RACHEL: You were with Julie?
MONICA: Look, when it started I was just trying to be nice to her
because she was my brother's girlfriend. And then, one thing
led to another and, before I knew it, we were...shopping.
RACHEL: Oh. Oh my god.
MONICA: Honey, wait. We only did it once. It didn't mean anything to me.
RACHEL: Yeah, right.
MONICA: Really, Rachel, I was thinking of you the whole time. Look,
I'm sorry, all right. I never meant for you to find out.
RACHEL: Oh, please, you wanted to get caught.
MONICA: That is not true!
RACHEL: Oh, so you just sort of happened to leave it in here?
MONICA: Did it ever occur to you that I might just be that stupid?
RACHEL: Ok, Monica. I just have to know one thing. Did you go with her
to Bloomingdales? Oh! Ok, ok, ok, I just really, uh, I just
really need to not be with you right now.
am i the only one who saw the subtext in Mutant X between Shalimar/Emma just after Emma 'died'?
the other cool part in that movie, of course, is that Eliza Dushku spends the whole movie flirting with a couple of other girls... can't remember their names at the present...

Heh. And according to reams and reams of Kirk/Spock slash fic (the founding couple of slash fic, in fact), if necessary, all Spock has to do is lie back and think of Vulcan...
But there's a great case to be made that just because they don't need to have sex but once every seven years doesn't mean they can't.
I love me some good K/S... Haven't been watching "Enterprise" so I can't comment on the T'Pau thing -- but Janeway sure had a thang for Seven, didn't she? Not that anyone could blame her.

When *doesn't* subtext happen on Andromeda? Between the sweet possessiveness (she's *my* lucky charm") of Becca/Trance and the masculine posturing, and tight leather pants, of Dylan/Tyr *blissful sigh* that's a show just made for to order for a slash fan.
Haven't had a show this good (eye candy wise) since Highlander went off the air and we stopped getting weekly displays of Methos making sure he was sprawled so that Duncan got the best, most unobstructed view of his crotch.
Not to mention the Double Quickening in Revelation 6:8 -- the one Peter Wingfield (Methos' actor) called, in print in "The Highlander Watcher's Guide" the "homoerotic one." And when asked at a con if the Quickening had a double meaning he responded, "It has a double meaning? What's the other one?"
Then there was the ep where Duncan painted Methos' nose, and they constantly checked each other's asses/crotches out. Not that anyone could blame them -- and besides, I ask you, how could *anyone* get to 407 and over 5000 years old and not play for both teams?
At the con last August, Lizzie Gracen (Amanda's actress) told the assembled fans that Adrian Paul (Duncan's actor and the director of the ep in question) told her and Nadia Cameron (Rebecca) to 'play this like you are lovers' in the flashback. Sadly, Rebecca was dead at the time of that ep -- so they couldn't play it as lovers in the present. *pout*
But that was one thing I loved about Highlander. Most of the guest stars got more screen time after their deaths than they did before they were whacked. Roger Daltery certainly did -- and he's on record as saying he's sure Fitz and Duncan shagged at some point; after all, all they did together was drink and shag.
Then there was the canonical, bi-racial couple of Carter Wellan and Haresh Clay; they were a couple for over 900 years, and when Richie killed Carter, Clay totally lost his will to live and forced Duncan into fighting him -- well, he was trying to kill Richie (who should've been killed years ago...but they left that for Duncan to do after Ahriman possessed him) and since Richie had been Duncan's student, and was no match for Clay, Duncan took the fight -- because he knew Clay wanted to die and saw no reason for Richie to have to die too.
I did, but that was just me. And it did end up being much more painful to see Duncan kneeling, weeping over Richie's headless corpse, offering Methos his head because he couldn't bear the pain of what he'd been tricked into doing. So that was good. Very good. *weg*
God. I miss that show.
There's a lovely slashy vid, "I'm Not a Virgin Anymore" here: http://slum/slashcity.com/lum/ozone file name inava.rm if anyone would like a look at all the lovely boys and girls on that show.
I'm sure Lum would love for y'all to see it and let her know if you like. She can be reached at luminosity@slashcity.com

Joe: "You watch your ass, MacLeod."
Duncan: "It's not my ass that I'm worried about."
Methos: "Did I happen to mention about all of this coming to a bad end?"
Duncan: "No, Methos, I don't think that you did."

I thought about that -- but worried about the total post size. I couldn't find anything about maxium size in the faq; is there some limit on what the board can handle?

Shalimar is emotional. While Emma is slumped dead on the floor, Shalimar is stroking her hair and I think she was also touching her face too I'm not sure, but it was a very subtexty moment. When Emma comes back to life (as all lead characters do) you can see Shalimar's happy reaction. Just friends? Puh-leez... wink, wink. heh.heh. pax

Giles: Come down, and we will go about fixing this in a sensible fashion!
Anya: Sensible! You think it's sensible for me to go down into that pit of cotton-top hell, and let them hippity-hop all over my vulnerable flesh?
Giles: Fine, then just stay up there and keep making bunnies! That's a capital plan!
Anya: What capital? I never know what you're talking about. Loo, shag, brolly, what the hell is all that?
Giles: What? There's no way that you could remember me saying any of those words.
Anya: Oh, bugger off, you brolly.

I know Sam/Frodo and Legolas/Gimli are going concerns these days -- although most of my friends seem to be writing Harry Potter slash. Oh well, it's all good.

There was also a scene where the two girls who weren't Eliza and Shannon (shame on Eliza's part I guess...) were having a snogfest on top of a shop counter, then running off to the loo for a shag.
And the pizza guy. Yack. The scene where the pizza guy appears shows Eliza shagging him in the bedroom, while the other two girls make merry on the bed.
Outtakes. Bah. And no Eliza kissage. Perhaps that movie wasn't crap enough *coughSoulSurvivorscough* for her...

Oh my God, Tara Reid was SO adorable as Melody. I loved when she's running around the house talking about how if she could be in more than one place at a time she could be in this room and that room ... Do cute, naive, adorable women like her really exist? Can I have one?

Get in line! My favourite moment with that character has got to be when she's in the shower singing "If you're happy and you know it clap your hands". But she keeps dropping her wash cloth every time she claps her hands.
I was watching it with a bunch of friends and we all burst into hysterics at that scene. Then adding smilies to the warning on the mirror. *sigh*.
