HOLLYWOOD (Variety) - As Hollywood preps for its kudos crescendo, the Web site
www.AmIAnnoying.com has gotten a jump on awards season.
Martha Stewart (news - web sites) led the voting by 1.4 million visitors to top the site's list of Most Annoying people of 2002. The nettlesome elite included a number of other talkshow hosts or regulars, including Ainsley Harriott, John Edward ("Crossing Over"), Sal the Stockbroker ("The Howard Stern Show"), Laura Schlessinger (news - web sites), Britain's Chris Evans and Christopher Lowell. The Am I Annoying Web site itself clocked in at No. 15, just ahead of WWII Japanese dictator Hideki Tojo but behind medieval seer Nostradamus.
On the opposite end of the spectrum, teen actress Mischa Barton (news) ("All My Children," "The Sixth Sense") led the Least Annoying list. Behind Barton were several other actresses, including Holly Marie Combs (news), Mary-Louise Parker (news), Amber Benson (news), Sarah Michelle Gellar (news), Natalie Portman (news), Diane Lane (news) and Donna Mills. And, in a victory of sorts, Winona Ryder (news) clocked in as the 20th least annoying person of the year.
