.
"Guys," Tara glared at everyone.
"I've never been on one," Willow smiled. "Sounds fun."
"But..." Tara looked at her.
"But what?" Willow smirked. "Don't wanna be on a date with me?"
Tara leaned back in the booth and just stared at Willow.
"What?" Willow said.
"Nothing," she looked at Xander. "Are you paying for all of us."
"Yup," Xander said.
"Really?" Tara said. "I was kinda joking when I said that."
"No I really am. MY aunt and uncle just now sent me money for my birthday that was 2 months ago," Xander said. "I didn't know what to spend the money on..."
"Me," Anya smiled.
"But than all of us hung today and I miss hanging with everyone so I thought why not make it special."
"Aw," Willow said. "Sweet."
"So everyone can order what they want," Xander said.
An hour later.
"This food is really good," Derek said.
"Isn't it," Willow said. She looked over at Tara. "You have barely ate."
"Huh?" Tara looked at Willow than her plate. "Oh yeah. Guess I'm not that hungry."
"What is going on?"Willow asked.
Tara looked over at Faith. "Nothing, I'm gonna go guys. I don't feel very good." Tara got up and walked out of the cafe.
Willow sat there and watched her walk away. "What is going on?" she looked at Faith.
"I'm not the one you should be asking," Faith said.
Willow stared at her for a couple seconds than got up and ran after Tara.
She found her 2 blocks away. "Tara, Tara."
Tara turned around. "What are you doing?"
Willow caught up to Tara. "Trying to figure out....how the hell...you walked so fast..." Willow said in between breaths.
"Sorry I walk fast when I'm thinking."
"What are you thinking about?"
"Alot," Tara said.
"Will you stop saying that and just say what the things are," Willow said.
"A date," Tara said.
"What?"
"You joked about me not wanting to be on a date with you."
"Um yeah," Willow said.
"You confuse me. One minute you say I scare you, but than the next minute you flirt with me or something. You say you don't want to give me the satisfaction of getting you cause I only want you cause I can't have you, but the thing is I can have you if you let me and I won't hurt you. Your hurting me. We are together alot. We flirt and everything. I want to be with you but I'm nothing more than a friend to you."
"What?" Willow said.
"Faith was in school today, she told me. She was getting something from a teacher or something. I don't know, but she heard what you said to Sophie about me being your friend and nothing more or nothing less."
"Tara."
"No forget it. You sit here and say I'm gonna hurt you, but your hurting me. You are playing with me. I get it I'm nothing more than a friend, but I can't even be that." Tara turned to walk away.
"Tara no please," Willow grabbed Tara's arm. "You can't just walk away."
Tara turned around. "Give me a reason not to."
Willow grabbed Tara's face between her hands and pulled her too her. Shivers ran up both their bodies as their lips touched.

finally... Tara is correct that Willow has been really inconsistant about what her relationship to Tara is...
. But I wouldn't be surprised if you had this planned for months
