Very cheery, Ari! Not. I really think that this is going to be some sort of all-out, worst-case-scenario blood bath for all the Scoobs. It is interesting that Amber said that it's not Xander. She grants Warren a wish that Xander die a terrible death, but it affects everyone. Warren kills Tara, Buffy and Willow face off and kill each other, Spike goes evil and attacks Xander, Xander stakes him, and Xander's lying there bleeding. Anya loves him enough to smash her pendant, undoing the wish but killing her. See, in that scenario Xander is dying, but he never actually dies.IP: Logged |

oops, had to edit because i forgot to add my reply, sorry. Anyway. I used to use that word a lot and then i heard from a differently abled rights activist that they found it offensive. Since then I've read a lot about that word and it's usage. Emi, who runs www.eminism.org is a differently abled rights activist and very smart to boot has written a lot about it on her site. she even has a cool "Lame is Good" flyer.
Anyhow, i didn't mean to imply that you or anyone using that word had some hatred of differently abled people, i used to use the word myself and never thought of it in that context. I just didn;t want anyone to get hurt by the word without anyone meaning to be hurtful. Back to spoilers. I like all these theories, if only because it is something hopeful to grasp too. What keeps popping up in my mind is Halfrek. Dawn losing her mother figure? that sounds like Halfrek's area of expertise when it comes to wish granting. hmmm.

One thing bothering me about the possibilty of Willow being the big bad and the events of ep. 20 not being reversed in the final episodes, does Willow become the Big Bad for next season also? So that would mean that the show would become like the old Batman series, where Willow acts like the Joker, uses her henchmen to commit some act, they're caught, but she gets away only to return the following week to cause more mayhem. I can't believe that Joss would allow the show to degenrate into something as stupid as that because it would probably cause the few remaining viewers to not watch anymore.IP: Logged

Here's a thought. You have to figure Giles is going to be back at some point, right? It would probably be finding out about what happened to Tara that would make hurry back. Probably 21.So what's Mr. Watcher-man going to think of his brilliant idea to go off and leave everyone to their own devices? I wonder if that pseudo spoiler Wanda gave out a long time ago is true, that when he comes back he would stake Spike? It's possible. I bet they are all dropping like flies by the time 22 rolls around.
In his dream in Restless, Willow said to him "You know this is all your fault." Is Giles partially blame for everything going so bad because he abandoned them?
Oh, and I've seen this mentioned elsewhere, but in terms of death foreshadowing in Restless, how about Death of a Salesman as a huge clue that in the end it would be Anya?
So Amber said: "it's not Xander." At this point it's conceivable that Xander's just about the only one who won't die before this whole thing is over with.
Cheery thought, no?

Very cheery, Ari! Not. I really think that this is going to be some sort of all-out, worst-case-scenario blood bath for all the Scoobs. It is interesting that Amber said that it's not Xander. Odd choice. Unless, of course, he literally was the only one left until Anya sacrifices herself or whatever. (Once again, this is pretty clearly the scenario Wanda--oy--has been alluding to. Odd choice. Unless, of course, he literally was the only one left until Anya sacrifices herself or whatever. (Once again, this is pretty clearly the scenario Wanda--oy--has been alluding to. So while she's not exactly someone anyone here trusts, she IS another spoiler source providing a possible resolution to Michelle's trusted spoiler.)
Interesting thoughts about Giles. Sad to think that everyone would fail so miserably in his absence, though. He shouldn't have to shoulder all that blame.

I have yet another scenario. D'H made a deal with Anya that there are no takebacks this time; if her pendant gets broken, she dies. See, in that scenario Xander is dying, but he never actually dies.IP: Logged

oops, had to edit because i forgot to add my reply, sorry.
Dawn losing her mother figure? that sounds like Halfrek's area of expertise when it comes to wish granting. hmmm.
