Oh, how exciting! But where could this reality's Willow be? (Hmmm...two Willow's wouldn't really be a bad thing. ;-) ) I can't wait to see how this works out.

Fourth dibs?.... :D

What a cute little baby-chapter. :D I wish we could get one of these everyday. :D

Woo! Okay, so Willow has been transported into Tara's world... but now I have to wonder about the Willow that's already in Tara's world... this kinda complicates things. And Willow's induction (at least I'm assuming..) into gay lovin' sure started off with a bang. :lol I wonder how Tara's going to take the news that this Willow isn't her Willow...and what if Willow falls in love with Tara...? what then? is she going to have to go back to her own world all lonely and sexually disgruntled? Oooo maybe she'll find her own Tara in her reality. :D

Nice little chapter, Sally. I find myself wondering the same thing as Highland. Are we going to be dealing with two separate Willow's? Or is this a case of one Willow spread out across all realities and alternate universes. That will be interesting to see.

Yay!!!

See, now *that* is how a cliffhanger is *supposed* to be! Lots of questions, mild confusion, exciting intrigue and a surprise kiss, full on the lips. *sigh*,

"Oh, right, sorry," said the blonde. She turned to Willow with a grin and kissed her full on the mouth."

heh heh. heh :wtkiss

Willow's headaches = dimension travel (almost certainly) *or* are a sign that this dimension stuff is screwing w/ Willow's peripheral vision *or* that this wrinkle in time/space/dimensions is harmful and will somehow hurt our sweet Willow. Oh NO! Save Willow.

Willow in this reality is straight, or maybe questioning (but who knows, *you* certainly haven't told us yet - but I bet yer gunna... eventually). Boy is that Tara kiss gunna be a surprise (and it is a nice one. K ?)

and also

I love it I love it I love it!

The premise is certainly intriguing, as everyone has commented, but my favorite part of the chapter was the stuff with Buffy trying to subtlely clean up all of the dishes she had stashed around the house. Very funny.

While most of us on this board would probably be thrilled by someone who looks like Tara coming up to us and kissing us out of nowhere, I'm guessing your Willow may not feel the same. I can't wait to see her reaction in chapter 3.

thrilled would be an understatement!

I love this story already, I usually start reading fics when they have got going (or finished) so this will be delicious agony as it progresses

Sally
Wow! I'm so pleased to see a new story from you. This looks like it will be a lot of fun. Willow switching through different dimensions - perhaps more than one alternate, from your comments? So many questions: will there be other Willows in the other dimensions; which is the 'real' one; how different will they be; is she imagining it or is she really dimension hopping, etc........

While I was reading through the previous comments, and thinking what to say in my fb, I realised (once again) that while I may recognize good writing I don't necessarily discern the things that make it so. I enjoy (and learn from) reading fb from kittens such as Antigone Unbound and Watson, and others of that ilk, but my appreciation lies more in working out the puzzles presented or in the characterization or relationships in a story. F'rinstance, this story could potentially explore the impact on Willow's behaviour in response to the different expectations of her character in the different dimensions, which could be fascinating. Or you could be going to do any of a number of possibilities.

You've set the scene, planted a number of intriguing plot seeds, and left us hanging out for more. Of the many questions I'm happily anticipating you settling, two stand out: is the blonde Tara; does she expect Willow to wear the same skirt two days running; and btw if this is Tara and she's as confident as this Tara seems to be, there's no way I'd expect her to kiss Willow as an afterthought.... ok make that three questions. Ok, so the thing with the skirt may be no more than a way to establish that there's an ongoing Willow in this dimension. They could have done an all night research session - since there's a Magic Box and not a Middle Earth, I'm assuming there's demons in this dimension - and so still be wearing yesterday's clothes.

Yep, I'm hooked too.

Ooh. Great chaplet Ms. McFine! While the writing doesn't seem rushed in the least, you've moved the story forward enormously with a minimum of prose. And you've left us Kittens with much to ponder. There is, of course, the possibility of the two-Willow world. There's also the possibility that Magic-Box World Willow got transported simultaneously to Magic Earth World. Or possibly to yet another world, with still another Willow popping back into Magic Earth World. It could be an interdimensional Willow farce!

Even more worth pondering is Willow's reaction to being kissed by she-who-I-assume-is-Tara. Shock? Bewilderment? Delight? Panic? Terror? Outrage? Intrigue? Willow-ramble? Clinical detachment? (Nah.) Some combination of the above?

