Actually have to bail in a min, need sleep. But I did see the ABC mention -- I
didn't love the sexual reference, clever though it was. I'm overprotective. Finding
out that EDWARD GOREY was a Buffy fan, now that made my life. Anyhoo, I just
wanted to say hey and yes that was Anne, and yes she had the huge tat removed
cuz she's independent now. Which I love. The strength she's gained over her
incredibly spread out arc... it's what the shows are all about. And Julia is a
sweetie. She'll be back. (Though working with Julie, Julia and Juliet was kind of a
strain).

As to the show being ruined if it went to FOX (Which I doubt it would), well the
head of the Fox network is Gail Berman, who did come up with the idea of
making Buffy into a TV show... I don't poke my head into the business world too
much. All I care about is making the show. And naked stuff.

Okay, bedtime. Last things: My next ep starts shooting tomorrow, is 16. Another
interesting challenge for me. And yes, I'm co-scripting the Angel comic with Brett
Matthews for a four ish arc, set it in a slightly different direction. Plus FRAY (i'm
behind on ish 3) and the whole staff (minus Marti but plus Amber!) is doing a
compilation called Tales of the Slayers, each writer doing a Slayer from a
different era, and Dark horse is hooking us up with some SERIOUS artists.
Comics are fun but now I have to sleep and then run two shows. Remember that
each and every one of you is special, except the people from Clambentown, you
all stink.

I love that she is becoming such a big part of the world of Buffy.

My god, she's writing another comic! AMber is writing another comic. The whole staff is doing one comic, plus amber. Who thinks she might write an ep in the future. It's looking like Bob might be right about that. She is most loved.

This is exciting. I don't think that girl is going anywhere.

I went by the Bronze PB to check out the posts made while Joss was there and i found myself really feeling sorry for the guy. I mean, here's this brilliant, creative guy who must have been hoping for some interesting, insightful feedback about an episode he must feel really proud of. After all, it's very much a 'Joss' episode, full of his ideas even if he didn't write it, and critical to the season's plot and character arcs. (Buffy talks to Glory! Buffy trumps the Council! W/T say the "L" word! Joyce bonds with Spike over 'Passions'!)

What's he get instead? Well, needless to say (it's the Bronze, after all) the conversation was less than scintillating. No one had a single thing of value or intelligence to contribute. It just made me sad. I wonder if he has time to surf for cool places like the kitten board where people actually appreciate what he's doing and have some interesting things to say about it.

I think it's obvious that Joss doesn't get much out of going there anymore. It's been so long since he posted. Wasn't it when he finished family? The negativity there is turning everyone off. No one visits anymore. What a shame.

wow, this is totally awsome news! as xita said, i don't think amber is going anywhere...she's very involved in the show now and in all things BtVS. hell yeah do i want to see her write an ep! what sort of ep do you think she'd write if she wrote one?
a funny one? an action-focused one? a dramatic one? would w/t be featured heavily, or is our amber too modest and wouldn't want it to seem like she wrote the script to give herself more screentime?

personally, i hope that whatever she writes involves willow and tara interacting with buffy together. maybe they perfect a cool spell that helps her out.

and how much does joss love amber? he mentions her practically every time he talks about BtVS...

I'd love to see Amber write an episode. It would be great to see what she would do to the Willow/Tara storyline.

If Joss isn't aware of The Kitten Board is there any any we could let him know. I'm sure he'd love it here.

Amber visited us once back in the old ITW days, did she not? Maybe I'm imagining that.

As for Joss, I'm not sure he'd like all the spoiler-flinging we do, but otherwise I do think he'd like us. Maybe we should have Judy send him another toaster, and this time have our URL inscribed on it.

Yeah, from the Fangoria article (among others) I get the idea that Buffy spoilers really depress Joss and make him lose enthusiasm for the show, so he probably shouldn't visit the Kitten because he'd just end up in need of serious counseling. I bet he could talk Sarah into letting Buffy move to Fox or someplace - hopefully the poilitics of moving the show is not having a negative effect on the creative atmosphere on the set.
