Chapter 1: The Meeting.

Willow wondered down the streets of Sunnydale, California in search of something to eat, but do not take that the wrong way, for she was not in search of food, but blood. For Willow was a Vampire, one of the original Seven Vampires to crawl out of the ashes of the angels and the demons on the battlefield that hosted the battle between good and evil all those millions of years ago before mankind came into existence. Willow loved her simple life back then, spreading bloodshed, misery, doom and destruction with her brothers and sisters. Until, ‘Goddess’, until that fatal night when she went to far and tortured and killed a girl, a girl who was loved by all of her clan. Willow sighs, ‘stupid gypsies make my life a living Hell!’ Willow hung her head and began to remember what happened to her, ‘the gypsy priestess cursed her to roam the Earth with a soul, a soul that made her remember, remember all she had done, all those she had tortured and killed, in vivid detail. The only thing that was good about that curse was that by giving her a soul the gypsies had made it so she could walk in the sunlight and enjoy it without turning to dust’. (Even though most vampires can stand the sunlight for only small amounts of time.) Willow kicked at a small rock in her path and sent it flying into a wall, where it embedded its self. She sighs, ‘Damn vampire strength.’ Willow walked to the Park then walked down to the duck pond. She whistled softly, and whispered; “Zelda, here kitty, kitty.” Willow tilted her head to one side to listen to her surroundings, but instead of hearing just a meow she heard a low whispering voice. Willow’s curious side got the best of her and she went over towards the voice to see what was there, what she found was not what she had expected. Willow looked around the corner and saw a girl that was about 17 with a curtain on blonde hair covering her face. Willow looked down to the girl’s lap where she was petting a black cat, HER black cat. Willow listened to the girl as she spoke to the kitten.

“H-hey little one w-where is your Momma, I’m sure she is p-probably worried about you r-right about n-now.” Said the girl to the kitten as she stroked her black fur. All the kitten did in response was meow softly. “Aww, aren’t you j-just the cutest thing!” She scratched it behind the ear as the kitten began to purr. “I wish I c-could take c-care of you, at least until I found your M-Momma.” Said the girl as she spoke the kitten looked up at her and meowed softly, and then started to play with her long blonde hair. The girl begin to giggle at how silly the kitten was, then she sighed softly. “I w-wish I at least knew what your name was, then I w-would know what to c-call you.” The kitten rolled over showing her belly to the girl. The girl smiled and began to rub the kitten’s belly.

Willow watched from the safety of her darkened corner. She smiles, such a pretty girl, I wonder what she is doing out here all alone at night. She is perfect bait for any monster that happens to be hungry for flesh or blood. Willow decided she had been in hiding long enough so she decided to make her presence known. She walked out of the shadows and towards the old oak tree where the girl was sitting petting the kitten. Willow took great care to walk ever so quietly so that the girl would not have heard her coming until she wished it, when Willow was next to the tree she leaned against it and said softly, “Zelda.” The girl under the tree jumped up, waking the kitten from a comfortable slumber. The girl quickly picked up the kitten and said worriedly, “Wh-What?” Willow looked at the girl’s face for the first time and was floored, but soon shook herself out of it. “Her name. It is Zelda.” The girl bright blue eyes looked around then widened when they fell upon the kitten, which was now at Willow’s feet, softly meowing and rubbing against her leg. Willow slowly bent down and picked up the kitten and began to stroke her fur. The girl looked down slightly ashamed at being caught talking to an animal. Willow smiled and watched as the girl began to blush, “It is okay, I talk to her to. She is not just a pet to me, but a friend. I do not mind if you wish to play with her, I normally do not have time to play when she wants to.” Said Willow as she took in the girl’s full profile. The other girl smiled and extended her hand,
” I-I’m Tara, W-what’s your name?”
“Willow.” They heard a snicker behind them.
“An I’m Mike. Thas enough chit-chat.” Willow whirled around to face a sandy blonde haired vampire with his game face on. Mike grinned at Willow showing off his fangs. Willow just smiled politely at him while Tara looked on in complete horror. The kitten in Willow’s arms began to yawn as if to show no fear towards the nuisance that had intruded in on her playtime with the two girls. Willow looked over Mike’s profile and raised an eyebrow,
“Didn’t your mother ever teach you any manners, like not to interrupt peoples private conversations?” asked Willow as she turned back to Tara, the look on Tara’s face yanked at Willow’s soul and told her to do something. Mike on the other hand just stood there confused, ‘doesn’t this chick know what I am? Why isn’t she afraid of me?’ Mike couldn’t believe that a human had told him off. ‘A human girl no less.’ he thought to himself, ‘Unless, unless she isn’t human! She is probably a demon in disguise.’ Mike grinned to himself at having figured out what the girl could possible be. Tara on the other hand was rooted to her spot, she knew she should probably run, but a part of her, a braver part told her that whatever this “guy” did, if he became troublesome, Willow would take care of her and protect her. She had no idea why she felt this way, but she did, she felt safe around Willow and just knew that she would protect her if time came to that. Mike got over his shock of being told off and smiled at Willow,
“So, Willow…” Willow whirled around and pinned him with a deadly gaze, but Mike paid no heed to the warning and continued.
“What kind of demon are you? Ooh let me guess, umm a Changeling, a Werewolf, a…”
“ENOUGH!” Shouted Willow as she grabbed Mike by the front of his jacket and hoisted him off the ground and got in his face,
“If you do not shut it I WILL take YOUR head OFF! Is that understood?” asked Willow menacingly. Mike nodded his head quickly not wanting to lose it. Willow smiled and threw him backward into a wall with a sickening, skull-cracking THUD!