Looking forward to more,

Blue

As one, they turn to the soda machine. It flies back into the door like a cannonball. Willow looks at it, at Tara. She doesn't let go of her hand.

Hehe. That was a great update! It was short but efficient. I like how the peripheral vision led to this mix up. The way you wrote it made sense, well as much sense as it could make talking about dimensions that bleed into each other like this. Hehe. Best part though, in my opinion, was the second to last line
"Oh, right, sorry," said the blonde. She turned to Willow with a grin and kissed her full on the mouth.

:lol It'd be quite the shock to walk into! I definitely wouldn't be complaining though, not at all! I love it!!! More more more please!

Either you have written it so vividly or I've seen it in films / tv, most probably a mixture of the two -- the scenes where Willow sees 2 plates or the car speeding straight towards the pedestrian are so realistic, I can see them so clearly. Must be so disorientating for her, to suddenly find that a shop she knew so well had changed. And being kissed by a complete stranger, however hot, is sure to be a shock to the system.

Well well, she's found herself hopping between dimensions, and this one that she finds herself in seems to be canon (though, I'll wait for you to reveal if that is the case). Very intriguing premise that leads to many questions in my mind. Where is Willow 2? Are there more dimensions? Who is the blonde? How will she deal with the sudden onset of gayness? Will she want to go home? How can I reduce the heat produced by my macbook pro? Do you want more collon? All sorts of questions ... I'll patiently wait for you to slowly unwrap.

Good update. Short & sweet.

When Willow started seeing things, I wondered if these were things from the other dimension. Turns ou they were :)

I'm also curious as to Willow will react to the kiss and how Tara will react to realising she's got the wrong Willow. Finally how are the 2 Willow's going to resolve this? With a game of RPS?

So what it just the bump on the noggin that made Willow jump dimensions or was it something else?

I like how you've established this, uh, transdimensional transition. It is clear to us that things are wonky with Willow and something is going on, without getting bogged down and drawing out that process.

Well, this is fun! As others have pointed out, there are many different directions that this story could go at this point. Rather than speculate, I eagerly look forward to where you take us.

Sally,

I thought of your delightful story during pink Saturday. As I was walking down the street one of the bars/nightclubs had replaced one side of their sign with the club's old name – a legendary lesbian watering hole. The Magic Box/Middle Earth signage came to mind.

JustSkipIt

Hey Debra! I'm glad to hear you say that you think it's a good length. I guess not every chapter has to be long and expository, especially when building suspense. I actually first thought of this story when I was having some vision problems of my own - I was crossing a street and thought a car was coming at me, but there was no car. Mine was due to a touch of insomnia rather than a whack on the head, though.

And then to be sucked into this other dimension (canon or other AU)?

TBD! ;)

I had assumed that the Willow in the "into" dimension would be dead/missing, whatever...

Verrrrrrrrry interesting. I guess it's not a spoiler for me to say that isn't the case, since as you have observed, the blonde greets Willow with a kiss and some comments about her outfit, so this dimension's Willow is alive, well, and present (at least until recently). But that would be an interesting premise for a story - I've read a lot of "Tara's dead but returns" or in the case of Paths, Willow going to a dimension where Tara's alive, but not many the other way around. An interesting idea, indeed. Maybe challenge fodder?

I'll be facinated (well duh, of course I'm facinated) to see how the assumed 1-Tara, 2-Willow situation works out.

We shall see. :D :devil

Also, good comment about whether or not Willow is gay. We'll find out more about that as the chapters progress. Thanks for reading, Debra, and for your insightful comments and speculation! :)

[hr]

highlandlass25

Where could this reality's Willow be, indeed? Two Willows - food for thought. Heh. I'm glad you're reading, thank you!

[hr]

notl33t

Hee hee! I hope it's Tara too. Glad you think it's a good start! More will be forthcoming soon. (That's a participle or a gerund, but I never hear it as a verb, as in 'more will forthecome soon.')

[hr]

Emms

Awww, fourth dibs, so cute! Glad you liked the baby chapter, or "chapterette," as I sometimes call such chapters.

Truly, the Willow already in Tara's world complicates things. Indeed. Yeah, don't you wish that instead of toaster ovens, they gave out hot gay kisses when new lesbians get inducted? That's all I ever wanted anyway was a hot gay kiss with a hot gay woman - instead, I got into activism and politics. Sublimate much? But anyway, back to your feedback...

There are many possibilities, and you outline several good ones! I think you should write one of these dimensional thingys, Emmy - after you finish You Make Me Smile, of course, because otherwise I will have to kidnap you all Stephen King Misery-style and chain you up and make you write.

