Another Harvest Moon - new Amber film

Amber is filming Another Harvest Moon this month in Pennsylvania. It stars Ernest Borgnine and has a Cocoon-esque plotline...

Here's hoping that this is the breakthrough hit that Amber so richly deserves!

I can think of no better way to spend time than to be wrapped up in a cocoon with Amber Benson.
Oh wait sorry, it's a "Cocoon"-like film starring Amber.
There's me projecting again...Still Amber and Ernest Borgnine.

I hope they have scenes together. I'd always liked him and Ir ead the firsat part of an interview with him in Filmfax a year or so ago and was really impressed about how thoguhtful he is in terms of being conscious of his work and the types of parts he played. (.Marty winning an Oscar the year I was born; semi-coincidence that he's working with my favorite actress now.) He said he deliberately avoided nice-guy parts like that after he proved he could do it.[/i]

Look for a hybrid car with a bumper sticker reading "I Brake For Kittens" and tell them you need a lift to meet Amber.

Meanwhile, Doris Roberts, who became a household fixture as the overbearing mom and grandma on Everybody Loves Raymond, has picked up a new film gig. Variety reports that she's starring with Ernest Borgnine in a new film called Another Harvest Moon. She'll play "a relentlessly peppy septuagenarian in a nursing home." The film has got a pretty sweet cast that boasts the likes of Piper Laurie, Anne Meara, Cybill Shepherd, and Amber Benson.

The DVD's been released in Australia apparently, you can find it on ebay (It's region 4 but most DVD players can be made multi-region, look up the unlock code for your model online)