Willow wiped her hands on her black pants and slowly turned toward Tara. Tara looked at Willow not in horror, to Willow’s surprise, but with a smile. Willow was confused, normally when she saved people and did stuff like this people questioned how she did it, but here was Tara just smiling instead of surrounding and drowning her with questions. Tara slowly stepped closer to Willow and said,
“Thank you.” Willow looked at Tara confused for a minute then said,
“For what?” Tara tilted her head, all the while smiling,
“For saving me.”

I think you should definately continue. I love Zelda, she's so adorable. Stories about Vampire Willow are one of my favourite kinds, so I can't wait to see where you take this.
By the way, welcome to the board. I'm actually pretty new myself.

Okay Ya'll, here's Chapter Two!!!

Chapter 2: Saving Her?

Willow looked at Tara dumbly, until what Tara said registered in her head. She shook her head and smiled at Tara,
“It’s nothing.”
“Oh but it is!” Said Tara as she looked at Willow and smiled brightly.
“N-not a lot of p-people would risk their life f-for another person.” Continued Tara, thankfulness, shining in her eyes. Willow looked into Tara’s deep blue eyes and felt something, something she hadn’t felt in a long time…Hope. Willow turned away trying to shake away the feeling and said,
“Really it’s no trouble Tara. I mean it was just a guy, how much trouble could he have been? Anyway, you had better get home before your parents wonder were you are.” Willow looked back at Tara and saw that Tara was looking at the ground. Willow realized what she had just said, ‘I hadn’t meant to make it sound as if I wanted her to go away, I just didn’t want her parents to worry about her when she was safe.’ Willow turned back and faced Tara and said,
“I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to make it sound as if I didn’t want you around, because I do! I just-“
“I-I get it, its o-okay, W-Willow.” Willow looked at Tara and felt horrible for what she had said; she could feel sadness and bitterness coming off Tara in waves. Willow tried to see if she could make it any better,
“Would you like me to walk you home, Tara?” asked Willow, hoping that maybe she could somehow make this mess go away. Tara looked away then back at Willow with saddest eyes Willow had ever seen.
“I-I,” Tara sighed,
“I don’t h-have a h-home.” Tara looked back down her hair covering her face. ‘Great,’ thought Tara, ‘now she’s probably going to run away, and be afraid to be my friend.’ Willow could feel worry and uncertainty coming off Tara, she hadn’t meant to make her unhappy and Willow decided then and there, that she never, ever wanted to see her Tara sad again. ‘Whoa there, back up! When did she become my Tara??’ Willow gently stepped closer to Tara and gently took her hand, when she did a HUGE bolt of energy went zinging into both of the girls, awakening something, something deep inside them that drew them to one another. Tara looked up at Willow in shock and was about to ask her if she had felt the energy when before she could, Willow just looked into Tara’s eyes and nodded yes. Willow smiled softly and asked kindly,
“Why don’t you have a home?” Tara’s eyes widened, How can I possibly explain to someone like her about my family problem, about why I ran? Will she make me go back, will she help me, and will she not want to get involved and just leave? To say Tara was afraid, was putting it lightly, she was terrified! Willow could sense the tension in Tara’s body and could see it in her eyes.
“Tara, it’s okay. If you don’t want to tell me you don’t have to.” Willow squeezed Tara’s hand reassuringly, and could feel some of the tension filtering out of Tara’s body.
“If you wish you may bunk out at my place.” Willow said as she leaned forward and tucked a piece of blonde hair behind Tara’s ear.
“Oh no, I-I c-couldn’t! I w-wouldn’t want t-to intrude!” answered Tara as she blushed and looked down, letting her hair fall and cover her face.
“Nonsense, you wouldn’t be intruding, you would be welcomed, for Zelda and I are mighty lonely living in our house alone.”

Here's chapter three if you all are interested!

Chapter 3: What am I Doing?

Willow held Tara’s hand as they walked out of the Park and onto the streets of Sunnydale. ‘Well this is a fine mess of trouble I have gone and gotten myself into. Having a human, bunk out at my place. I can see this has bloody murder written all over it!’ thought Willow as her and Tara walked past Sunnydale High. Tara looked up at the High school then at Willow,
“Willow?”
“Hmm?”
“Do you go to Sunnydale High?” Willow stopped walking and turned back to look at Tara and thought a moment, then shook her head no.
“Oh, that is probably why I have never seen you here before.” Said Tara as she began to walk again. Willow took a look at the High school and sighed softly before catching up with Tara again.
“So umm, Willow?”
“Yeah Tara?”
“If you don’t go to Sunnydale, umm… where do you go?” Willow stopped walking again and tilted her head and finally said,
“I do not go to school.” Tara looked at Willow in shock then confusion.
“But, you are so young. You are like 16, why aren’t you in school? I mean school is-“
“Stupid.” Answered Willow bitterly. Tara looked up at Willow surprised.
“Well, not what I was going to say. I was going to say, you know, kind of fun.” Willow looked over at Tara and raised her eyebrow,
“Fun?”
“Well yeah, in a way. I guess.” Tara looked down and began to pick at an invisible thread on her skirt. Willow looked at Tara and could see that even Tara herself was not even buying the whole, “school is fun” thing.
“You are lying to me.” Willow said as she smiled gently at Tara.
“Am not!” said Tara a little too defensively. Willow rolled her eyes and squeezed Tara’s hand softly. Tara looked up into Willow’s eyes and could see that she was only joking. Willow smiled sadly,
“I know what it is like to be afraid.” Tara looked away, knowing she could not hide anything from Willow.
“Hey, hey. No crying, this is a no crying zone.” Willow tilted Tara’s head back and could see tears forming in the corner of her eyes.
“I know what its like to be afraid, to be made fun of, to be pushed around, and to be picked on.” Said Willow as she looked into Tara’s eyes.
“How could you, you don’t even go to High school. How can you possibly know how I feel?” Tara looked at Willow her eyes threatening to spill unshed tears of fear, hate, and worry. Willow hugged Tara close to her to comfort her, but all that it did was send electric bolts of energy through Willow and Tara’s bodies.
“I know,” Willow said softly, “Because I use to go to school”
“You did?” asked Tara softly as she rested her head in the crook of Willow’s neck.
“Yeah, I did. So I know how you feel.” Willow said as she began to stroke Tara’s long blonde hair gently.
“But you seem so cool, calm, confident, and together.” Said Tara as she leaned into Willow, making Willow a little light headed. Willow just smiled and said, “Looks can be deceiving.”