Um, heh. Just kidding. ;) Thanks for reading!

[hr]

SithLordWiccan

Thanks, Sith! All answers to questions will be revealed - slowly. Kind of like ordering coffee in the Rosenberg Café - 'will that be with one Willow, or two?' Heh. Thanks for reading!

[hr]

db

db, so glad you liked the cliffhanger! Yes indeed, when writing this early chapter with all the confusion, cliffhangers seemed the only way to go. And surprise kisses, heh! (Of course, that has never happened to me, but anyway...)

Save Willow! Just like Save Ferris! Well, maybe different from Save Ferris. And yeah, we'll find out if Willow is straight, questioning, or gay. We'll see if the surprise kiss was a good thing or a bad thing very shortly.

Thank you for your enthusiastic feedback! :D

[hr]

Thianne

Hey Vale, I imagine she's pretty bewildered right now. What would any of us do if some unknown woman, no matter how attractive, came right up to us and kissed us? I guess we'll find out. Thank you very much for reading!

And hugs are welcome, the chat thread is not a bad influence. ;)

[hr]

caz

Hi Caz! Glad you liked the second part! Yeah, poor Willow indeed. Confusion - check. Next one is coming soon. :D

[hr]

Grayson

Grayson, thanks for commenting on the dishes and Buffy - that was making me laugh as I wrote it. Haven't we all felt guilty about something and then interpreted someone's mention of the thing as an accusation? Heh. Plates under the couch is pretty gross, anyway, there's a lot of dust under there and depending on what she had been eating off of it, it could be grosser yet.

Yeah, we'll find out what Willow thinks about her surprise smooch very soon. And I dunno - I think any smooch from a bona fide stranger, even a hot stranger, would be a little alarming to most people, but maybe I'm just out of touch. Thanks for reading! :D

[hr]

Knock yourself out

Thanks for your feedback and comments! I promise to update DD regularly, or at least not to leave long long gaps in between chapters. My intention is to update every two weeks (except for the first three chapters, which will be weekly) although it might slip to 3 or 4 at the end depending on how the writing goes. Anyway, thanks for taking the chance! :)

[hr]

spells42

Hey Anne! Yep, hopefully this story will be fun as well as a little upsetting for Willow, at least at first. There are lots of good questions and ideas about how many dimensions, etc. All will be revealed soon. I'm very pleasantly surprised about how people are thinking about the possibilities, actually - I had planned the story's plot in advance and it's hammered out, but people are really having great and creative ideas about what could happen.

I also am the type of reader who likes to puzzle out what the mysteries are in a story, and the relationships etc. When reading, I really have to think about the other parts of writing, the mechanics, if you will - to figure out the literary things that make writing good (in my opinion). And you're right - there are many possibilities for this story - it could be behavior, or plot/action, etc. I hope it will end up being a bit of both.

Your thoughts and questions about this chapter are intriguing. I would like to subscribe to your newsletter. ;) I'll start to answer them soon.

[hr]

simplyblue

Hi Blue! I'm so glad that you think it doesn't seem rushed, and that that plot is moving along - when outlining I wondered if it was too fast, but then figured there was no reason to beat around the bush, as it were. We wants to get to the actionnnn, preciousssss. Indeed, there are many possibilities - infinite possibilities! An interdimensional Willow farce! Ooh.

Okay, I don't want to give any spoilers, but I guess I will say that of the possibilities of Willow's reaction to being kissed, clinical detachment is not the reaction she will have. More than that, I will not say, but I will instead update on Tuesday. :D Thank you for reading!

[hr]

dorksrcool

Thanks, Amy! I'm glad you're reading and I appreciate your nice comments. :) Thanks!

[hr]

mole

Hey Michelle, what has happened indeed? I'm glad to know you're still intrigued. Yes, we need to find out what Willow thought about the smoochies. We shall see shortly, and until them I will say thank you for reading!

[hr]

Guppy

Hey Guppy - that made me laugh, as much sense as it could make talking about dimensional bleeds. Heh. And yes, it would be quite the shock walking into a place and getting kissed by a stranger - even an attractive blonde stranger. :) Glad you're enjoying the story - more soon. Thanks for reading!

[hr]

viximon

I love your enthusiastic feedback! Yeah, Willow is in for a heck of a ride, I think. The mystery is indeed on - another chapter will be coming soon! :D Thank you for reading!

