Jonathan came out in "There's Something About Mary," with Cameron Diaz, who's currently starring in "The Sweetest Thing" with Selma Blair, who came out with SMG in "Cruel Intentions," and of course she stars with Aly and Amber on BTVS.

Wow this was kind of fun...Mine goes way back, considering im probably one of the oldest if not the oldest poster amongst all the kittens Its also 7 degrees so i hope it counts Here goes, I met Sonny Bono at Harrahs in Reno back in the 70s when he and Cher were still together, Cher was in Moonstruck with Nicholas Cage, who was in The Rock with Ed Harris, who was in Stepmom with Julia Roberts, who was in Americas Sweethearts with Seth Green, who was of course Alys wolfman...

I met Mel Gibson when he was in Scotland shooting Hamlet, he starred in What Women Want with Helen Hunt, she was in Mad About You with Lisa Kudrow who is now in Friends, Bruce Willis made a guest appearance in Friends, he also starred in Blind Date with Kim Basinger, who was in My Stepmother is an Alien with Aly.



Phew! How many is that? Six I think. That's pretty cool actually....

All right, my turn-- My thesis advisor/teacher went to Washington with some academic thing during highschool, where she had dinner with Harrison Ford, who was in Air Force One with Robert Peters, who was in American Pie 2 with ALY!!! (that was off of the top of my head, so I'll bet I could do better... )

So this mushroom walks into a bar, and the bartender says "We don't serve your kind here"

2. I play the flute. So did Aly's character, Michelle Flaherty, in American Pie and American Pie 2. (And no, I don't play the flute quite like Michelle did. She has a... unique talent.)



3. I had relatives who were born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama, birthplace of Amber Benson.



4. My GF's grandfather was from Georgia. Aly is originally from Georgia.

I know this isn't strictly topical, but it is kinda. We were playing this in school today, and one of my friends (what a dumbass) said "okay, here's one, link the redhead in American Pie to that actress Rachel went to see this weekend" Obviously thinking no one had any idea who Amber is (even though I talk about her ALL the time) and it was like "Duh! They played GIRLFRIENDS thicksh*t" And about half my friends were like "What? When?" Its one of those things were you either laugh or cry.

Okay it took me a while to think of one and I think I'm pretty much cheating but oh well, it's sort of a connection.

So I was at the resort where they filmed part of What Dreams May Come and I saw Robin Williams from a distance. Robin Williams was in The Final Cut (hee I typed Cute the first time, that would've changed it) with Stephanie Romanov. Stephanie Romanov was on Angel which has several connections to Aly (she was on it, David and Charisma were on Buffy, whatever connection you want to make) and of course Aly was in Buffy, and I think/hope you guys can figure it out from there.

I'm so jealous of those of you who have actually met Amber! One degree of seperation, that's definately a position I'd like.

I've met many BtVS cast members at cons (including Amber, several times), so I'm not counting those.
