I must have the cardboard figures for my pleasure...wait, I mean, my desk at work. Seriously, those are pretty cool. And I know that I could just print pics from the web on thick paper and make my own, but I want THOSE cut outs, wahhhh! How do I get them?

Well, I was trying to resist, but today I went into a comic shop for the first time in god knows how many years, and bought the Buffy comic. There was only one left! I felt extremely glad that I had got to it in time.

*LOL*. Seriously, I was very impressed with all the W/T stuff. Must look into getting some back issues.

OK, now I have some questions:
1. Is the comic series still set in S4?
2. Who is Rebecca? Someone Giles is dating?
3. Do the comics only come out once a month?? I read this one in about 15 minutes, if I got addicted, I'd need one at least once a week!

Fortunately, Dark Horse has been putting together collections of all the Buffy and Angel issues pretty regularly.

1.) Right now, the series is in the summer between S4 and S5. The comics started including Tara at Buffy #31, when the comic caught up the series.

Buffy #33 is the third part of a 4 parter.

For completists, Lover's Walk and WBB have the only other Tara appearances in the titles.

The next story arc, starting at #35, is all about Dawn. They are going to tell the retrofitted stories about where she was in the previous four seasons of Buffy.

2, Rebecca is Giles' victim of the, I mean date of this story. Sorry, but there is history in the comics of Giles gfs coming to bad ends. She was in #31 and #32

3. Sorry, the average comic in the US is a monthly 22 page full-color title. Yes, it sucks. Why, in Japan, they have weekly 200-300 page comic books.

However, in a way, there will be a Buffyverse title out every week. Joss Whedon will be writing Angel and Fray, an eight issue limited series starting soon. There is Buffy, and soon there will be an Oz limited series.

I noticed on the dark horse site about the Oz comics. Great idea. Thinking back, I kind of feel like Tara has so much more of a backstory than he ever had.

Well, since the most current issue is #33, if you got #29 onwards of Buffy, along with the Angel #16, and the Amber Benson W/T comic special of course, that would cover it, right ?

Sorry wolliw. Since it was just such small scenes, and well, possibly from the whole Willow and Tara are just good friends stage of denial, my mind rebelled and hit the mental delete button.

Remember to add in Lover's Walk special, it has a Willow and Tara story in it which the writer intended to be less denial, but he got slapped down by licensing.