[hr]

DaddyCatALSO

Glad to hear that you think it's interesting, and that you had guessed this was what was going to happen! :)

[hr]

watty

Hmm, watty, if you can vividly see a scenario where Willow sees plates or a car speeding straight towards her, another possibility besides my writing or TV is that you're having dimensional dementia of your own, and you're getting glimpses into a world where Dimension Dementia is on TV or in a movie - and you're seeing the screen. But maybe that's farfetched. :lol

Good questions, watty - is it the canon dimension? We'll find out. Where is Willow 2? Who can say? Are there more dimensions? According to quantum theory, there are infinite dimensions. Who is the blonde? Maybe Madonna? How will she deal with gayness? A toaster oven? Will she want to go home? Would YOU? How can you reduce the heat produced by your macbook pro? Erm, several possibilities - stop reading NC-17 on it, dip it in ice water, take it to the repair shop for remedial fan work... Do I want more collon? Not as yet, still have some, yum yum. Thanks watty! :D

[hr]

WillowsGirlXX

Rachel, thank you for letting me know you love DD! More will be forthcoming soon - whether it includes smoochies I'll not reveal. ;) Update will be soon, yes - Tuesday morning.

[hr]

justin

Thanks justin! Good call on noticing that the things were from the other dimension. How indeed will everyone react? Erm, not sure if RPS will work - it would be a fixed outcome, according to kb rules, anyway. Heh.

Was it the bump on the noggin or something else? Good question. We'll find out. Thanks for reading!

[hr]

Tujeky

Thank you very much! Yeah, I figured that we should get right to the action or at least the jump, and we don't need to get bogged down in the process because Willow doesn't exactly know what happened yet, so neither do we. Yep, many directions, and more will be revealed soon - glad you're along for the ride!

[hr]

Lonewolf22

Hey Lonewolf22, Willow will be okay ultimately - she won't die or anything. That much I can promise. We'll find out some more of what is happening and what people think about it soon. Thank you for reading!

[hr]

willowbaby05

Will Willow flip out? And who kissed her? Are there two Willows? Hee hee, those are all good questions, but I won't be drawing most of them out too much - we'll find out some more in the next chapter. :D Thank you for reading!

[hr]

Tarababy77

Hey Aaron, I'm so glad you're on board for this one! Yes, the scene is funny to imagine - what would any of us do if we were kissed and dragged somewhere by someone who seemed to think it was all normal? Thank you for reading! :)

[hr]

willow_tara_always

Hey Jo, glad you're liking this story. No worries, another update will come along soon. Thank you for reading!

[hr]

MochaVamp

Mocha Vamp - ooh, pink Saturday! Was that Pride Saturday, or something else? And...are you sure that the bar/nightclub replaced one side of their sign, or did you perhaps slip into an alternate dimension yourself, brought on by one too many mochas? ;) Thanks for reading, I appreciate it!

Part 3 - Confusion

Willow was stunned. Her mind was trying to grapple with multiple input items all at once when any one of them taken by itself would have been overwhelming. First, Middle Earth being called The Magic Box. She had seen it happen before her eyes, the sign changing. Then the strange blonde who seemed to know her, called her by name, and told her they were late. Late for what?

And last but definitely not least, the kiss. Being kissed by a stranger was disconcerting enough, but Willow also was stunned by the immediate reaction she had. It wasn't that the kiss felt familiar or that it had awakened some long-forgotten memory in her like Sleeping Beauty. The blonde was still as unfamiliar to her as any stranger. No, it was her personal reaction. She felt bewildered, flustered...and a sort of yearning. Was that what it was? It was as if the kiss, short as it was, had permeated her entire body with warmth and tingling. It was a feeling that she had never had before, not even during the early days of her relationship with Danny.

She wasn't sure what the kiss had been intended to imply - really, it had been very short and had felt more like a greeting than anything else. But why would a stranger greet her that way? Was she European? And why was she walking along the street hand in hand with this girl? Or being led, really.

"Wait..." she said again.

The blonde tugged Willow's hand as if to urge her to speed up. "Come on, Willow, we're already late. Buffy said she was going to meet us there. She took the car."

Buffy? Was this girl a friend of Buffy's? Had she sent her to find Willow? Willow relaxed slightly - Buffy had a fairly large circle of acquaintances and this wasn't the first time she had met one of Buffy's friends who had seemed to know her - she was easy to pick out of a crowd with her red hair and unusual name. Maybe Buffy had decided to drive Willow to the hospital and had sent her friend to intercept her in town. But why had the girl said she had missed her?

