still, it it awesome to see them kiss in the comic.

and what is up with the flies? they're always swarming. its bizarre.

The artist in it has Tara's build too slight when compared to their build's on the show and in WBB. New artist team, so I figure it will take him a bit to work out the kinks.

The flies? Plot point connected to the Big Bad of the issue.

*grin* Yep, picked it up along with Strangers in Paradise #40, and I am quite a happy camper. Though I must say I am quite spoiled by WBB and by my addiction to Terry Moore's artwork, and now no comic rendition of our two girls is quite as satisfying to me as Terry's.

Remind me never to pick up a single issue of a comic in the middle of an ongoing story, though, 'cause aside from the W/T scenes, I was like . . .

I just noticed this, but I love how the W/T kiss-dominated page is opposite the Willow and Tara comic ad. Wonderfully logical placement =p
No way I'd miss that ad...they knew folks like us would spend lengthy amounts of time with that page open heehee.

I was the same way. After I spent five minutes in the car with the motor idling and the A/C full blast (my god it's hot in Northridge today!) just staring at that panel, I managed to avert my eyes . . .

. . . only to have said eyes alight on Terry Moore's deliciously drawn cover for WBB on the opposite page. That was niiiiiiice.

Still prefer Terry's rendition of W/T though.

Sort answer, yes.

Every issue of Buffy, Angel and their spin off titles have an art cover, and a photo cover.

I always get the art cover, since the photo covers are always from promo and/or archive photos, so they seem about as lively and interesting, as well, Riley.

Actually, kittens, do any of you read SUPERGIRL? Peter David (the writer) gets so much crap about the current storyline being eerily similar to Season 5 "Buffy" - even though his stuff is written MONTHS before publication, so maybe Joss is ripping off Peter?
