Summary: A poetic twist on the love of W/T

My eyes close gently,
As I try to read the letters ahead,
Dreaming. About her.
Blonde hair like sunshine,
Eyes blue like the Caribbean Sea,
Sweet, tender lips, slightly pouting.
Dreaming about her.
Gently stroking her hair,
Embracing – never wanting to let go,
Kissing her beautiful body,
Hearing her passionate whimper in my ear.
I wake up,
Only to realize,
She doesn’t even know what I’m dreaming.
That I’m dreaming of her.

Tara:

How I wish I could speak to her.
The way her green eyes sparkle at me,
Only makes me stutter,
She would be unable to understand me.
I want to hold her in my arms,
Let her beautiful red hair flow down her back,
As I stroke it she sighs in ecstasy.
I wish she knew how I felt.
If only I could grasp my words and my voice,
To explain to her the love I have,
Will always have.
She’s coming my way,
Here goes round one.

The sound of her voice when she speaks,
tickles the inner core of my ear drum.
sending waves of pleasure through
my brain
my heart
my...
Her words repeat in nervousness,
it does not bother me at all.
I stand mesmerized by her beautiful eyes,
in a trance -unable to comprehend the world
slowly melting into oblivion.
simply at the sound of her voice.
I can speak, I have found words to vocalize
to ask her to study with me tonight.
I feel guilty inside, knowing
that I make the date to study her.
Deep down I ponder whether she feels the
sensitivity on parts of her beautiful body
the way I do when she looks into my eyes.
Her eyes,
Her voice,
Her presense,
make me realize, who i want to be with for,
eternity



Tara:


As she approaches her lips gently part.
they pout, slightly screaming
for anothers lips.
she is asking me to study with her.
god, i want to study her.
places of her body I could only ever dream
of exploring. I want to study them.
Frozen, unable to respond,
I nod my head in utter agreement.
Giggling inside at the fact that she wants to study
academics, yet i want to study her and she has
no
idea.
If only I could find the words, the courage,
to tell her about my dreams.
the embarrassment of them binds me,
if a single soul knew i would
dissolve - into limbo.
If only she knew that I want to carry
her children, and take her last name.
I dream of our family and our white
picket fence.
If only I could find the courage,
the audacity,
to admit to her,
my dreams.

Is the shaping of the verses being driven simply by the length of the words, because you can and they "sound" right as short or one-word verse, or does the shape itself have a meaning you're trying to "put into" the poem? (See, you can tell I've read creative writing manuals *grin.)

I sit cross legged
staring
day dreaming
wondering.
she is so adorable when she focuses.
I sit and wonder,
does she realize I'm not studying English,
I'm studying her.
The way the streak of sun
beaming through the window
highlights the blonde in her hair.
The way her eyes gleam
when she stares too long at one page.
How can I find the courage
to tell her
to kiss her
to touch her.
to do anything beyond dreaming.
as she looks up to ask me a question
our eyes meet momentarily,
my heart beats faster.
I hope she can't hear it pounding.
Is it possible to have your heart
explode
implode
melt
all at the same time?
that's what she does to me.
her sparkling blue eyes.
it's far beyond butterflies
more than a crush.
it's love.

Tara:

I have read this paragraph over 100 times.
her eyes burn a hole in me
a beautiful flaming hole
a hole i am proud to have.
I already know everything for the test
but I'm too nervous to look up,
for our eyes to meet again.
My voice drifts away when it happens,
it's as if my brain temporarily loses function
forgets how to speak,
to think,
to breathe.
No one has ever made me feel like this.
I wish I had the courage to reach out
grab her hand
stroke her hair
kiss her lips.
I wish I could read minds
know all of her thoughts
particularly right now.
especially right now.
I want her right now.
My body is tightening with pleasure
anxiety
ecstasy
her red hair is so vibrant
her green eyes glistening in the sunlight.
I want so badly to hold her
to grab her hand
to stroke her hair
to kiss her.
To act on all my wishes
my dreams
my love.
