I’ve just seen the new issue of ‘Cult Times’ and there’s a doctored photo of Willow & Tara together in their news section. They’ve taken separate photos (the season 4 picture of Willow in the red top and the season 5 picture of Tara in the blue/grey outfit) and altered them to look as though they’re standing next to each other. It’s a pretty good picture, and if I hadn’t known that the Willow pic was a season 4 one, I would have taken it for official. I’ll try and scan it soon.
The only downer is, they're not kissing. Anyway, I thought it was an interesting solution to the lack of official pics featuring W/T together.

I put the pic in my Yahoo! photo album, which you can find here. If you're wondering why the caption says 'homosexual', it's because they used the pic to illustrate a news story about the Parents' Television Council report on 'Buffy', which was mentioned on this board a while back.
I'm getting quite good at this scanning thing...

Hey thanks a lot, that picture is very clever. If magazines are manipulating images to get a good quality picture of them together, the wb should get with it and shoot them together. I actually don't know who's responsible for the promotional pictures, but they better get their act together.
BTW, that is yet another Tara picture. It's one I haven't seen, it appears to be a sitting one.

This picture makes me to laugh. Amber looks dumbfounded and humorless, whereas Aly has this sweet, beaming smile. They look horribly mismatched next to each other with those conflicting expressions. The funniest part is the caption, though: "Willow and Tara, homosexual." How poetic.

It looks like some kind of anti-gay poster. I can imagine the small print on the poster wold be something like - 'look at this very sad young woman on the right. this is what happens when you fall into the evil trap of homosexuality. she was obviously lured into it by the grinning, red-haired temptress to her left. beware, children, beware.'

Your right Darin, they need to warn the world. I mean just think of the thousands and thousands of people that have already fallen under the spell of that grinning, red-haired temptress.

hey darvangi,
ROTFLOL to the max! the fact that they edited Aly's and Amber's pics 'together' is without a doubt cool.... but to put two opposing pics (smiling and not) is just way too weird lookin'.

thanks tyche for the pic! it made my night and day, with lol on the side...see my insides are having a blast! heh.heh. peace!

I can't get over that picture, the fact that it says "Willow & Tara: homosexuals" is so funny, I'm suprised it didn't say "Willow & Tara: satanic homosexuals...who wants to eat your children!!!"

As I explained, the caption was a quote from the report. The Parents’ Television Council report used the word ‘homosexual’ to describe Willow and Tara, so that’s why they used it as the caption. I think it’s quite interesting that they focused on that word: in context, it actually came across as a parody of the language the report uses, and of its attitudes.
