Heh, Willowass. . . Umm, something. Oh! If Wolverine gets his own game, do Willow and Tara get their own then?

There could be a level on how to make them moan the loudest. . .

Oh yes, a Willow/Tara game would be such a good idea. You could have the option of playing either of them (with subtly different levels for each) or a two-player option where one is Willow and the other is Tara.

They would start off with fairly simple spells and would aquire more advanced ones as the game progressed.

For end-level bosses, there could be Adam, Doc, Glory, that S6 guy Crack (or whatever his name is). Maybe Vamp Willow could make an appearance.

And of course, Willow and Tara would have plenty of scenes between levels of kisses and cuddles.

oh yes, moaning would be good :grin and maybe they could get extra kiss bonuses for slayage.

My nomination for big bad is :joss

I've been hiring the Xbox version of 1st game - which is only so-so especially when you're a pretty crap player like me & hardly get through any levels & give yourself rsi trying to get Buffy to give Willow a little kiss on the cheek :lol

I've thought about buying it but xbox games are so expensive here - around $100 Australian but if the new one includes Tara & being able to play as Will then I might just save my pennies for that :bounce

ETA - thanks for the screenshots drlloyd !

Is Willow wearing red Chuck Taylor's in that second picture, or am I just imagining it? Gotta love a girl in cuffed jeans and a pair of Cons :heart

There are two threads for this, so I guess I'll post this here.

There are some screencaps up for "Buffy 2: Chaos Bleeds" up at GameSpot.

Here is Willow.

Also there will be a novelzation of this game by Chris Golden. No word on when and where yet. Someone might know, I don't.

Grrr.

I am not happy about this though.

From Sci-Fi Wire.

www.scifi.com/scifiwire/a...2.00.games

Quote:

Chaos Expands Buffyverse

Greg Goodrich, vice president and executive producer of Vivendi Universal Games' upcoming Buffy the Vampire Slayer video game, Chaos Bleeds, told SCI FI Wire that the sequel serves as a lost episode of the show's seventh and final season. "We're trying to stay as consistent with what's going on in the final few episodes," Goodrich said in an interview at the Electronic Entertainment Expo in Los Angeles.

Goodrich added, "Even though we [haven't] really kept that much in the loop with what was happening, we are making adjustments as [the show] is going on. There are a few things that are needed to destroy The First that we have in the game that may not accurately follow exactly what's going to happen, but we're pretty darn close."

Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Chaos Bleeds features the voices of not only the majority of the show's cast, but also that of creator Joss Whedon. But star Sarah Michelle Gellar (Buffy) wasn't available to voice her character. "In Chaos Bleeds, you not only play as Buffy, you [also] play as Willow, and you can play as Xander, Spike, Faith and Sid the dummy, who is a fan favorite from the first season," Goodrich said. "He is actually a demon-possessed ventriloquist's wooden puppet."

Chaos Bleeds offers both single-player and multiplayer battle modes, including one-on-one combat, last-man-standing, team-survival, domination and "Bunny-Catcher" modes—the latter a reference to Buffy character Anya's well-known fear of rabbits. "There's 24 unlockable characters, both good and evil," Goodrich said. As for Whedon, he will have the ability of every character in the game, both good and evil, he added. "He can do magic. He can do Slayer moves. And let me tell you, it's pretty funny seeing him do a roundhouse kick." Goodrich also said that players will see the return of Tara (Amber Benson) as an evil vampire with whom Willow must do battle.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Chaos Bleeds is published by Sierra Entertainment and developed by Eurocom. The game is scheduled to be in stores Aug. 26 for PlayStation 2, Xbox and GameCube.

Vivendi Universal Games is owned by Vivendi Universal, which also owns SCIFI.COM.

This runs counter to comments made by Chris Golden that Tara would be there and as a living person. Plus he also said that it took place during Season 5.

If this is the case then I have lost all desire to buy this game.

Re: Willow and Tara in video Game

Well acording to an interview Chris Golden gave online, he wanted Tara and Amber there. Plus Amber is doing a voice so I really doubt it is against her will.

But at the same time Chris also said there was a tender Willow and Tara scene. Something along the lines of Tara telling Willow to be careful.

Plus Willow's hair is season 5 not S7.

I read another article online that is still saying as of this week it is Season 5 (the ones Drlloyd originally linked).

So I am guessing that solid information is still sketchy.

We will know. I however, do not wish to see a vampire Tara fight it out with Willow. Sorry. That is not what I like. It's nothing against violence (hey I am on the Bloodrayne waiting list) it is deeper than that.

ETA: I agree Xita. I'll keep looking. There is the possibility that the story is wrong, or that there is live human Tara talking to Willow and VampTara fighting her.

I don't begrudge any actor, Aly or Amber, for doing this. Amber could have even done it as a favor to Chris Golden. I have no idea. But that doesn't mean I have to buy it.

In any case I'll figure it out.

Chris just posted

Quote:
It seems to me that whoever interviewed Greg for that piece both A) misconstrued some things he said and B) didn't get the whole story. The game is DEFINITELY NOT season seven. What he was saying is that it was difficult for us to keep up with the changes the show made to the mythology surrounding the First because they kept adding to it in season seven, altering what we knew. We had chosen The First as our major villain long before anyone knew that the character was going to be the final Big Bad.

As for the vampire Tara thing, damn but I wish he had not announced that. It's really a shame. In any case, do you see a vampire Tara in the game? YES. But it isn't what you're thinking and I believe in context with what else is going on, when you see what the other characters are dealing with, you'll understand. Is TARA in the game . . . normal human Tara? Yes. Absolutely. Is she in there anywhere NEAR as much as I'd like? No. Not that she was ever intended to be a part of most of the action scenes, but there was an entire level where she played a MUCH larger role in our original script than she does now. She's still involved in several levels/scenes and she still plays a role in that level (this is normal, human, sweet, loving Tara we're talking about), but some of the best stuff we wrote for her and Willow ended up being cut by the game folks both for time (we went a little overboard on the dialogue, heh) and because of the technical difficulties involved in some of the things we wanted to do.

Rest assured, though, she's definitely there. Amber recorded her voice, and because of the circumstances of how it plays out in the story, Amber had a great time playing it both ways.

Thanks for posting that Feena, that's definitely a relief.

I'm not happy about the idea of there being an evil Vamp Tara in the game but as long as there's also a live Tara in it I guess I can cope with it.

LokiPromise, thanks - I'll check the reviews before buying DA.
