Story: When the Goddess Calls

Feeling much love. Hugs for all. The story's conclusion was never in doubt, but I was feeling a little murky. Wrote happy one shot. Feel Better.

Pixie, sorry for spilling my beer on you. I'll offer to either a) Pay for dry cleaning or b) clean it off not so dryly

Bobo’s Mom,
I didn’t find this that dark yet. Dealing with a loved one’s death, especially at their age can’t be easy, but there is something reassuring in the naturalness of it. No one lives forever and there does come a time when death is welcome. I still really like Dr. Russel and how you have used her in this.
I also still like Spike’s role and loyalty. It should be interesting to see where you are going from here. I think that most of your tense problems have been overcome too.

I am with Garner here. Your writting is improving (and I can tell because it was always better than mine!).

There is a, comfort, in this story because despite the inevitble end we can say, "look, they had a long and happy life together." and I think that is the way it should be.

I think the saddest part of this whole thing is that there will be a time, maybe very brief, that they won't be together.
That is something I worry about a lot with my own wife.

But as we all know, they will always find each other.

Warlock.

*sniff*

Uhm, "good" update doesn't sound right. I mean, it was good ... but it was also so very, very sad.

One *leetle* thing ... "dieing" shoud be "dying."

Hey,

I'm moved by the feedback to this story. Some of the thoughtful comments have made me want to raise the level of my writing; the writer's tone should match the soulfulness of her readers. I've taken a week off from this story, but will work on an update soon.

The spoiler thread has taken up too much of my attention, and I think it's time to get back to a little self distraction.

Thanks again for reading-

Yeah it does help doesn't it... been distracted with writing until recently so I have not got around to this (and many other fics) Frankly it is pretty damn fine - to coin a phrase. I like...
