But when approximately is Willow's birthday? Is she older or younger than Tara? Just curious.
[/quote:c826db2bf9]

Well, Family first aired in 2000 and Tara turned twenty in the show, so she was born in 1980. And according to the UPN character bio page, Willow was born in 1982. So based on that info, Will is younger.

Hey guys,

I feel really kinda, stupid and embarrassed for having to ask this question, but... here goes.

Is there a specific term to describe the adam's apple in a woman? I know men have adam's apples, but what is the term for a woman, or would it be the same?

I have a reason for asking this and it has to do with my fic, so I'm hoping someone can help me out here.

Thanks in advance,
Jen

From what I've read, 'Adam's apple' is the same term for it in a woman. The outer part of the voice box, or larynx, is called the Adam's apple. Women have one, too, but a man's Adam's apple is at a sharper angle and the muscles are larger, thus it's seen more easily.

Hope that helps. :)

Thank you, Scout. I know it's more prominent for men, I just wanted to make sure of the terminology before I used it in my fic. I didn't want make a fool out of myself. :shy

I was just looking through some Amber pics and this one caught my attention: [img:87f150de6b]http://images2.wireimage.com/images/thumbnail/867878.jpg[/img:87f150de6b]

Serves its purpose for the question to begin with. :)

Thanks again. :kiss

Okay...here goes-

Female: Witch or Sorceress
Male: Warlock or Sorcerer

So what's the difference between a witch/warlock and sorceress/sorcerer (without regards to female or male)?

Did that make sense?

I was wondering...does anyone know if this address:

Amber Benson
c/o Buffy the Vampire Slayer
c/o UPN
11800 Wilshire Blvd
Los Angeles, CA 90025

the one that Amber is still getting fanmail at or is there another one that we can write to her at? Thanks so much guys. I know it's a stupid question but it's been bugging me for awhile.

Peace,

Thanks a lot

@Nation, on the difference between witch and sorceress.

I'm not sure there is an actual difference. Sorceress sounds kinda like the french word "sorciere", which itself would be translated in "witch" in English.

Therefore one can assume that sorceress and witch refers to the same category of magic users, on word being from latin origin, the other of :hmm well, you know, that other old language from which most English comes from (can't remember its name).

calicat, first of all, you'll be ok.. but you might find a better answer if you post in the The Lesbian/Gay/Bi/Trans/Questioning/Issues Thread The kittens that visit (& lurk) there are the best at answering your question. Also, if you read through some of the posts, you may see that you aren't the only one who has had this challenge.

Good Luck.

Postby AlteaThree » Sun Mar 02, 2003 4:02 pm

This isnt a serious question, it has to do with the Kitten board technically...whenever I log of off the Kittens and Witches, I get a Windows pop-up which says
[quote:595074ed0d]Quote:
"problems with this webpage might prevent it from being displayed properly or from functioning properly. In the future, you can display this message by double-clicking on the the warning icon on the status bar" with an option of "always display this message when a page contains errors"
[/quote:595074ed0d]

I get this on other indie pages on the net, and sometimes corprate sites too. What does this mean??? I have windows 98, a two-year-old computer and whatever was the IE standard in late 2001. I know this isnt a g/l/b issue, or an Alyson or Amber issue, but it does happen whenever I log off of the Kittenboard so I wasnt too sure where else to ask this. :confused

Generally, that means that the script written to show the pages is missing something. There usually isn't anything wrong with the page, just something tiny scriptwise that makes microsoft angry. No worries.

Now, my question is about the "can you just be kissing me now" scene and Willow's bedroom in general in Seeing Red:

Is that Willow's Once More With Feeling dress on the door of her room? Because it looks to me like it is, but I haven't been able to find a good picture to compare. . . If it is, do you think they're using funny imagery, or that they just felt like putting the dress there?

sprhrgrl, I am not sure about Seeing Red, but you can see it clearly in Entropy. It is the same dress.

toni, I have no idea either way. I would imagine they would pass it on but there is no way to know. If I get a chance I will ask in june.

AlteaThree, I worry only because that's my customized log out page. I am sure there is something wrong code wise. I don't get the error message though on IE or mozilla. If anyone else gets it, I'd like to know, thanks!

Xita, in replying to AltheaThree about logging out... I've noticed for me the past two days receiving the message "A Runtime Error has occurred Do you wish to debug? Line 39 Error: 'SymReel Winopen' is undefined". I have no idea if this in relation to AltheaThree's problem, or it's my computer (I use IE), but I thought I mention it. Also whether I answer yes or no to the debug question, the function doesn't work (ie it takes about 4 or 5 times of hitting yes or no, before I can successfully log out... not to mention being able to leave the actual log out page).

Anyone else getting weirdness with the ezboard chat?

It says there's people chatting, but when I go in, nothing, no-one home. Is it me?

Ok, so strictly speaking I'm supposed to be working now, but I'm bored!

The ezchat does that all the time. Sometimes it will say 0 people chatting but there are some in there and like you saw, it says there are people in there when no one is in there.

Usually if you hang around long enough someone else will come in. :)

Hey guys,

Mods, if this is in the wrong place, please feel free to move it. I was just wondering about this book: Ugly Little Monsters is in the Buffy series. It has Buffy/Willow/Tara on the cover. This isn't the new paperback that is being released, is it?

If not, does anyone know what this book is about or if it's worth buying?

Thanks in advance,
Jen

Jennpurr - Ugly Little Monsters is a 3 part story in the Buffy comic series (#40, 41, and 42). They are really W/T centric, and I actually enjoyed them as much, if not a lil' more, than the Wilderness series because they have great Scooby interaction as well as fantasticly yummy W/T goodness. The basic premise is that Tara feels jealous of Willows friendship with Buffy. I'd defiantly recommend reading them, and I was able to find my copies at www.tfaw.com.