Here is Chapter 4!

Chapter 4: Am I, or Aren’t I?

Willow took Tara’s hand and they began to walk to the outskirts of Sunnydale.
“Willow?” Tara looked around at her surroundings and noticed that they were getting farther and farther away from the center of town.
“Yeah?” answered Willow afraid that maybe Tara had changed her mind.
“Where do you live?” asked Tara curiously as she looked over at Willow, who seemed to be in a world of her own. Willow turned to look over at Tara and was secretly pleased to see so much curiosity shown on Tara’s beautiful face. ‘No one has ever shown any interest in me before; I wonder why this girl is?’ Willow pointed up ahead, up on a hill where a HUGE mansion was. Tara followed where Willow was pointing to and her jaw dropped open when she saw the mansion.
“Y-you m-mean,” Tara swallowed and took a breath before continuing.
“y-you live there??” asked Tara full of awe. Willow watched Tara’s reaction and was pleased with the response and effect her ‘house’ seemed to have on her. Willow smiled when Tara looked at her.
“So, you like my place I see.” Said Willow as she gently squeezed Tara’s hand. Tara blushed and looked down letting her hair cover her face, a little embarrassed about how she was acting over a house, ‘I mean it is not even my own house.’ She thought. Willow looked over at Tara and to her disappointment Tara’s face was hidden behind a curtain of blonde hair.
“Is there something wrong Tara?” asked Willow worried that the sight of her house might have brought back memories of Tara’s own home.
“N-no, I-it’s just, it is bigger then I expected.” Tara said a little unnerved by how the house could have this big of effect on her. She thought a bit then, it hit her… it wasn’t the house its self that effected her it was the thought of Willow living there alone, ‘Maybe I misheard her, she probably lives there with someone else. I mean, yeah I expected her to live in a house, but not such a big house!’
“An you live there all alone? As in, by yourself?” Willow looked over at Tara and thought, ‘Maybe having her over isn’t such a hot idea after all.’
“Well no, I don’t actually live there alone.” Willow stopped and looked over at Tara who at the moment looked relived.
“Then who do you live with?” asked Tara, an uneasiness settling in her stomach at the though of maybe meeting Willow’s parents, what would they say when their daughter brought home a stranger, and to sleep over. Tara swallowed hard.
“Well,” said Willow noticing Tara’s growing uneasiness,
“I live with Zelda my kitten and Drusilla. But she mostly sleeps in or stays in her bedroom all the time she comes out once in a while to make sure I am not into any mischief.” Willow looked over at Tara again and could feel that some of her uneasiness had filtered out of her body.
“Who is Drusilla, if I may ask?” Tara asked curiously. Willow smiled and softly said,
“Oh, she is my Sire.” Tara stopped walking and looked up at Willow worriedly.
“S-sire?? A-as in V-vampire S-sire??” Willow stopped walking and looked at Tara in surprise, then quickly shook her head and smiled at Tara. Willow gently laid a hand on Tara’s arm and said,
“Yes, but don’t be frightened. For she will not hurt you if you stick with me.” Tara looked up at Willow frightened.
“S-so you’re a, you’re a vampire?” Willow’s smile wilted and felt sour on her lips, she frowned and looked down and mumbled,
“Yes. I understand if you don’t want to be my friend anymore, not a lot of people would. If you want I’ll help you find another place to spend the night.” Willow felt horrible the way that Tara had looked at her as if scared that she was going to pounce on her and kill her. Tara looked at Willow, but this time really looked at her, looked into her aura. What she saw was not what she had expected to see in a vampire.
“Y-you have a s-soul?” said Tara in more of a question to herself then to Willow. Willow’s head shot up and she looked at Tara,
“How did, how did you know??” she asked in confusion. Tara looked at Willow and said,
“I read your aura.”

Chapter 5 Ya'll

Chapter 5: You Read My What?

