I don't know it this has been talked about, if so, a link would be great! Did anyone else think during the scene in family in which Tara's dad was in her room when she returned, magic became a metaphore for homophobia and her being a lesbian?
Pretty much; most metaphors go in at least two directions, and Mutant Enemy had been using magic as a metaphor for lesbian attraction since Willow and Tara first met.
