Some folks believe Santa Barbara is the geographical inspiration for Sunndale; a couple hours' drive north of LA, coastal town, UC campus, the proximity of Michael Jackson's Neverland Ranch...

I'm from Santa Barbara...and can I say that a few times I've actually watched Buffy and thought...are they shooting this here???

Metro Comics was THE ONLY comic Book Store to go to in the city...and I haunted it every weekend...

Now I live in LA and I miss my SB so very much....*sigh* and my Metro even more.... It's where I met Mark Snow...and Chris Carter... (pre-buffy fandom) But almost every Buffy persona has been there...and now I'm kicking myself for not going when they were there.....

I wonder how long a drive it is from PA to california? I just may be carzy enough to drive this if I can get the funds. I want to meet Amber, she seems so awesome! It worth 2 weeks of my time! Being currently laid off i would'nt have to worry about taking any time off!!