“You read my what?” asked Willow not sure that she had heard Tara correctly. Tara shifted from one foot to another then looked up at Willow and said,
“I read your aura, you know you signature of who you are.” Willow looked at Tara then realization dawned on her.
“So, umm…you’re a witch?” asked Willow curiously. When Tara did not answer Willow gently squeezed Tara’s hand and brought her closer.
“Tara, it’s okay. You don’t have to hide anything from me. I mean after all we are friends, right?” asked Willow as she looked into Tara’s worried eyes.
“I-I know, it’s just, it’s just that when I was living with my family my father use to tell me that being a witch was something to be ashamed of, something evil.” Willow looked over Tara’s profile and could tell that Tara was uncomfortable talking about her family. Willow opened the door to her house and lead Tara through the threshold. Once inside Willow looked over at Tara to see how she would react to seeing the inside of her house, but to her disappointment Tara’s face was hidden behind a curtain of blonde hair.
“Tara, you don’t have to talk about your family life if it makes you uncomfortable.” Willow took Tara’s hand again and gently squeezed it. Tara smiled gratefully at Willow then sighed softly.
“No, I need to tell you this if we are going to be friends, that way you know what you are getting yourself into, and I also need to tell someone so I can get over it and move on with my life.” Tara looked at Willow, who seemed to be deep in thought, “Which we are, aren’t we? I mean I assume we are after all you did come out and tell me you were a vampire.” Willow smiled and gently squeezed Tara’s hand to get her attention. Tara looked up at Willow and saw her smiling and relaxed.
“Of course we are friends, but do not stress so much over something you shouldn’t worry about when you are with me.” Willow brought her hand up to Tara’s cheek and gently cupped it. Without thinking, Tara leaned into Willow’s hand and looked deeply into her eyes, what she saw there startled and excited her beyond her wildest dreams.
“Kitten, kitten has come to play!” Willow and Tara both jumped away from their intimate embrace in order to see what or better yet, who had spoken. Tara’s eyes came to rest upon a pretty brunette with dark brow eyes and a red and black dress on. Willow smiled and ran to the woman with arms open wide.
“Mummy!” Willow hugged the woman close to her and kissed both of her cheeks. The woman pulled away and smirked at Willow then looked over her shoulder at Tara then back at Willow. Willow smiled at the woman as the woman began to shake her finger at her.
“Naughty Wicked! Playing with kittens without permission!” Willow frowned at the woman.
“But Mummy!” said Willow and the older woman silenced her with a wave and said.
“Ah, no but-buts.” The elder woman began to snicker at her own words. Tara looked over the elder woman and could feel that something was special about her too. Willow turned to look back at Tara and smiled and mouthed the name ‘Drusilla’. Tara smiled back at Willow and Willow turned back to Drusilla.
“Mummy, may I keep Kitten?” Drusilla looked at Willow and tilted her head in a way that made Tara think that she was asking why.
“Please Mummy, Kitten has no where to go.” Drusilla glided over to Tara and looked her over. She leaned in and sniffed her hair and then drew back with a smile.
“Witchy kitten, Miss. Edith will be pleased to see fellow Wiccan.” Willow smiled.
“So then, we keep Kitty?” pleaded Willow in a childlike voice that Tara had not thought Willow was capable of. The elder woman nodded her approval and glided back to Willow, she gently touched Willow’s jacket and smiled then left the two of them and wondered into her chambers.
“Willow?” Willow turned back to face Tara.
“Yes?” Tara walked over to Willow and gently took her hand. Willow looked up into Tara’s eyes and could tell that Tara was slightly puzzled by the display of the elder vampire.
“Why, um, did she call me Kitten?” asked Tara completely confused. Willow ran her fingers through her hair and thought, ‘How do I explain to a human the rules of the Vampire world?’ Willow sighed and absent-mindedly stroked the back of Tara’s hand with her thumb.
“Because,” Willow said hesitantly, “she thinks that you are my pet.” Willow looked away, not knowing how the news would effect the girl she had come to think she knew. Tara raised her eyebrow,
“Your pet? As in your human pet?” Willow looked at Tara in surprise at how she could know so much. Willow opened her mouth to say something, but Tara cut her off.
“I read a little about vampire pets in my Grandfathers diary when I was little; he was a watcher to a Slayer. I didn’t actually stop to think that stuff like that actually happened, that it was real…” Tara stopped talking long enough to think about what she had read in her Grandfathers journals. ‘Oh my Goddess that means, whoa no! Willow would never! She is way to nice to try and force me into doing stuff I don’t want to do…well actually it would depend on what- NO! She wouldn’t!’
“W-willow, does this mean that all you were doing, the saving, the being my friend, was just so you could-“Willow’s head shot up.
“NO!! Don’t even think that, not even for a second! I want to be friends with you.” Then Willow thought to herself, ‘Actually I want to more with you, but hey who’s complaining?’ Willow looked into Tara’s eyes and could see uncertainty in them.
“Tara I so want to be with you, as an equal.” Tara’s eyes widened at what Willow had just said, and when Willow had not taken it back, Hope rose in her chest. Tara smiled at Willow and stepped closer to her.
“You know, I actually wouldn’t mind being your Kitten.”

Chapter 6: Tara Kitten?

