A year later Willow and Tara are celebrating there kids first birthday, they invited the whole gang over for the celebration. Willow stayed home with the kids while Tara went out to buy the party supplies for the party. The two of them wanted to go all out for there kids, since it was there first birthday.
Tara pulls into the party supply parking lot, drives around until she finds a parking spot. finding a spot close by the front door she pulls in and parks. cutting the engine off, grabbing the list and her wallet. She heads inside grabs a shopping cart going down each isle for all the stuff on the list. Running into an old friend from school.
"Oh my god Tara is that you?"
"Do I know you?" Tara asked.
"Its me Julie, Julie Niles," Julie said.
"Oh my god hey, what brings you to California?" Tara asked, hugging her.
"My job transfered me out here, two months ago," Julie said.
"Wow that must be great for you," Tara said.
"Yeah it is, so how have you been doing?" Julie asked.
"I've been good," Tara said.
"Are you still a firefighter?" Julie asked.
"unfortunately no I'm not," Tara said, grabbing streamers from the rack.
"That's a shame, can I ask why not?" Julie asked.
shrugs "I resigned is all," Tara said, not wanting people to know her business.
"Oh ok, looks like your having a party," Julie said.
"Yes we are, how about you come over to this address," Tara said, writing the address down.
"Should I bring anything?" Julie asked.
"No its just a birthday party for three beautiful one year olds," Tara said smiling.
"Cute so your brother finally settled down and got married," Julie said.
"No there my babies," Tara said.
"You, you have three one year old, I have a hard time believing that. I mean look at you," Julie said, checking her out.
"No I didn't have them my wife had them," Tara said.
"WHAT!! Wait your a lesbian, since when?" Julie asked, in total shock.
"Since always," Tara said.
"But how can that be, I mean in high school you dated guys, the captain of the football team at that," Julie said.
"Well yeah but I never had sex with any of them either, I also dated your bestfriend," Tara said smiling at her.
"Wait you dated Lisa?" Julie asked.
"Yup we dated for about two years," Tara said.
"I will have to ask her that when I see her," Julie said.
"Well you do just that, if you'll excuse me I have to pay for these and get back home," Tara said walking to the counter.
"I will see you at the party later then," Julie said.
"Ok see you then bye," Tara said, walking out the door.
Julie walks out to her car, hops in "you will never guess who I ran into," Julie said, as she closed the door.
"I have no idea who,"
"Tara Maclay.. you should remember her Lisa," Julie said, cranking up the car.
"Wow Tara lives here that's cool, So how is she doing?" Lisa asked.
"You can ask her that tonight," Julie said.
"what do you mean by that?" Lisa asked.
"did I forget to mention were invited to a birthdy party at her house," Julie said.
"Oh what should we bring?" Lisa asked.
"What ever one year olds like," Julie said.
"Wait its a kids party, why are we going to a kids party Julie?" Lisa asked.
"I'm curious to see what her kids and wife look like," Julie said.
"Tara is married with kids?" Lisa asked.
"That's what she said, she also told me you two dated for two years," Julie said.
"So yeah we did, but now I'm with you," Julie said.
Tara pulls into the driveway, shuts the emgine off and pops the trunk open. As she gets out she spots Willow and the kids walking from the back yard. "Hey sweetie wanna give me a hand," Tara asked.
"C'mon you three let's go help momma," willow said.
The two boys ran over to help out with the stuff, as the little girl stayed behnd with willow. She Knew she was a little smaller then the boys. And it always upset her because she couldn't do have the stuff that they did.
As Tara walked inside the house and into the kitchen, she places the bags down. Something out the kitchen window caught her eye she moves the curtain back to see a jungle gym in the back. "Hey where did that come from?" Tara asked, as willow walked inside.
"granma Rosenberg brought to us," Blake said.
"She did, that was nice of her," Tara said, picking him up.
"yea she got Angle some something else to pay with mommy," Blake said.
"Like what, what did she give our Angle?" Tara asked.
