Today, I watched NMR with a mate who's been lending my Buffy tapes and getting up-to-speed with seasons 4 & 5 as she missed them, and is really enjoying season 6 but not getting the storylines properly.Anyhow, tangent. We were watching the scene where Wil goes to Tara's room to explain that nothing happened with Oz the night before, that they just talked but that she's confused about everything.
WILLOW: (teary) I don't know. I just - life was starting to get so good
again, and -- (sighs, moves closer to Tara) You're a big part of that.
(Crying) And here comes the thing I wanted most of all, and... I don't know
what to do, I ... I wanna know, but I don't.
- and it hit me that when she said "And here comes the thing I wanted most of all" that I wasn't sure whether she was talking about Tara or Oz.
Every time I've watched it, I thought it was about Tara, like here comes the thing/relationship that I've been really waiting for that makes me feel this happy etc. But today, I realised she could be talking about Oz, life was getting good again and it's because of you, and here's the thing I wanted most of all/having Oz come back and now I don't know what I want?!?
I was just wondering what everyone else thought?