Willow looked at Tara in surprise then smiled at her, “You mean you actually want to be my kitten?” asked Willow her voice laced with an emotion that Tara could not at the moment recognize. Tara nodded at Willow and playfully purred her eyes a dark blue with what Willow knew to be lust. Willow swallowed hard at the lump in her throat, but to her dismay it would not go away so she was left unable to speak. Tara had no idea what had made her feel like she could act so brave, playfully flirting with a girl she was strongly drawn to. It was like this girl brought out a braver part of herself that she only knew she had in her fantasies. Tara pulled away and winked at Willow then began to look around the house. Willow watched Tara’s every step catching her every movement. Willow looked at Tara in awe, was it only three hours ago that she had met this girl, and had been radically drawn to her? Willow’s heart and soul said no, there was something, something different about Tara; she made Willow feel as if she had known her all her lifetime, but alas that was impossible. Wasn’t it?
“Willow?” Willow stopped thinking and turned to where she had heard Tara’s voice.
“Yes Kitten?” Willow heard a giggle then saw Tara come back into the room with a purple rose in her hand. Willow looked at the rose then back at Tara with her eyebrow raised. Tara stepped closer to Willow and offered her the purple rose, Willow looked into Tara’s eyes to see if there were any strings attached to the offered rose, what she saw was pure understanding and friendship. Tara smiled and leaned forward and kissed Willow on the cheek and gently placed the rose in her hand. Tara drew back and looked into Willow’s eyes to see if there was any sign of rejection in them… there wasn’t. Willow smiled and took Tara’s hand in hers.
“So I see you found your way into the garden.” Said Willow, with a hint of wanting in her voice, a wanting she hadn’t felt in a long time. There was only one way to describe how Tara made her feel and that was… whole. Tara smiled that lopsided smile of hers and led Willow into the garden, once there; Tara took off running into the overgrown garden. Willow rolled her eyes, but decided that this little chase game would be a good idea to get her nervous mind off the topic of whether or not she truly cared for Tara or whether this was just a little mistake. Willow let Tara get a good head start in their little game before coming after her; she waited a good five, ten seconds then took after Tara. Tara in the mean time kept running, looking for a place to hide. She know deep down that something was bothering Willow and she wanted to get Willow’s mind off it, so she did the only thing she could think of that that a vampire might like as a game and started the hunt.
CRUNCH!!
Tara heard Willow some distance behind her and knew that the chase would not last for long. Tara smiled as an idea formed in her head and she slowed her pace a little bit. Tara went around a bend and ran smack dab into… Willow. Tara let out a little scream in having run right into something, while both girls, thanks to Tara, and went flying towards the ground. Once on the ground, with Tara on top of Willow, Willow began to look over Tara’s entire body looking for bruises, cuts, or broken bones. All the while that Willow was looking over Tara’s body; Tara had been watching her holding back giggles, then all the sudden she began to laugh.
“What’s so funny?” demanded Willow as she stopped her examination of Tara’s body and looked up into Tara’s eyes.
“You are.” Replied Tara as she slowly began to get up and dust herself off.
“How am I funny?” replied Willow angrily. Tara just smiled and took Willow’s hand and helped her up, once up Willow pulled away from Tara.
“Oh Willow, don’t be like that. It’s just, you were being so mama-bearish and it was-“Willow cut Tara off with a warning growl.
“Oh come on Willow, it was cute.” Willow looked at Tara and opened her mouth to speak, but nothing came out. ‘Wow, she said I’m cute. No one has ever said anything like that to me before, how am I supposed to react to something like that? What am I suppose to say?’ Willow went to try and say something again, but didn’t even have time to part her lips before Tara’s full lips were on hers.

Chapter 7: Feelings?

Willow gently kissed Tara back as her mind went blank and then was a flurry of activity. Tara gently leaned into Willow’s body and wrapped her arms around her neck, while kissing her softly. Willow’s whole body felt like it was on fire! She had never felt so much pent up passion for someone before, yet here she was, tangling her fingers in Tara’s golden locks, pulling her in deeper. Awakening these feelings, feelings she had long since forgotten she had. Tara felt Willow kiss her deeper, so she did what her body told her to do and that was to kiss Willow back, to give Willow everything she had. Finally after a few more of what seemed like hours of kissing, the need for air surfaced to Tara. Tara pulled away from Willow’s lips but not from her body, just in time to hear a small whimper escape from Willow. Tara smiled and stroked Willow’s neck with her fingertips, while doing so she listened to Willow start to purr softly. Tara then ran her fingertips up to Willow’s jaws and lightly traced it, then went to her cheek, then traced her lips. Willow opened her dark green eyes and looked up at Tara with desire painted in them. Tara looked into Willow’s eyes then pulled away and sat on the grass, she looked up expectantly at Willow and Willow went and sat down beside her. Willow looked over at Tara then took her hand, Tara smiled and looked up at the stars that where twinkling in the sky.
“Tara?”
“Yes, Willow?”
“Do you… do you like it here? I mean so far?” Tara looked over at Willow and thought a minute before simply stating:
“I like it.” Willow looked over at Tara and could sense that something was troubling her; Willow gently ran her thumb over the back of Tara’s hand and was not able to ignore the warm presence that it created in her soul.
“You want to talk about it?” asked Willow softly, Tara looked at Willow surprise at how well she was able to read her emotions. Tara looked down and her long blonde hair fell to curtain her face from her surroundings and from Willow, she shook her head ‘No’. Willow looked at Tara concerned, ‘I wonder what could be bothering her? Whatever it is, it shouldn’t be bothering her, I know that much.’
“Tara you know you can tell me anything, right?” asked Willow worried that Tara didn’t trust her. Tara didn’t look up nor did she answer then after a little while she slowly nodded her head. Willow reached down and slowly tilted Tara’s head up so that she could see her face, Tara looked up at Willow and when she saw the worry in Willow’s eyes she couldn’t contain herself any longer and began to cry. Willow, seeing how upset Tara was, pulled her close and just held her, while gently stroking her hair. Meanwhile Tara just buried her head in the crook of Willow’s neck and sobbed silently, listening to Willow coo and comfort her. Willow gently lifted Tara up and placed her on her lap facing her, so she could hold her better, then she began to rub Tara’s back as she felt the blonde witch begin to calm down. Willow gently nuzzled Tara’s neck and whispered,
“You okay?” Tara slowly looked up at Willow with tear-stained eyes and hiccuped then nodded her head, Willow looked at Tara and couldn’t help but wonder what could possibly be upsetting the poor blonde so much. Before Willow even had time to think about what she was doing she asked,
“What is it that troubles you so much?” Willow’s eyes went wide as she slapped her hand across her mouth. Tara looked at Willow surprised, ‘Why would she want to know, why would she care?’ Tara looked down sadly as the last thought went through her head, because ever since she was a little girl her father and brother had beat into her that no one, or anything for that matter, could or would ever love or care for her. Willow looked at Tara and saw her look away sadly and thought, ‘Great! Now she probably thinks I am an insensitive idiot!’
“Goddess, I am soo sorry Tara! I…I didn’t mean to be such an ass! I mean here you where, crying over something and I’m all, ‘What’s wrong?’ Goddess I’m such an-“
“Willow!” Willow looked over at Tara. “Breath.” Tara smiled a little then added. “Did you just say all that in one breath?” asked Tara as she tilted her head to one side. Willow grinned and said,
“Vampires, like me, can hold their breath a couple minutes longer then humans. But you should really stop me when I start to babble, it’s not pretty.”
“I think it is adorable.” Responded Tara as she leaned in and gently kissed Willow. Willow leaned into the kiss, loving the way Tara made her feel. Willow gently tangled her fingers into Tara’s golden locks and pulled her closer to deepen the kiss, and then she gently began to run her fingers through Tara’s hair, listening to Tara’s soft moans. Tara pulled back as the lack of oxygen was getting to her. Willow looked at Tara questioningly while Tara just smiled and whispered softly,
“Air.”
“Oh!” Willow began to blush. “I totally forgot.” Willow hung her head, now it was Tara’s turn to lift Willow’s chin up and look into her eyes, when she did all she saw there was acceptance, love, and a slight twinge of embarrassment.

