Had an unusual dream last night, tangential to Willow and Tara because Amber was mentioned and Joss appeared in it.
Apparently I was trying to find my way back to the offices of a previous employer who was holding an anime party. I get there and Joss was also invited. I casually introduce myself and he looks surprised, then starts touching my face on the cheeks, forehead and chin, exclaiming, "I've discovered you! I've discovered you!" Big laughs were had by all, including me.
Then we sat down to lunch at a long table, all sitting Japanese style on the floor. At the end of the table, an anime was being projected on the wall (don't remember what). During the discussion, somebody asks Joss if he'll be bringing any of the Buffy characters back in movies. He replies, "Willow maybe, unless I do the funny thing." With Iyari Limon retired from acting, people ask "Who will she end up with?" I and others immediately respond with, "Amber!"
He says "Oh yes, I love Amber," and he sounded genuine about it.
Then about that time, my wife's shower woke me up. Dern it, I wanted a commitment to hire Amber back and pay her lots of money!
Oh well. My fondest wish would be a "Willow and Tara" series or miniseries, but there's about negative bazillion percent of that happening. The world just doesn't seem ready for it.
