Summary: 14 year old Willow Rosenberg is in junior high, she developes a crush for the new student on the bus 17 year Tara Maclay sophmore.

CHAPTER FIVE
The next morning Buffy, Willow Xander and leslie are already on the bus, heading in the direction of Tara's. As the bus came to a stop Willow see's Tara running out of the house. As she run up the steps on the bus she spots Willow and smiles, as she pass she slips a note into Willow's hand and walks back to the back of the bus and sits down, Willow turns around and looks at Tara, Who in turns smiles and winks at her. Leslie sees this
"Hey what's did you just put in your pocket?"Leslie asked.
"Nothing why?" asked Willow.
"Uh huh she handed you something," Leslie said.
"Oh you mean this," Willow said, reaching in her pocket for the paper she had in there before putting what Tara gave her in there.
"She gave you here test paper fold up?" Leslie asked.
"Yeah it's easier this way," Willow said, knowing she was lying to her friend.
As the bus pulls into the schools unloading zone, they all get off the bus. As Tara hits the sidewalk she walks over to Willow, touches her arm.
Willow turns around and smiles at here "hey Tara,"
"Hey can we talk for a minute?" Tara asked.
"Yeah sure, what's up?" Willow asked.
"Uh in private," Tara said.
"Ok.. Guys I'll be right back," Willow said, following Tara around the building. "What's up,"
"Nothing I just wanted to give you this in private," Tara said, pulling out a silky red rose.
"Oh Tara its beautiful," Willow said, taking the rose.
"Its the least I can do since I can't kiss you or anything, and besides were keeping it on the DL,"Tara said, smiling at her.
"Yeah I know, but I kinda dont wont to keep us a secert," Willow said.
"What do you mean Willow?" Tara asked.
"What I'm saying is I want to tell my friends," Willow said.
"Yeah me too, but lets wait till you turn 15," Tara said, caressing her arm.
"Yeah I kinda was thinking the same thing," Willow said, looking down at Tara's hand caressing her arm.
"Well I guess I'll see you in computer class since the bell is about to ring," Tara said.
"Yeah I'll see you there," Willow said, walking back the other direction as the bell rang.
As Willow heads to the sicence lab, takening her seat beside Buffy. She takes out the note Tara gave her, as she unfolds it placing it inside her note book so she could read it a little later.
"Hey where did you get that rose from?" Buffy asked, when she saw the rose in her bag.
"Oh,uh Tara gave it to me this morning," Willow said.
"Wait a minute your dating Tara now?" Buffy asked.
"Not excatly, were talking is all," Willow said.
"Well it looks to me like she is crushing on you," Buffy said.
"It's not like that Buff," Willow said.
"If you say so Willow," Buffy said.
