I just want to add my thanks to everyone for posting reports and pics..........I too am so thankful to have found this board and someday I hope to meet many wonderful kittens(and of course AMBER).



As always, Amber looks incredibly gorgeous. Words just dont do justice to how truely amazing she really is.



And, Michelle T.......OMG! did she ever grow up. and I like her hair now.



Iamyouknowyours....I would like to thank you for what you said to . It took guts. You're amazing. thank you for what you said to him. You were able to say what I cant express. THANK YOU

I'm so late with mine. *^_^* But here it finally is.



Joy woke me up at the crack of dawn (okay, not really, it was only 8 or something) to get ready. She took a shower and then I took a shower and we left in her car about 9 or so. We got to the Tower Records just after 10 and saw Xita and the other kittens and joined them. After a few minutes some of us decided that we wanted another copy of the CD, and Joy had to buy one for Shinnen, so we went inside the Tower Records and bought copies. Sometime later they asked us to move to the back, and the Kittens managed to get stuck into a corner by the dumpster. Bleh. So we stood in line and talked about a ton of things. I got to meet a lot of Kittens. After a while, we were asked if they could interview us Kittens for a thing for the season 6 DVD. We of course snatched that opportunity up. I stood somewhat in front, trying to cover my shirt a little because it was a Powerpuff Girls t-shirt, and PPG is Warner Bros. -_- So anyway, they asked us about a lot of things, like what we liked about OMWF. I said I liked it because there was so many elements; drama, comedy, action..etc. I mean, who didn't crack up when Anya said "It must be bunnies!"

There was a lot of things they asked; I hope most of it actually gets on the DVD. *^_^*



So then after a while, Joss, Amber, and Michelle got there. Joss pulled up in a green BMW and parked next to Amber's mom. He got out and looked scruffy (good word Joy!). People cheered. Not me though. About 15 minutes after that they started letting people in. The kittens were initially separated but then we got back together once inside the store. Kanina and Iamyoursyouknow were ahead of me but I was so excited to see Amber again that I didn't even hear Amber's comment to Kanina, or hear what Iamyoursyouknow said to Joss. Which is too bad, because I would have loved to see that! I did see Amber comforting Iamyoursyouknow, though. So anyway, I got up to Michelle T. She looked really nice! I couldn't think of anything to say to her but Joy was talking to her after I got her autograph and Joy was saying how she could actually talk and Michelle was like "and the breathing, that's good" and stuff. It was cute. So then I got to Joss and the CD book was still open to the page with Michelle's pic and he asked if there was any particular place I wanted him to sign and I was like "No, anywhere is fine," and he joked about signing over the pic of Michelle but then signed it underneath and said something about since he took the picture, he should get artist credit or something like that. I think I said "oh, that's cool that you took the picture." It's funny but a year ago I would have been so psyched to see him and now it's like "Joss sucks."



Finally I got to Amber and I had opened it to her page for her to sign it and I said "Hi! We've meet before! I went to the play you were in," and she was like "I remember." Then she asked me if I had waited all this time to see her again and I was like "Yeah" and she was just so cute that I forget what other convo we had. But then I was done and it was Joy's turn and I said, "Look! She can talk this time!" and Amber was like "great!" and stuff. Joy gave her a CD that we had made for her and she was so happy, she smiled really big! Joy said, "I heard you and your sister like Weezer!" and AMber was nodding and looking happy. She hugged Joy and I wanted to get a pic but Joy had the camera. So then we were done and we started to walk away and Amber blew Joy a kiss. It was very cute. We walked around in kind of a daze for a few moments and then went outside to chat with the other Kittens. We took pics and stuff, and then Joy and I left.



So anyway, Amber is so nice!! I want to see her again. *^_^* That was fun.

Hello Kittens-



I would like to take this chance to give a BIG thank you to Iamyouknowyours. Also it's nice to read about someone intelligent taking care of their fan base. I hope the youngest member of the trio was learning from Ms. Benson and not another party.





I won't say why here, but the quote from Ms. Benson at the signing - "It's ok. Everythig will be rectified."- makes me uneasy, as does much concerning ME's treatment of both actor and character. This is not the forum for that so I'm off to rants in the season severed section.

Hi! I wonder why you felt uneasy about the words of Amber?

I indeed feel curious about her comment and hope we'll find out soon. Anyway, she's very warm and nice towards her fans and I tend to believe Michelle's nice too, according to fans who met her there. The only thing that disappoints me's the fact that Nick, Sarah, Alyson and Emma didn't attend this show. I thought Nick and Emma would go there(Sarah's in honeymoon! Alyson rarely does that). Still, I especially hoped to see Amber and Alyson. The duo's not seen in pics since the celebration of 100th Buffy.

Hello Kittens-



The reason I feel uneasy,strongwoman66, mostly comes from a feeling. There is no data to back it up but it comes down to an impression Ms Benson is swimming with sharks. What's pitched to get the actor to do the part and what ends up on screeen is rarely the same thing. It comes down to trusting anything ME has a hand in right now.



Right now I'm brassed off enough to be in the "make it the best last half season ever in the history of TV and I MIGHT buy the DVD at some point in the future" camp.

It seems that she has been confirmed as a guest at another Buffy convention in June 2003, which struck me as wierd seeing as how she's not...really...alive on the show. So why go to more Buffycons?

As for the everything being rectified comment, I'm hoping it means that Tara will return to the show alive and well. However, the realist in me translates the cryptic comment into meaning that Amber will not take a part in anything that would further hurt her fans. I am guessing that the role Joss had in mind for Amber this season had something to do with the shapeshirter/bigbad/first evil. I trust that Amber not to take part in anything like that, because SHE CARES. This is all just wild speculation on my part of course. Obviously only Joss and herself know the details.



The thing is, nothing can ever truly rectify the damage caused. Even if there were a complete reversal of season six, I can never bring myself to trust Joss and Co again. Things fall apart, they fall apart so hard and you can never put them back the way they were again... true words indeed. Even if Joss picks up the pieces, it will never be the way it was before. That being said, I would be estatic to have her back. Because I need Tara and I need W/T love. Thank heavens for pens and Amber's warm heart.

Sex always leads to bad things on Buffy. Angel turned evil, Willow turned evil, Tara got shot, Buffy ended up dating Riley...

Re: "rectified". There has been a lot of speculation about this comment over the past week or so, but I for one am choosing to not read anything into it at all. There's just so many different things that it could mean, and I don't want to get my hopes up again. So until I see Tara alive and well onscreen, I'm not gonna assume anything.



Plus, even if Joss himself did a press release right now saying that Tara was going to be resurrected, things can change during negotiations, script-writing, filming, etc. Remember when the ME party line was "Tara won't be back, but Amber will"? And now it looks like we won't even get Amber. My personal interpretation is that they were going to have the shapeshifter take on Tara's form, but didn't plan on Amber actually turning them down. (Although I certainly have no proof of this.)



Anyway, the point is, words can mean anything and I'll believe it when I see it.
