I hope they have scenes together. I'd always liked him and Ir ead the firsat part of an interview with him in Filmfax a year or so ago and was really impressed about how thoguhtful he is in terms of being conscious of his work and the types of parts he played. (.Marty winning an Oscar the year I was born; semi-coincidence that he's working with my favorite actress now.) He said he deliberately avoided nice-guy parts like that after he proved he could do it.[/i]

Meanwhile, Doris Roberts, who became a household fixture as the overbearing mom and grandma on Everybody Loves Raymond, has picked up a new film gig. Variety reports that she's starring with Ernest Borgnine in a new film called Another Harvest Moon. She'll play "a relentlessly peppy septuagenarian in a nursing home." The film has got a pretty sweet cast that boasts the likes of Piper Laurie, Anne Meara, Cybill Shepherd, and Amber Benson.
