New Amber film - "The Crooked Man"

There will be a new film starring Amber this Saturday on the SYFY channel in the US. The film is titled 'The Crooked Man' and is about a nursery rhyme which summons a demonic figure. The film starts at 9:00 pm but I don't know if that is ESB or Pacific time zone and is repeated at 3:30 am though it may have further showings as it is part of SYFY's 31 days of horror. Sadly I don't know if it will be shown on tv here in the UK or if it will be released on dvd.

While at a slumber party, twelve-year-old Olivia is blamed for the horrific and mysterious death of her friend after singing a song, created by a reclusive mastermind, Milo (White), which summons a demonic figure known as “The Crooked Man.” Returning to her hometown six years later, a string of unusual deaths lead Olivia (Angelique Rivera) to believe that she’s still being haunted by whatever she saw that fateful night. Once you sing the rhyme, everyone in the house is cursed to die by his hands.

after her second appearance on *Supernatural*, I ranted and raved so much about it on her blog (without mentioning "killed" so other posters didn't get my exact meaning) that I felt I had to post an apology to her , either there or on facebook. I even said in the original rant I "almost don't want to watch anything you're in anymore."

Can you tell us about your role in the SyFy film The Crooked Man?

I’m a mom in the movie – I never get to be a mom! – and that was super fun. I’ll be forty in January, so it’s about time I mommed up.

Do you have a genre you enjoy acting in the most. I’m sure most fans assume you love horror due to the memorable characters you’ve played.

Actually, comedy is the most fun for me to do as an actor. It’s so much more difficult to make people laugh than it is to make myself cry on cue. I’m pretty good at the making myself cry stuff.