Summary: Love is in the air!

Chapter 8: What Are You Afraid Of?

Willow looked up at Tara and saw that there was nothing but love and understanding in her eyes, Tara smiled at Willow and Willow smiled back. Then a thought pushed its way up to the surface of Willow’s mind and finally Willow let herself think, ‘What is she so afraid of talking about?’ Tara noticed Willow’s facial features and saw that Willow was lost in thought; Tara put her hand on Willow’s.
“What is going on up there?” asked Tara as she gently tapped the side of Willow’s temple. Willow meanwhile lost in thought, saw Tara’s lips move and felt her tap her temple gently,
“What?” she asked as she shook her head to clear her mind, she looked up at Tara.
“Whatcha thinking about?” asked Tara softly, Willow looked into Tara’s eyes and decided to tell her the truth.
“You.” Tara raised her eyebrow and smirked.
“What about me?” she asked as she cuddled into Willow and gently kissed her neck while waiting for an answer.
“About what you are so afraid of talking about.” Answered Willow simply. Tara pulled away from Willow, got off her lap and headed for the house. Willow sighed and shook her head before jumping up and racing after Tara.
“Tara, come back! I didn’t mean to upset you! I… I just was wondering what was bothering you so much, so much that you didn’t trust me enough to talk to me about it.” Willow said as she came up behind Tara and took her hand gently. “I’m…I’m just worried about you.” Tara turned around and looked at Willow and could see that she was being sincere. Willow saw Tara’s tear-stained face in the candlelight and knew that it was because of her and her big mouth that Tara had begun to cry again, she looked away and happened to look upon a clock which read at the time:
2:37 AM

Willow sighed then looked at Tara seriously,
“Follow me, you must be tired.” Tara surprised at the sudden change in conversation did nothing but nod her head ‘yes’ and let Willow lead her up a staircase and down a hall to a room, Willow’s room.
“You can sleep in my room until I fix up a spare room for you.” Willow opened the door to a nicely done up room with blood red walls and a lush black carpet. To one side of the room was two heavy black curtains to block out any light that may have come in from the moon or the sun. In the middle of the room on the wall across from her was a beautiful canopy bed with a dark oak headboard depicting an almost angelic design. On the bed were black satin sheets and a heavy black satin comforter. At the foot of the bed was a small blood red loveseat, next to the bed a couple feet away on the right hand side were a beautifully carved drawers, on the left hand side was an oak nightstand with a lamp on it. On the wall to the right to her was a door that Tara guessed went either to a bathroom or to a closet. The thing that to Tara that seemed a little out of place was Willow herself when she walked into the room, this room to her looked so dark and mysterious, but also so plain, and Willow was by no means of the imagination plain! The other thing that Tara noticed was that no where in the room, absolutely no where, was there a mirror. Willow looked over at Tara to see her reaction and was pleased as she watched Tara take in the room piece by piece then as a whole. Willow had never felt so exposed to someone before. No one, absolutely no one had ever been in her room before tonight, not even her own Sire! Tara looked over at Willow and could feel some tension and uneasiness start to build in Willow, so she walked over to Willow and gently took her hand the softly kissed her on the cheek.
“Thank you Willow, for everything, for all you’ve done for me! You didn’t have to do it but you did, and I am grateful for that! But I still have one more question.” Willow looked at Tara and nodded letting her know it was okay to ask anything. “Where are you going to sleep tonight?” Willow smiled at Tara’s thoughtfulness and simply said,
“In the living room, on the couch.” Tara’s eyes went wide as she looked at Willow in horror.
“N-no! Y-you can’t! I mean, Goddess I told you I w-would be intruding by coming here! I mean here I am taking y-your bed while y-you get the couch, Willow that’s not at all fair by any means!” Willow grinned and stepped closer to Tara.
“Are you propositioning me Tara?” asked Willow in a seductive whisper, to answer Tara just looked down and blushed furiously. “Anyway.” Continued Willow, “You are not taking my bed, I am giving it to you, well for tonight that is.” Said Willow with a grin then she nodded towards a door on the other wall. Tara looked at the door then back at Willow questioningly.
“That door leads to the Master bath, now go freshen up while I find some clothes that you can wear until we can find some replacements for those.” Tara looked over her clothes and blushed with embarrassment, never before had she ever noticed how dirty and torn her skirt and blouse were. Willow stepped close to Tara and tilted her chin up, “Hey, I didn’t mean to make that come out all snobbish. It’s just, a pretty thing like you should be in more comfortable clothes, and I’m not making this any better am I?” Tara smiled and shook her head while grinning.
“Not really, but if you keep babbling I’m sure sooner or later you’ll fix it.”
“Now that’s not funny, making fun of my babble. I didn’t make fun of your clothes.” Willow crossed her arms over her chest and put on a fake pout. Tara smiled and leaned in and gently kissed Willow on the cheek.
“Now come on Willow, you know I love your babble.” Willow smiled then looked at the clock.
“Come on now, enough joking around. I’ll find you something to wear while you go and take a shower then after that you had better go to bed Missy.” Said Willow in a mock serious tone, Willow flashed Tara one more smile before pushing her into the bathroom and closing the door behind her. While Tara took her shower Willow went into panic mode, ‘What if I don’t have anything that fits her?’ Willow went over to her dresser and went rummaging through it to see if see could find anything that would fit Tara comfortably for tonight. Willow pushed aside her tight black jeans and her black leather pants and was about to give up when low and behold! She found a pair of long forgotten gray sweat pants that looked like they would fit Tara. Willow then went on a hunt for a shirt that would go with the pants. After going through every drawer she owned, she finally got frustrated enough and gave up on her own clothes and barged into her Puppies room and grabbed one of his Silk button up shirts. Willow held Puppies shirt and a tear slipped down her cheek, she quickly wiped it away as soon as it came. ‘Damn Slayer, stole my Puppy, stole Mummies poor mind. Oh Well, at least I have Kitten to keep me company!’ Willow thought as she walked back into her room just in time to hear the shower water go off. Willow knocked on the door to the bathroom.
“Yes?” Answered Tara, her voice muffled by the thick old Oak door.
“I got you some clothes, I’ll just leave them on the bed. Okay?”
“Okay. Willow?”
“Yes?” Willow walked back and stood next to the door to hear Tara’s next words.
“Thank you.” Willow smiled and replied softly,
“You are always welcome.”

