Not to mention, both actresses are utterly incredible, and I find Amber to be a great role model and all-round person.

Its the chemistry between the two actresses...You can put two people together and not have that chemistry and the whole premise will suck...The characters have to be believable in the roles they are in..Its such a tribute to Amber and Aly that the chemistry was there and they took on these roles and did a wonderful job..



All the little nuance of two people in love, someone mentioned those, the touches, the looks, the smiles, everything about the two of them together spelled out the love Willow and Tara have for each other..It takes actress' with a lot of talent as Amber and Aly have to do something like that..Simply mahvelous

They're gorgeous!!!!!!!!!!!! I love the kisses and the sweetness between them. They genuinely love each other and that is just so sexy. Just everything about Willow and Tara is special. They are two amazingly beautiful young women and I them.

They are the face of true love, nothing I have ever seen compares. They are forever. Nothing will ever change that for me. When I first found this board, I was all like "oh WT are so wonderful, what does it matter they are two women, it is about the love, blah and blah".



Well it *is* about the love, but it is *also* about the fact that they are two women, not a man and a woman. This board opened my eyes to a lot of things. It made me aware of what many others rather deny. Willow and Tara are desperately needed. It is unique to have gay couple in a relationship portrayed so beautifully, courtesy of the wonderful Amber Benson and Alyson Hannigan. They (including Amber and Aly) have done so much good, they mean so much and they always will. Forever means forever.

I have to reiterate what other people say that W&T are a true testament to true-love/soul-mates. That we find love when we least expect it, and its something to hold on to and cherish. The chemistry between the two actresses truly make this couple seem so real, a true picture of two souls finding each other. In essence W&T are like two magnets who are forever drawn/pulled together, and nothing can stop this inevitable from occurring.

The strength they draw from one another that is immutably housed in their hearts and souls. That is a forever thing. I don't think I'd ever seen a lesbian on tv that I wanted to be, before I saw Willow and Tara. I'd always been disappointed in some way and then I saw them. They were just great, you know? They were real; they were immeasurably unreal; they were right and good and I finally saw two people who could love in the way that I'd always hoped existed.



True love; that's what matters. And theirs is the truest.



Of course, they're so cute. Yes, they're adorable. And Aly and Amber have such wonderful chemistry together that the screen lights up each scene they do with one another; and that just kept on going and going...



It's a "reach out and touch" love. It's something that you know only comes along once in a lifetime and dammit, that's enough for me. It's enough for anyone; or should be. And yes, I suppose in some small way, I'm aspiring to have that kind of relationship.

Well I'm a sucker for romance, and they are the finest I've seen on a TV screen. Plus I'm a total Willow fanatic, so seeing her taken to a whole new level of happy hooked me in, and of course Tara was so vulnerable and sweet. I still thinks its a classic moment when Tara is sat there in NMR thinking she's lost out to the nameless lycanthrope and then in walks Willow and well...just read my sig.

Tara represented hope through adversity, that love can be found to those who have been denied. Willow represented passion and sensuality. Together they were the most realistic portrayal of a couple (gay or straight) that has ever been on tv. I love them.

Ive tried writing this post three times and every time i somehow "lose" it, hit the wrong button and its gone..Must have been karma, maybe today is the day...I keep wondering why it is that a 47 year old dyke like myself who is single and spends alot of time alone watching tv and movies, became so enamored of these two lovely ladies in this show that i just happened to stumble upon..



i wonder why it is i get so sad when i watch repeats of Entropy or NMR or others with lots of Willow/Tara interaction, afterall its only a tv show right? I mean i had no idea when i first started watching, the effect the relationship between these two women would have on me...Hadnt planned on it, didnt want it, didnt want to get involved, just wanted to see the lesbians making out..Then a strange thing happened, i began to notice bits and pieces of my life and my loves in these

two women..



That is what makes them so special to me and maybe thats why alot of people dont get it, if you cant understand it and go beyond the lesbian thing and see the love between these two people then you never will get it..Its not about them

being just characters on a tv show, its the relationship, the fact that Tara

and Willow found each other..The first time anything on a tv show has ever been remotely relateable to my life, the realtionships ive had and the women ive loved...



In this huge world where you are lucky to meet someone you can relate to and connect with, these two found each other...They are special to me because it makes me think of another time, another place and it makes me smile...The fact that Amber and Aly gave these characters a life of their own and played them in such a realistic way, just makes it all the more bittersweet..I cant begin to fathom how much i will miss seeing W/T...I dont know that ill ever see that kind of chemistry or characterization again..

Hmm...what does make them special? I mean, they are both two people, deeply in love with the other, and furthermore they are on tv. You always seem to adore the people on tv, maybe becuase it is something that may never happen and it is just perfect and...and well perfect. In a way they are not really special, they are just like everyone else. Finding happiness in another person.



But they are also very special too. They found this happiness so quickly (relatively, I mean, who finds the right partner in college?). And this is what I want, this is what everyone wants really. Someone they will love forever and that person will love you back too. They have this, so in a way they are special to us becuase we envy them. We want to be like them.



Those comments were more on a general tone, let's try the personal tone. I think they are special becuase I can connect to them, I can see parts of my life and love in them, like you friskylez. And....it's almost a sadness for me. I mean, I feel happy for them at one time, and then the other I feel sad becuase I thought I had something like what they had. So out of this sadness springs hope for them to keep going on with what they have. Although, it was kind of ruined through the tv, but in our hearts and minds they will live on.

I think that I have the same reasons as most everyone else. They have what we all wish that we could have. The actresses have such great chemistry.



The hand holding, belly rubbing, hair stroking, true love.



And they were the first gay couple that I had ever seen (outside of 30 min. comedy shows) and they were the couple that made me wish that I could have a relationship like that. And like most younger people, Willow and Tara let me say to myself. Maybe I'd like to have a girlfriend. They're realistic portrayl of a couple (although I knew that I liked women and men) let me say outloud to myself that I did.

anyway, another reason is that people, gay/straight/whatever, can easily relate to the relationship of willow and tara since love is present among everyone. they have a real relationship and that i actually found some of my friends (well, okay, not found... converted...) overlooking the fact that they are gay since they really do have a wonderful love.

Willow and Tara are so special to me because they showed me that true love exists. The two brought some human warmth back into my heart, where before only darkness and despair could survive. Willow found in Tara not only a new lover, both found their soulmate in each other. And there was no demon or monster that was strong enough to defeat them, because when they are together the love they share is the strongest power in the universe.
