..maybe the person who's selling it on EBAY has a subscription (subscribers get magazines a little earlier don't they!?) & they figure they can make some money off selling it on EBAY when it's not on the stands yet (although by the time it reaches the buyer it's bound to be out!) & that they can get another copy later & make a killing on this one! *shrug*

About the kiss thing, I kind of understood that to mean that they tried the kiss and Joss thought it was too steamy, so they had to tone it down for what we saw onscreen.

That's how I see it to, which is why I love the quote so much. Alyson and Amber was doing it way to steamy and hot as first so Joss had to get them to do it another way. At least that is how I imagine it in my head so. and

I don't know about Amsterdam, but here in Groningen are a lot of good bookshops I could check, and I'll use my OV-travelcard to check the American Bookstore in Amsterdam. Hopefully they have it. Otherwise, I'm going to try and order it at the local bookstore. Then I only need to get the ISBN number.

I got my sweaty little paws on the August OUT with Aly on the cover today. My friend is about to come over so I can't write much but will say this:

-The pics are more spectacular in print.
-Alyson and Joss come off as supportive and sweet. They closed the article with Aly saying that a woman came up to her in a grocery store to say that she's a lesbian and the show has done so much for her. Aly said that she couldn't ask for anything nicer.
-Joss said that a bunch of people have said that W/T has changed their lives. He always wants to put out good role models. His motivation was not to make gay teens comfortable with themselves but in the end he has been overwhelmed by the positive and wonderful response and it's one of the most important things they've done on the show.

-According to Joss Buffy will be back and Willow will have something to do with it. Plus Willow's magical powers will grow even stronger next season. And that "shit's going to go down." We're going to see more "strength" in Willow. Willow's relationship with Tara will continue BUT "the course of true love is never easy." Plus, OUT says what Wanda reported about Tara singing a love song to Will in the musical ep.

-Willow won't be gay on the cartoon but there will be some hidden subtextual jokes, like Willow says she'll have the "tuna platter."
-Aly never had apprehensions about Willow's sexual journey, says it's been part of her environment and life and her mom had a gay best friend.
-Funny quote from Aly, "Obviously during a couple of spells they were SO fucking."

OMG - I almost peed in my pants reading that Aly quote "they were SO fucking." She is awesome. Thanks so much, Judy, for the info - now I'm dying to get a hold of this damn magazine. It's great that Joss is aware of how much of a positive influence W/T has had. I think that Mr. 'I don't want to make a political statement with this relationship' might just be a big queer-friendly softie after all (well, I guess I knew he was before but this just brings it home). Next season is going to rock harder than an avalanche - I can feel the big W/T action coming on now. I love Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I love my queer little tv show.