"I must have hit my head harder than I thought," she muttered as she quickened her pace.

The walk wasn't far, just a few blocks outside of downtown to a complex of garden apartments around a courtyard. Willow's companion kept up a steady stream of chatter about her home life for no reason that Willow could discern. "I made eggs and pancakes this morning and just when they were all done Dawn told me that she wanted cereal, can you believe that? Oh well, I wrapped them up and put them in the fridge, although leftover eggs aren't very good. Did you have breakfast?"

And people say that I'm the queen of non sequiturs. "Yes, I did," she said.

"I'm glad," the girl said. "It's not healthy to only have coffee."

"I don't drink coffee," Willow responded.

"You haven't had any coffee? Is it opposite day?" the blonde said distractedly as she hurried across the courtyard to the front door of a ground floor apartment. "Well, don't worry. Giles will have some."

"Is Buffy here?" Willow asked. She was growing anxious to see her friend and get away from this babbling, incomprehensible girl - despite the lingering tingle she could feel in her lips.

"Probably," said the girl as she gave the door a cursory knock and turned the knob. "I'm sure she beat us since she was coming from dropping Dawn off. We're probably the last ones at the Scooby meeting."

"Who is Dawn?" Willow asked, but the blonde was already through the door. Willow followed her. Did she say Scooby meeting?

Relief washed over her as she saw Buffy's familiar face. Her roommate was seated on a couch eating a jelly doughnut.

"Buffy," she said.

Buffy turned. "Hi Will!"

"Did you get your hair cut?" Willow asked, confused. Buffy's hair had been six inches past her shoulders for as long as Willow had known her, but now it framed her face in a layered bob, the shortest part just under her chin.

"Last week, just a trim," Buffy replied. "Come sit down and have a doughnut, you must be starving after your long night."

My long night?

"Where are the others?" the blonde girl asked from the kitchen, where she had started some coffee brewing in the drip machine on the counter.

An unfamiliar, older man wearing a cable-knit sweater and glasses emerged from the hallway that led away from the living room. "They called and said they would be late. I suggest we start without them." The man had a British accent and seemed to take it in stride that his apartment had been taken over by young people, was covered in a dusting of powdered sugar from jelly doughnuts, and that the strange blonde woman had helped herself to his coffee maker. He held a cup of steaming tea in his hands.

Willow's panic was growing. Start what? She had been momentarily reassured by Buffy's familiar presence in the strange apartment, but even Buffy seemed different somehow, in more ways than the haircut. She sat in a much more self-assured way than usual, and seemed to make no move to get up from the couch. That made no sense, since Buffy knew she had an appointment at the hospital and was almost more worried about her vision problems than Willow herself.

She walked over to Buffy and hesitantly sat next to her on the couch. "Buffy," she began in a low voice.

"Yeah, Will?" Buffy responded.

"Aren't you going to take me to the hospital?"

Buffy gave her a curious look. "Why would I do that? Are you feeling okay?"

At that moment the older man walked over and sat down in a recliner. "Tara, let's get started."

"Coming," said the blonde girl, finishing up with the coffee in the kitchen. Tara - he called her Tara. She walked into the living room holding a mug of coffee, which she handed to Willow and then sat down next to her on the couch. A little too close for comfort, actually. Willow edged herself a little to the left.

"Quit crowding, Will," Buffy said.

Willow was confused by the coffee - hadn't she said earlier that she didn't drink coffee? But strange behavior seemed to be the order of the day with this girl...Tara. She put the mug on the coffee table, and decided to pull Buffy aside and ask what the heck was going on.

Before she could speak, the older man beat her to it. "All right, let's begin. Why don't you tell us what you discovered last night." He looked at Willow as he said it.

She gave him a blank stare. "What?"

He sighed and took off his glasses. "Please try to pay attention, Willow. Did you find out anything at all from Bibeau's Compendium that might help identify what kind of demon we're up against?"

"I'm sorry, what?"

Tara held up a restraining hand. "Giles, I'm sure she's pretty exhausted from being up all night doing research - and she hasn't had any coffee yet. Why don't you drink that, hon, and we can continue this once you're caffeinated."

Again with the coffee. What is it with this girl and coffee? "I'm sorry, I don't understand what's going on. I told you, I don't drink coffee."

Buffy snorted. "Yeah, you take it intravenously."

Tara bit her lip and looked at Willow with concern. "Sweetie, you seem a little out of it. Did something happen last night?" She reached over and took Willow's hand, stroking it gently.