Chapter 9: Silk Shirts and Sweat Pants? Part 1.

Tara got out of the shower and dried herself off, then dried her long blonde hair with a towel. She looked around the bathroom seeing if she could find a hairdryer, but she could not find one. ‘Oh well, I’d much rather go to bed anyway then waste anymore time screwing around.’ Tara wrapped a towel around her and opened the bathroom door letting the steam from her shower escape into the cooler room, warming it up. Tara walked over to Willow’s bed where there was a magenta silk button-up shirt and a pair of gray sweat pants. Tara smiled and mused to herself, ‘Silk shirts and sweat pants, what interesting taste in night clothing, but hey I’m not picky! Hell, I’ll take anything.’ Tara slipped out of the towel she had wrapped around herself and began to dress slowly, loving the way the silk felt on her newly washed skin. While in the process of getting dressed, Tara’s stomach growled, Tara put a hand across her stomach and frowned, ‘Not tonight, I don’t want to be anymore of a bother then I already am to Willow!’ Tara looked at the silk laden bed and her frown deepened. ‘I really shouldn’t be taking her bed, it’s not fair that I should get the bed and she the couch! Maybe, just maybe, I can talk her into switching me! Hold on, just one little snag in that plan, where is the living room?’
“Knock, knock.” Tara looked at the door and smiled recognizing Willow’s voice.
“Willow, you do not have to knock after all, it is your room.”
“Yes I do, well you know just incase you are still dressing or something.” Tara blushed and went over to the door and opened it to see Willow standing there smiling with a plate full of sandwiches. Tara looked at the sandwiches then back at Willow.
“I see that you brought some food up, are you planning on bribing me?” asked Tara, Willow just smiled and walked in.
“Maybe, depends.” Tara tilted her head and looked at Willow questioningly.
“On what?”
“On whether or not you are hungry.” Willow said with a smile as she handed Tara a sandwich, which Tara took and thanked her for then ate quickly.
“So I guess you are then.” Tara looked up at Willow with her eyebrow raised a questioning look in her eyes.
“What?” Willow just shook her head and smiled.
“Hungry, duh!” Both girls broke out in a fit of giggles.
“Maybe just a little bit.” Answered Tara as her stomach growled its response. Willow handed Tara another sandwich and sat back and watched her eat it in a comfortable silence.
“Mmm, these are good!”
“Well I’d hate for you to say that they were bad.” Said Willow with a playful smile, Tara rolled her eyes and playfully shoved Willow, while she fiend an expression of hurt. Tara just smiled at Willow and then began to eat another sandwich that Willow had handed her, when she noticed that while she ate, Willow did not. Instead she just watched her and seemed satisfied with doing just that. Tara wiped her hand across her mouth to rid herself of any crumbs that may have lingered there and looked at Willow.
“Willow?” Willow’s eyes went wide when she realized that she had been caught staring at Tara.
“Um…Yeah?” asked Willow nervously, pretty sure that Tara had noticed her staring and probably was going to call her on it and cuss her out.
“How come you are not eating? I mean vampires do eat solid food as well as blood, right? Or is it just a strict blood only diet?” Willow sighed relieved that Tara hadn’t said anything about her staring and doubly relieved that Tara hadn’t cussed her out for it if she had noticed. Willow then looked at the plate that she had put the sandwiches on and thought a minute.
“Well, I haven’t actually really eaten real solid food in a long time. Not that vampires can’t, because they can, believe me they can. They can also drink juices and stuff like that, it is just we prefer blood over normal food because blood fills us faster and longer, and I am probably grossing you out aren’t I?” Willow looked up at Tara, while Tara just shook her head and smiled.
“Actually, no. This is actually very fascinating to me, I never knew that vampires could eat real food and taste it, I always thought that because you were unliving meant that your taste and everything else had left you.” Tara got quiet for a minute to process everything she had just learned, then suddenly asked excitedly,
“Hey, can you change shape too, and be like a bat or a wolf or something along those lines?” Willow raised an eyebrow and looked at Tara to see if she was being serious, when she saw she was she started to laugh. Tara looked at Willow not understanding why she was laughing.
“What?” asked Tara as Willow began to calm down, Willow looked at Tara and just grinned.
“Now I know that you watch way too many movies.” Tara looked down blushing, ‘Great.’ She thought. ‘Now she probably thinks I am a total loser for thinking like that.’ Tara blushed a deep shade of red as Willow looked her over. Willow smiled to herself, ‘Goddess she is so cute when she does that, but I would like it better if I could see her face.’ Willow reached out and tilted Tara’s chin up and smiled at her.
“It’s okay, a lot of people make that mistake, and it’s really no big deal.” Willow smiled at Tara and could tell that Tara felt a lot better. “Anyway back to what we were talking about. Normal Vampires can not change shape but, I on the other hand am not an ordinary vampire.” Tara looked at Willow confused.
