Hey, I was watching TRL when Carson announced that instead of TRL on Monday
(Jan.21), Alyson Hannigan and Ananda Lewis will host a show called "Chicks
Who Kick Ass" There's the info from the TRL site:
Tune in to 'Ass-Kicking Chicks' on January 21 at 3:30 p.m. ET for a two-hour
countdown of videos from the 20 baddest, toughest female artists around.
Hope that helps
While she only has a small part she does have a cute southern accent which she does pretty well.
I'd hate to miss this.

About that movie...I think it's also known as Indecent Seduction. (It's that movie with a teacher who starts an affair with one of his students, right?)

Why settle for caps and text when you can watch the real thing? According to tvguide.com, the program entitled "Total Request Live: A. Kicking Chicks" will be played the following times, CST (if you're on the east coast, add an hour ... west coast, subtract 2):
Mon 21 2:30 PM
Wed 23 7:00 AM
Thu 24 12:00 PM
Thu 24 6:00 PM
Sat 26 6:00 AM
Sun 27 6:00 AM
Edited because message board software mangles ul and li tags.

I just saw Aly on a movie on Lifetime "movie of the week" kind of movie with Gary Cole, Sara Rue (from Popular), and a girl who looks kind of like Juliette Lewis. The movie is called "for my daughter's honor."While she only has a small part she does have a cute southern accent which she does pretty well.
I saw that movie too. She kinda looked Willowish, at least maybe from the early seasons. Just my opinion though.
------------------
Willow: Where would you go? If you felt lost and alone? Where would you go?
Tara: To you.
**Deleted scene from Bloodties
One thing that I found very interesting (as I think it may have been one of the few unscripted moments) was when they were discussing the intelligence of one of the artists. Aly commented that she had gotten 1580 on her SAT's and the other woman said she had scored 780. If that's actually true, Aly rocked on that test. That's darn near perfect. Willow would have been proud. I'm curious whether other's who saw this read that exchange the same way I did. Anyone?
Although she of course exuded the cuteness and adorableness we have come to expect, I was disappointed. She was only onscreen for about ten minutes (out of 2 hours!). And during her screen time she was obliged to engage in obviously scripted "banter" that even her formidable skills as an actress couldn't force into an impression of spontaneity.
I am no doubt giving away my age in asking this, but why would anyone want to watch this show? It seems to be mostly videos interrupted by endless commercials. This is entertainment??

Alyson (proudly): I gotta a 1580.
Ananda (sweetly sarcastic): Great, Alyson. I gotta 780.
I have no idea if she was telling the truth or just joking around, 'cause that's a pretty damn high score and Aly kind of nudged Ananda with her shoulder after she said it, like, "I'm just messing with you."
As for the show, it was pretty awful. I mean, if those are the 20 most "Ass Kicking Chicks" around, well, it really is the end of the world. Has anyone else noticed that music has done a time-warp and it's like it's 1988 again or something? Everything is overproduced and all the "stars" front studio bands. Hardly any of the women featured on this list play an instrument. Most of them are just "sexy" with marginal, thin voices. Whatever. The only woman who really deserved to be on the list was Madonna. Everyone else was a cookie-cutter, bubble-gum slut.
Give me a chick with a guitar ANY day.
Oh, well. Aly was cute, though she's just going to have to start refusing to appear on MTV unless they start letting her choose the music!