"Why are you calling me sweetie?" Willow jerked her hand away as she felt tears begin to prick behind her eyelids. Her panic rose to an almost insurmountable level, and she stood up and took a few steps away from the couch. "I have to get out of here."

The older man - Giles, Tara had called him - gave her an odd look. "Willow, is something wrong?"

"How do you know my name?"

His odd look was part concern, part impatience, and part...something else. "Willow, we've known each other since you were in high school. Haven't we?"

She shook her head as tears spilled out over her eyes and coursed down her cheeks. "Buffy, who are these people?" She turned in appeal to her roommate, her last link to sanity.

Buffy was giving her the same odd look as Giles, though. "Will, I see that you have the wiggins, but I don't know why. It's Giles and Tara."

Tara stood up and walked toward Willow, who backed away from her. She stopped, her hands up in a gesture of appeal. "Willow, did you do a spell last night that included any Lethe's Bramble, maybe?"

"I don't know what you're talking about," Willow said, as more tears escaped.

"Do you know who I am?"

Willow shook her head. "I've never met you before in my life."

Tara looked stricken. Giles' eyebrows shot up in surprise, and Buffy's jaw dropped.

"Why don't you s-sit down and we can t-talk about this," Tara stammered, clearly caught off guard. Tears sprang into the blue eyes. Willow felt a pang of regret that the she was the cause of her distress. The feeling mixed with her panic and unfortunately didn't do much to calm her down.

"Listen, I need to go. I'm late for an appointment at the hospital," Willow said.

"Hospital?" Buffy echoed. "What's wrong with you?"

Giles stood up. "I have an idea," he said. "Clearly something strange is going on here, Willow. Why don't we sit down and you can tell us what happened. I'm worried about you, and I don't think it's the best thing for you to wander around Sunnydale alone right now, especially as upset as you are. If you have an appointment at the hospital, let's call them and reschedule it."

She eyed him warily. He seemed genuinely concerned about her, and had a reassuring, authoritative air about him. He reminded her of a teacher, actually. Slowly she nodded.

"Can I use your phone?"

He pointed toward a phone on the wall in the kitchen. She removed the appointment card from her pocket and dialed the number. As she picked up the receiver and dialed the Sunnydale Hospital, she saw Tara shakily take a seat back on the couch near Buffy, her lip trembling. Buffy whispered to her and she leaned her head on Buffy's shoulder as Buffy put her arm around her shoulder in a comforting hug.

Willow felt a little tinge of jealousy at that, but shoved it aside as she heard someone pick up the line.

"Sunnydale Hospital."

"Can you please transfer me to Dr. Angel in neurology?" she said.

There was a pause on the other line. "I'll transfer you to neurology, but we have no Dr. Angel listed. Hold, please."

Willow wrapped her free arm around her midsection as she fought to stay calm. It was a big hospital. There was no reason to expect that the main receptionist would know every doctor on the staff.

"Neurology," came the tinny voice through the line.

"Hi, I'm Willow Rosenberg, and I have a 10:00 a.m. appointment with Dr. Angel," she said. "I was calling to see if I could reschedule it."

"Rosenberg?"

"Yes."

There was a pause. "And who did you say your appointment was with?"

"Dr. Angel."

Again, a pause. Finally, "I'm sorry, Ms. Rosenberg, but we have no record of an appointment for you today."

She swallowed, trying to hold back the tears that wanted to flow anew. "Then can you please just put me on with Dr. Angel?"

"I'm sorry. We have no one on staff by that name."

Willow stared at the phone, the words ringing in her ears. Slowly, she replaced the receiver in the cradle on the wall, and turned toward Giles, Tara, and Buffy, who were all looking at her expectantly.

She tried to say something, but ended up bursting into tears.

That's a wonderful update, but we need more!

Oh, poor Willow is so confused, but I really feel for Tara. I mean, having the love of your life announce that she doesn't know you has to be hard. But where is the other Willow? Did she oversleep, or is she dimension hopping too? Although, I would like to again point out the benefits of two Willows... ;-) Sigh...two Willows...*wipes away drool* Uh, yeah, I mean....um...great story! :paranoid *is shifty* More please!

Ooh, you are the cliffhangiest hanging-on-a-cliff cliffhanger writer ever! Thank goodness that was Tara. Poor Tara.

Poor Willow.

*sniffle*

The Bibeau Compendium . . . nope, still not coming up with any ideas as to where you're heading with this yet.
