eh, if you say so...

But seriously, to answer (or a try to) about the coloring used... It's all just about trying to be resourceful with Photoshop. This drawing was, just like those cute ones of TwilightJoy, just a black-and-white pencil-drawing. Colored with a soft paint-brush on multiply. And, a helpful detail, the usage of the history-brush as an eraser.
And Layers, use lots of them