“I’m sort of a Mutt.” Said Willow. “A mixture of a bunch of demons and other mystical things. Like my being able to change shape and keep most of my instincts and my brainpower, is thanks to the fact to me being a Shapeshifter.” Willow looked over at Tara and could see that she was shocked.
“What? Did you not think that me being a vampire let me have a little bit of power from each of the people I drink from or drain?” Willow smiled, then the realization of what she had just said hit her and she began to frown and looked down at her boots. Tara noticed the change in Willow’s demeanor and wondered what was wrong with her.
“Willow? Is there something wrong?” asked Tara as she placed a hand gently on Willow’s knee. Willow looked away.
“You know it’s not all that fun, being a vampire and having to drink people’s blood in order to survive. It is terrible, I hate my life now.” Willow looked up at Tara and into her eyes. She sighed, “To tell you the truth, when I didn’t have a soul I use to kill everything and anything, just for the hell of it, and I never gave a care for the people I hurt or the lives I ruined.” Willow looked back down. “Now I hunt as little as possible, even when I feel the demon inside me want to kill for fun, but I refuse to do so, because it hurts. I feel what my victims feel.” Willow turned her head away from Tara in shame. “I feel everything, their pain, their fear, their lives slip away.” Willow choked back tears and tried to continue. “And to know that I am the one that caused all of that. What disturbs me even more is when I feed on people and all I feel is, Hope, the hope that this is the end and that this is their way out of life.” Willow sighed and a tear slipped down her cheek and onto Tara’s hand. “What scares is that sometimes when I feed, I can feel the demon coming out and sometimes I am not always able to stop myself from killing my victims.” Willow put her hands over her head and whimpered, as if she had been struck by some invisible hand. Tara took Willow’s hand in hers and gently began to rub the back of her hand with her thumb.
“W-what happens if you don’t feed?” asked Tara seriously concerned for her friend, and generally curious herself.
“Ever seen a living skeleton?” Willow looked over at Tara, as she shook her head ‘no’.
“That is exactly what we are, living skeletons, except worse off. I myself get sick and weak and believe me, a sick vampire is not a happy vampire.” Willow looked at Tara surprised once again to how much concern she could feel coming off of Tara.
“When was the last time you fed?” asked Tara looking at Willow and noticing for the first time how pale Willow was.
“Umm…a little over three or four days ago.” Willow looked down at her boots suddenly finding them Very fascinating. “I was hunting last night when I came across you.” Tara stared at Willow in wonder.
“Well, how come you didn’t just feed on me then?” asked Tara, Willow looked at Tara and smiled slightly.
“Because, when I saw you sitting there, under the old oak tree petting my kitten. I just…I dunno, I just couldn’t. I felt that I had to protect you, get to know you, and I know that probably sounds pretty funky coming from a Vampire like me.”
“No, not at all! I mean maybe if you were an ordinary vampire it might, but your not, your… you!” Willow smiled and leaned over and gently kissed Tara on the cheek, causing the blonde beside her to blush and duck her head, causing a curtain of blonde hair to fall over her face. Willow grinned and tucked a piece of Tara’s hair behind her ear and smiled when she could once again see Tara’s beautiful face. Tara looked up at Willow and smiled at her.
“What was that for?” she asked, smiling.“For being, you.”

Totally missed this update! What a cute conversation! I like how thoughtful Willow is in bringing sandwiches to Tara. Will Tara volunteer to help feed Willow? I'd do it, for Willow. New update please?

Willow looked down at the empty plate then looked back up at Tara and smiled softly.
“Well, it seems that you finished off all of the sandwiches that I made for you. I guess that means that it is off too bed with you.” Willow began to rise and just as she was getting up, was stopped by a hand, Tara’s hand to be exact. The heat from Tara’s hand sent electric bolts of energy flowing throw Willow, making her a little lightheaded. Willow turned around to face Tara and looked her over in the obviously way too large silk shirt and the well fitting sweat pants that, in Willow’s eyes, showed off Tara’s beautiful figure. Tara looked up at Willow and watched shyly as Willow looked her over, then finding her voice she began to speak.
“Willow, y-you d-don’t have to sleep on the couch. What I mean is, I would be more then willing and more comfortable if-“
“Nonsense!” Willow waved her hand to dismiss what Tara had said. “What kind of a host or a friend would I be if I made you sleep on the couch? I just wouldn’t feel comfortable sleeping in my bed while you slept on the couch, and besides,” Willow looked into Tara’s eyes and said softly, “I like you. I want you to be comfortable here.” Tara looked at Willow, shocked to her such confirmation to a thought that she had, that maybe Willow actually liked her. Willow stepped closer to Tara and then leaned forward and gently kissed her. Tara in all her shock of hearing Willow say she liked her, did just what her body told her to do, and kissed Willow softly back. Willow pulled back after what felt like a lifetime to them, but really was only a few minutes and smiled kindly at Tara before turning and saying,

I think we all can agree on that subject.
