Hey, Diane! It's been way too long. How've you guys been? I've been thinking about this and wondered when it was finally going to be available. Is this the only way to get it?

This is so cool. It's finally here. I'm so excited I can't stand it. Can't wait to get it.

Take care,
Wimpy

Hey, Thanks everyone!

For all you overseas Kittens (from my perspective, anyway), here's some other links:

amazon.com
amazon.de
amazon.fr
amazon.uk
SCP Books
Lambda Rising Bookstore (Washington, DC)

I know Amazon works best for many folks, but please try to support GLBT-owned bookstores if you can. Also, if anyone knows of any that I missed, please feel free to post it here. I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks again, Kittens.

Just adding in my congratulations as well. I've been really excited to read this since I saw mention of its publishing earlier this year. Best to you and thanks for the websites! Off to order...

Hey Kittens!

If anyone is interested in purchasing a signed copy of On Dangerous Ground, click here for information on my website, dlline.net.

If you've already purchased the book and still want to turn it into a signed copy, just send it to me with a return shipping label, I'll sign it (yes, Snickers too!), and get it back to you the same day. If you are going to be in any of the following places on any of the following days, come by and see me. Feel free to bring a copy of the book purchased elsewhere. It's all good!

Barnes & Noble, Harrisonburg, Virginia: Friday, August 21 from 7-9pm.
Lambda Rising, Washington, DC, Wednesday, September 16 at 6:30pm.
Common Language Books, Ann Arbor, Michigan: Friday, October 16 at 7pm.
(For all you Ohio Kittens, find me a place to read, and I'll get there. I'm still looking.)

Thank you all for everything you did for me. You read, you listened (well, some of you did :P), you picked, you told me that you liked it, and now it's a novel. Kinda surreal, ya know?

Thanks again,
Diane

Done. I'll be standing by the mailbox waiting for my signed copy.

(no pressure but it's been over 100 every day for like a month and a half).

My week: Ordered Wednesday, received Friday, read Friday, re-read Saturday, demanded sequel Sunday, realized had essay due Monday.

Basically ordering this book has disrupted life as I know it. Concentration and education? An old trend. Now? Count down to a sequel! There is going to be a sequel, right? On Dangerous Ground had been so mind blowing, I couldn't read it fast enough and trust me I am pretty darn fast. So congratulations on such an epic and I hope you continue on. You defiantly have my support (emotionally and financially)!

p.s any chance of comming to the North West?

Sorry if I disrupted your life, but thanks for the comments. If you're seriously interested in the sequel, please write to Bold Strokes Books and tell them so. The more support I can get for the sequel, the better.

Thanks again.

I will! It'll be my mission. I feel like James Bond, or The Bride. Either why you can count on a letter from me. And while I am writing, Mission Impossible Theme will be playing loudly in the foreground.

Oh I totally forgot about that movie! Since It'll be long and well thought out letter, I'll just make a playlist.

-Arguments-Robots In Disguise
-Man for all season-Robbie Williams
-Duel-Bond
-The Spy Who Loved Me-Carly Simon
-Police State-Messy
-TKO- Le Tigre

those just came to mind, but seriously a letter is well on it's way to being sent.

Sadly, the Chapters near me have not gotten around to stocking "On Dangerous Ground", which means I haven't been able to get my copy yet.

That's OK, though. I don't yet have the money to spare to order it in.

Hey, just bumping the thread to ask a question. I happened to do some surfing on the Chapters website over the weekend, and I happened to noitce a story called Head Trip by you. Is this an adaptation of "The Rosenberg Paradox"?

No, I'm sorry to say that it is not. Head Trip is a new story that was picked up for publication before it made it to the KB. If you read the story, Shelby Hutchinson was originally Willow Rosenberg. Unfortunately, "The Rosenberg Paradox" has been rejected by my publisher, so as of right now, it has no new home. I'm not sure what will happen, but I'll probably try to rewrite it and submit it to a different publisher. Life is complicated right now, so that's the best answer I can give you.

Thanks for bumping the thread. Head Trip will be released on November 15. I'll post more details as I receive them.

Diane

Yes, you can!

Head Trip is available for pre-order at Bold Strokes Books and amazon.com.

As soon as I get my website updated, signed copies will be available there, too.

Dude! dlline! Hi!

Yes, this is still here. A year ago I wrote up some recommendations, and included "What Would Willow and Tara Do?". Because seriously. It's a must read.

You know, it's funny. I was writing some feedback responses the other day, and I was writing to Deb with the line "I think not noticing that you like Faith would be like not noticing that dlline likes hot chicks with guns." And I sat and looked at it, and realized that I don't know if anyone around otherthan Deb would understand what the hell I was talking about. Which is too bad, because the whole dressing Tara like Sarah Conner was just perfect and yummy.
