It's "I gotta pay my bills" Thursday

Hi one and all.. It's the first of the month, and a Thursday so the work week is almost over (yay), but I've got a bunch of bills due today (like my water, sewage and cell phone bills.. ugh. They make you pay from bringing the water in and then they make you pay for taking the water away when you are done with. How unfair is that?)

So, what bills do you guys have to pay today

today is bill day for me too I have rent, water, electric, gas, and cable. I am sooo broke now. I am glad I don't have to pay for sewage....what's up with that?

Eek. Everything for me is due today, so let's see, that would be....

Mortgage, gas, electricity, sewage, water, car payment, insurance, auto fuel.

Phone, cable, newspaper subscription. Payment on washing machine. Payment on computer. Credit card. Student loan. Public radio.

Oh yes, and the Kitten Charity Fund. I almost forgot.

Ooh yeah. Phone and rent need to be paid today. At least the good thing about being a student is that you get to live in university housing where you don't need to pay for most of your utilities. But of course the bad thing about being a student is that it has to be that way because you're always broke.

Well... I had registration at school today and I had to pay for that... Parking, locker, yearbook, missing library books. Heh. I was broke as a joke after all that, but I did find enough change in my car to get an italian cream soda. Little things like that make me smile.

Oh my god, you're frightening me... That's the kinda thing i forget about when i think about next year. For the moment, the only bill i've to pay is the one of my mobile phone, but since i'm graduating in september, i guess that after that, i'll find a job, and well, i'll have some more bills to pay... Aaaargh, i'm so always broken, how am i gonna do when i'll also have the bills to pay?

At least, here, we don't get that sewage bill... Where does that come from anyway?

Well I had to do loads of overtime last week to help me pay off some of my credit card bill, which I did today. Also had to pay for my bus ticket for the next month which works out at 120. And I owed my friend money for a concert ticket she got for me, so I paid that as well.

Its payday, and already I feel broke!

grumbly car insurance. yeah, i shouldnt complain cuz its only one bill, but i'm uberbroke. plus the whole concept irks me.... not that i'm communist. ugh. just, like, i'd be more entertained by a barter economy........(yes i recognize the fruitlessness of my brainwaves..)

on a brighter note, we've just gotten a raise, so that our graduate stipend is now paying us slightly better than slave wages

Oh yesssssss bills! Bugger them all. I get paid once a month and I pay everything at the beginning of the month and limp along till the end of the month. Very fun. Not. I've got the usual, mortgage, car payment, cell phone, 1000 in various Internet expenses (that's a joke... barely), PGE (bastards!), and an assortment of pretty colored credit cards. Much fun!

Gaaahhh!!! You gals are scaring me with all this crazy bill talk. I'm moving into my own apartment in a couple of weeks and starting in September I'm going to be paying my very first bills. One of the not so perky parts of growing up I suppose. Hmmmm, speaking of perky... ok wait, I'm not gonna go there.

Anyway, thanks to this thread I'm sure to enjoy some new "ahh!! I forgot to pay the bills and now I have no heat/light/CABLE!!! (i.e. Buffy)" nightmares.

Oh well, who needs sleep. I am a mature, adult-type person who can stay up all night....

added to the monthly insults this time is school starting again (fees went up how much?!) and two weeks ago my car had to have a $731.00 cure (transmission sensor, valve switch some unknown mechanical thing?) So we're now officially on the fritos and diet coke diet for the foreseeable future.


Car update (8/12) Now its the brakes ($276.00)!
