Yeah here in the San Franciso Bay Area the magazine is not on the shelves yet (i woulda said Out is not out yet but i already used that pun on HDC).

But when it does come ou-- uh, appear, I'll scan all the pics including the two that aren't up, and post them to my site.

Rereading the article (again ) and just struck by this quote:

The rest of the article is amazing, but wow...how great is this?? (And how different from TPTB at Xena seem to indicate that the subtext was something of a lark for them) Joss *so* gets it.

Anyone else wonder if this whole process of writing Willow coming out and dealing with the feedback, positive and negative, has radicalized Joss a bit? He seems to have become ever more committed to W/T. (I suppose he always was, but I'm hearing a lot of public statements lately)You think the intensity maybe caught him a bit by surprise?

I think the idea was always there in Joss's head. He just didn't realize it - Willow and Tara had to drag it out into the open for him by falling in love. And I've always thought Joss was a bit naive in that he always seemed surprised by the impact W/T was having.

Now, though, I think he gets it and he likes it.

It should be pointed out that Buffy and Angel were doomed by the suits at Fox and the WB, who decided that Angel should have his own show.

Also Buffy is the main character, and main characters always have tougher love lives than the sidekicks.

Add it all up, and I think - barring actor-bailage, of course - Willow and Tara will stay together, despite whatever obstacles Joss throws in their path along the way.

Cassie, you make an excellent point here, and don't despair about others not understanding your Willow/Tara obsession. You've come to the right place for understanding!

if we keep in mind that Joss said the following in the Out article:
"Her relationship with Tara will continue -- but the course of true love is never easy."

The first part of what he says about continuing the relationship has to mean something good. Of course, we don't know how their relationship will continue, but like Bob said, when you add it all up, I believe that Willow and Tara will be together for a very, very, long time. Their relationship will have it's share of bumps along the way.
Just like real life. Right.

Also, since Joss also said in the Out article that this Willow arc was the most important thing they've ever done on the show, I can't see them destroying it completely. They know the impact Willow & Tara are having on many fans. At the end of the day, I believe our girls will be just fine.

Thanks Judy, you deserve a rest now after all your typing for us sad deprived people!

The interview bloody rocked, how much do I love Aly, Amber and Joss, Aly makes me laugh so much, I loved her 'they were so fucking' comment, just re-iterates what we Kitties have always known right?

As for Joss calling it 'true love' yay! I know he's gonna make things rough for our girls, I mean lets face it we're talking about Joss here, the King of angst, you know he loves it. But I can cope with angst as long as ultimately they're still together, I've said it before and I'll no doubt say it again but look at Tough Love, I found it almost impossible to watch, but look how much good came from it, Willow couldn't have done more to prove her love for Tara.

We know that Joss loves W+T and he is clearly aware of the positive impact their relationship has had and yeah he'll hurt them and yeah it'll be hard for us to watch, but ultimately I do believe that barring any sudden departures, they'll still be together for as long as the show runs!

(Now if Joss would just give Amber full regular status, we'd all sleep sounder in our beds, right?)
