Hi all! I just wanted to thank you all for linking to my pictures from The Sidewalk Film Festival. Yes, there are too many pictures there as I haven't had any time to sort through them at all. In the next few weeks, I will be cleaning up what I've posted, removing many of the poorer shots and entering descriptions for many of the better ones.

If you should happen to find yourself in any of my pictures, please feel free to use the Comment feature and let me know. :)

Just a final thought, all the images on my site are copywritten by me (or the photographer for the others I'm hosting) and may not be used anywhere else without my express consent. Thanks for understanding. Please feel free to drop me an email if you'd like to see about using any of them.

Lost restaurant scene

Postby Cipher » Fri Oct 11, 2002 6:38 pm

I have a lot to catch up on, so someone may have already explained this, but back around page 15 people were asking why she had to rewrite the restaurant scene after they lost the footage.

I think what they explained about this was that they lost Emma because they couldn't extend her schedule to reshoot the lost footage and thus she had to drop out (awww! :( ). As for the restaurant scene itself, they basically had to schedule to take over an actual restaurant for a while to shoot the scene and they weren't able to do so for a reshoot. I'm not sure if that's because of how much they'd have to pay for another go or because they couldn't get it on short notice (presumably it was originally scheduled somewhat in advance) necessary to stay within their production timeframe, or maybe both factors. Or maybe the restaurant just couldn't take the closure a second time. Anyway, since they couldn't reshoot the scene in the restaurant she had to write a replacement scene to convey the same information (I think it was shot on a boat).

So that's what I remember hearing about the lost restaurant scene.

Yeah, I remember that as well Cipher, but the necessity of a new location doesn't explain exactly why the scene was shot that differently. Ah well, hopefully I will be able to ask myself next year, if I remember how to form a proper sentence that is. :p

RL has been very crazy after we came back from Birmingham, that's why I'm so late in posting this... well, better late than never, right? :)

Hi sheila wt! I just can't see the link to your photos. My computer told me it's some errors. I hope someone can help me. :) I'm sure I'll enjoy your nice photos after I'm able to process the link!

Strongwoman66, probably the server got busy, too much traffic, keep trying and you'll get through. Let me know if you don't, ok?

Thannks for the pictures SheilaWT, so there are just Janice's left now? Come on Janice, you know that we all want to see them.

Oh Jimmi, did you get any good ones? If you did I am sure that someone woould be happy to host the best of them for all to see - if you were willing to show us? Mine were okay - nothing special though and similar to many others already posted. There was a mike stand in the way alot of the time.

Hi sheila wt! Thank you for encouraging me to try again. Amber's very cute and I'm happy you got to take photo with her. I took one with Amber at Toronto Trek, and she needed to kneel on the floor b/c of my height. Who can blame me if I'm only 4 feet 7? LOL

Cheers,

I didn't take all that many pictures at SWF. None really great or spectacular. I did get two rather good ones with Amber, the cow and me. One of them even have her trademark halfsmile. But they aren't "share" good.

(And yes that damned mike was in the way, allmost as much as the girl who was in half the picture of the Q&A butt-shot).
