I just watched Entropy for the first time and I'm feeling... borderline sobby. I want to know... the apart time from Tara's prespective... I only have half an episode with Live Tara to go... I want... Tara fill-ups...

I don't know how they'd write it on the show or in a comic, but I really don't think Tara would react that way. I think Tara would be sad but understanding of Willow's reaction to her death and even of her trying to destroy the world.

I guess the 'pissed-off sarcasm' didn't come through clear enough. My bad.

I agree with you about how Tara would actually react. However, I have no faith left in any of the regular 'Buffy' writers, whether they work on the show or on the comic.

And when we get someone who does understand (ie. Amber) they are let down by the artists.

Thus, I'm expecting some wildly out-of-character behaviour if we ever see Ghost-Tara or Hallucination-Tara.

Re: WBB Art cover

Postby hush30 » Thu Oct 03, 2002 10:34 pm

I think I've just about rung every comic book store in Australia and can't find a WBB photo or art cover anywhere. Ensam I think you got the last WBB available in the whole of Australia so make sure you give your girl a big smoochy :kiss for her excellent hunter and gathering skills.

If any kittens have a spare WBB art cover that you want to sell could you please let me know. I really, really, really want to get this one. I'll also keep a look out on ebay but their prices are just crazy. I don't think the old credit card can take yet another beating.

Anyway when making the numerous phone calls to comic shops around the country I did discover that some of them still have some Wilderness copies left so if any Aussie kittens are still looking here's their numbers:

Classic Comics (Melb.) 03) 96637210

Alternate World (Melb.) 03) 95292255

Also Kieli if you could email me to let me know if you still have/want to sell the WBB comic I'd really appreciate it. If I don't hear from you in the next couple of days I'll assume you've changed your mind or don't have it anymore (which is totally cool as it is your comic) :grin

I don't have an extra WBB art cover but I'm bidding on one for you as we speak. It won't cost much (this one is rather reasonable) so if you are looking for the Wilderness covers, let me know and I'll start bidding on those too.

Swap anyone?

Postby saule77 » Wed Oct 09, 2002 4:32 am

I'm in a bit of a predicament...

When Wilderness went on sale, there was not one copy of the photo cover to be found anywhere in Dublin. Art covers only. So I got two. But I really want the photo one...

If anyone's interested, I'd happily swap!

Thanks

Postby damron39 » Sun Dec 01, 2002 10:24 pm

Thanks to some good websites I was able to procure both issues of Wilderness. I am having trouble tracking down Blessedwannabe. I guess it's out of print. Anyone know of an online store or have you seen it on ebay recently?

Thanks for the replies to my earlier email

Well Karen, if you need a copy, let me know. I think I can manage to scrounge up the issue you're looking for and free of charge.

ETA: Here is a link to the Ebay auctions that are currently selling both the Wilderness comics and WBB. If anyone needs me to do a little creative bidding, I'd be happy to.

59, 621 is the rank rather than the number sold - it is the 59, 621st best seller on Amazon! ;)

I think this book is the combined Parts 1 & 2 of the W/T comic AB & C. Golden wrote. Anyone know?

That woman is gorgeous.

Ahem. Anyway. Further internet research reveals this volume is due to be published by Titan Magazines, who produce the Uk BtVS magazine and distribute comics over here (as well as running a lot of branches of Forbidden Planet, the UK's cult merchandise store...)

Edited to add: Flerelmsahlo posted this to the thread about the W/T comic books (which is now on page 4 of the Kitten) from the Silver Bullets Comics webpage:
