Summary: A spell goes wrong and Willow from season six (WS6) switches reality with Willow from season 3 (WS3). So keep in mind both Willow’s still look like the Willow from their prospective seasons yet they are in different bodies. Do I make sense?
Notes- Dont know why i'm in this kick were Scoobs are in different realities. I'm sure i've gotten some plot points wrong from the other seasons but just go with it.
Contains no spoilers I can think of.

We find the Scoobs in the end of a battle with a demon during Season 3. Willow was apparently knocked to the ground.
Willow- (on the ground, eyes closed) Ow.
Oz- (holding her head and caressing her cheek) Come back to me.
Xander- (walks over concerned) Is she ok?
Willow- (coming to) Oz?
Oz- (smiles at her lovingly) Hey.
Willow- (confused) Huh? Where- Where’s Tara?
Buffy- Who?
Oz- Baby, you hit your head. (trying to help her up)
W- What? (gets away from his grasp) Oz, no.
Oz- What’s wrong?
Willow- What are you doing here? What- Oh my head.
Buffy- Next time no majicks, Will. You’re not ready for that.
Oz- Yeah, I don’t like watching you fly.
Xander- At least the demon’s gone. Where did he go anyhow?

Meanwhile in Season 6…
Tara- (running over to Willow on the ground) Willow!
Xander- Is she ok?
Willow- (coming to) Did it work?
Xander- One dead demon.
Willow- Oh, good. My head…. (confused, sees Tara holding on to her) Huh? Who- Who are you?
Anya- She’s got amnesia!
Willow- I do not! (sees them all) Where’s Oz?
Buffy- Oz?
Anya- See, amnesia.
Willow- Buffy?
Buffy- Are you ok?
Willow- I do not have amnesia. I’m- (looks at Tara) Uh. (to Xander) Where’s Oz?

Buffy- Will, I don’t know who this Tara person is.
Willow- (walking along with the gang) Of course you do. She’s my girlfriend.
Oz- That’s one radical concussion.
Willow- (looks to Oz, again confused) What? No. This isn’t funny. When did you get back?
Oz- Back?
Xander- I think lil’ Will here needs her pillow.
Oz- I am her pillow.
Xander- I meant another kinda pillow.

This gang too is walking away from the cemetery. Tara and Anya walk behind as Xander and Buffy help Willow.
Tara- She doesn’t know who I am.
Anya- (notices Tara’s stricken face) It’s amnesia, I’ve seen it before.
Tara- No. Willow… This Willow isn’t mine. They’re not the same.
Anya- You lost me.

Willow- Oz- Oh crap.
Oz- Thanks, I guess.
Willow- No, I mean… What year is this?
Buffy- What?
Willow- Are we still in high school?
Oz- Yes, even me.
Willow- Senior year?! Oh no! The mayor!
Buffy- What about him?
Willow- Has he ascended?
Xander- Say wha?

Tara- I think the spell went wrong.
Anya- Well I don’t think she was supposed to fly back and hit her head on the wall if that’s what you mean.
Tara- no I mean there must have been some sort of temporal fold. They’ve switched.
Anya- How can you tell.
Tara- I just can.
Willow- (reaching the Summers home) What are we doing here?
Buffy- We’re home.
Willow- No. I live a couple of blocks down.
Tara- (calls out) Buffy.
Buffy- Yeah?
Tara- I… (looking at Willow not recognizing her stops her)
Anya- This is not our Willow.
Willow- I am too!
Anya- No, you’re not. There’s been some sort of temporal fold. She and your Willow switched realities.
Buffy- Wuh?
Willow- What?!
Anya- Well, do you know who she is? (points to Tara)
Willow- (busted) No, but I hardly know you.
Xander- Will, this is your girlfriend. You and Tara have been dating for two years.
Willow- Have not! I don’t have a girlfriend. I’m going out with Oz. (to Tara) No offense, you’re very pretty and all but- Buffy?
Buffy- I- I…
Tara- We need Giles.

Giles- Ascencion?
Willow- Look I don’t know how much I can tell you. I don’t want to screw up my future.
Oz- But if you’re from some other reality-
Buffy- It wouldn’t matter.
Willow- I’m not positive. I mean this could be all “Peggy Sue Got Married” but it could be “Back to the Future” as well. And I don’t want to disappear from the picture. I want to be with Tara and Miss Kitty and-
Oz- I’m kinda still in the room here.
Xander- Miss Kitty?
Willow- Oz, I’m so sorry.
Oz- Don’t. (walks off)
Buffy- Will, what you’re saying-
Willow- I’m not lying.

Giles- So how can we switch them back?
Tara- It’s that alternate reality crutch again.
Willow- Huh?
Tara- (sensitively) We wouldn’t know where you’re being sent to. You could end up in a world full of frogs.
Willow- No!
Tara- Exactly.
Willow- (curious) How do you know I hate frogs?
Xander- (smiling sheepishly) She knows a lot more than that, Will. Lots. (off Anya’s look) Shutting up now.

Willow- Ok, it must have been a temporal fold.
Xander- A what?
Willow- A fold in time. Like when evil, skanky me crossed over? (off their looks) Uh, I guess it hasn’t happened yet huh?
Buffy- What are you talking about?
Willow- Nothing. What spell was I performing?
Buffy- Um, demon banishment. I think. I still don’t understand Latin very well.
Willow- And Tara and I were doing one too.
Giles- A spell?
Willow- Yes.
Xander- She’s a witch?
Willow- (nods) Maybe I teleported myself here with the demon. No but he’s no longer here. Maybe it was just me.
Oz- So, my Willow is over there?
X- (to Willow) Wait, then this Tara girl may think-
Willow- No, she’ll know me isn’t me. Or that I’m not me. Or I am me but that’s not me.

Buffy- Is there any way you can contact Willow?
Tara- I can try.
Willow- (still confused) Uh, I’m right here.
Buffy- Oh, I meant our Willow. Not that you aren’t our Willow cause you are. It’s just-
Willow- I understand.
Anya- It’s an extremely tricky spell. You need an anchor. And a quiet place.
Tara- The training room.
Buffy- Ok, let’s go for it.
Willow- Go for what? What are we doing? Training room? What about the library. It’s very quiet there.
Buffy- Long story.
Willow- What are we doing?
Tara- Nether realm.
Willow- Wow, advanced. I can’t do that.
Tara- Not yet.
Buffy, Tara and Anya walk ahead. Willow hangs back with Xander.
Buffy- (to Tara) So you think Willow knows?
Tara- Xander kinda blurted it out to her that she’s gay now.
Buffy- I meant about the switcharoo. Our Willow.
Tara- Oh. Yes. Well, this Willow woke up asking for Oz.
Buffy- Ours probably asked for you.
Tara- Maybe.
Buffy- I’m sure of it.
Willow turns to Xander.
Willow- Xander?
Xadner- Yeah?
Willow- Where’s Oz?
Xander- Um, not here.
Willow- I see that. Where is he?
Xander- (sadly) I don’t know, Will.
Willow- Am I really- (looks over to Tara)
Xander- Yeah.
Willow- I don’t understand.
Xadner- No one understand love. It just happens.
Willow- But… Oz…

Willow walks over to a pensive Oz.
Willow- Oz. I need to explain.
Oz- No need. I’m not worried. Look alternate realities are just that. Doesn’t mean I’m not meant to be with you in this one. The other you.
Willow- I love you, Oz. I always will.
Oz- I know.

In the shop.
Anya- I’ll get the ingredients. (Xander goes to help her)
Willow- Giles owns this?
Buffy- Yeah.
Willow notices that Tara is sitting alone on the table. She looks a bit lost.
Willow- (to Buffy) I’ll be right back.
She walks over to Tara.
Willow- You ok?
Tara- I s-should be asking you that. It’s kinda w-weird.
Willow- Yeah… Look, I’m sorry about-
Tara- It- it’s ok.
Willow No, I-
Tara- Willow.
Willow- Huh?
Tara- I understand.
Willow- (nods) So…

Giles- Aha!
Buffy- What?
Giles- I’ve looked over the spell Willow chanted. If this certain word was mispronounced-
Buffy- She goes bye bye?
Giles- Yes.
Buffy- How can we bring our Willow back?
Willow- (walking over) I can try to contact Tara. I’m sure she’s figured out this mix up already and is working on a spell.
Oz- Smart girl.
Willow- (smiles) She is. (looks at them all) I need someplace quiet. The Magic Box!
Buffy- Magic wha?
Willow- Uh, you have no idea what I am talking about do you?
Buffy- No.
Willow- Well, Tara knows. She’ll try to contact me from the training room at the shop.
Buffy- Training room?
Giles- Shop?
Willow- Long story. Come on.

Anya- All is set in there.
Tara- Here we go.
Willow- Tara?
Tara- Yes?
Willow- Thank you.
Tara- (nods) I just want my Willow back. Just like you want to be back with Oz.
Willow- (touched) Thanks… (as they are walking to the training room) So, I’m a bad assed Wicca in this reality?

Willow and the gang go to the Magic Box and Willow does a spell to open the lock. They enter the closed shop.
Buffy- I don’t understand. Giles owns this?
Willow- Yeah.
Giles- This doesn’t seem very legal.
Willow- But you do.
Giles- I meant the breaking and entering.
Oz- She’s a rebel. What can I say? It’s fun.

Tara- Willow, come in the circle with me.
Willow- Why?
Tara- I’m going to send you to the realm, I’ll anchor you. When you find Willow- Uh, the other Willow-
Willow- (smiles) Your Willow.
Tara- (smiles back) Yes.
Willow- Don’t worry. I’ll tell her to come home.
Tara- Chant it.
Willow- (giggles) Ok.

Buffy- Are you sure you know what you’re doing?
Willow- Yes. Tara and I do it all the time.
Giles- Nether realm spells, Willow. They are quite- uh-
Willow- (grinning) Orgasmic.
Buffy’s eyes bulge out as does Xanders’. Oz smirks.
Giles- I-I-I was going to say advanced.
Xander- (whispers to Oz) I’d like to learn that nether realm stuff.
Willow- Tara will be on the other side. I’m sure of it. She’s probably waiting for me.
Oz- Are you sure this will work?
Willow- I’m positive.
Oz- You trust her don’t you?
Willow- With my life.
Giles- Need you an anchor?
Oz- I’ll do it. Um, what’s an anchor?
Willow- Sit with me and hold my hands.
Oz- With pleasure.
Xander- No fair! I wanna anchor Willow! (off Buffy’s look) And that sounded gross bad, huh?

Nether Realm.
WS6- Hi.
WS3- (nervously) It worked.
WS6- (smiling at her own innocence) Yeah.
WS3- Um…
WS6- So…
WS3- Tara. She seems nice.
WS6- She’s amazing.
WS3- But I don’t understand. You’re me and I’m not- I mean, I don’t think I am.
WS6- Don’t worry. Different realities are just that.
WS3- Smart.
WS6- Tell that to Oz. He’s the one that pointed it out to me.
WS3- I miss him.
WS6- He’s waiting for you.
WS3- So is Tara.
WS6- I know.
WS3- So, I guess, see ya?
WS6- (smiles) Bye.
Both begin to chant their way back home.

Willow returns to her body.
Tara- Will?
Willow- Tare Bear?! (hugs her tight) Oh god! I thought I lost you!
Tara- (kisses her through happy tears) Don’t want to be unoriginal but I’ll always find you too.

Oz- Willow?
Willow- Oz?
Oz- Hey you.
Willow- (crying smile) I love you.
Oz- I love you too.
Off to the side-
Xander- (smiling goofily) So, this Tara- will we meet her in this reality too?
Buffy- Shut it.
