Reeeaal late for this thread - RL and all. The photos and reports are awesome, everyone. I'm so glad that so many Kittens were able to meet each other, as well as Amber! Too bad there wasn't more karaoke, who wouldn't want to sing with Amber and Andy backing them up?

speaking of saying dumb stuff(or thought of as dumb stuff by the person spouting off) least some of you actually got more out than I did; when I got up to Amber I swear my mouth clamped shut and I just stared and mumbled(but she understood ).....heck I just managed to mumble out a response when Amber made a comment about Reba and mine's last name matching(she first thought we where sister but I corrected and said girlfriends;which got a smile from her)

I tend to get really quite around people I've just met cause I stutter and usuall assume I'll make an idoit out of myself....anyways excuse the ramblings and now those kitties that where at the con know why I didn't say too much of anything.

Stacy, hope you can post your pics soon

Thanks so much for the pics, reports and personal stories to all the kitties who attended! Yeah kitties!

Just wondering if anyone attended Joss' discussion?

I think CaBil got to hear Joss, but I'm not sure. I saw Delirium from the C&S at the Karaoke thing, and I think she heard Joss, too. I can ask. At any rate, there was an awful lot of chaos in the room where Joss appeared, with many people to file in and out and the presentations running at least half an hour behind.

Most of us Kitties were downstairs listening to a very interesting discussion and looking at an empty chair with "Amber Benson" written on the name card in front of it.

Or alternating our gaze between the vacant spot at the table, and the door. Or just become glassy-eyed.

(Glassy-eyed, but listening, yes; it was a really good panel.)

Edited to add:
And I forgot to mention earlier, but the cashier at the Dark Horse sales counter complimented me on my Kitty shirt. She said the logo was really cool. *nods to Froggy*

Great pics, guys!! Thanks for the sharing and the clearing up of the Joss' Hands situation (it's been bugging me..)

Well, I took the plunge, I'll go introduce myself over in that other thread eventually, but for now, I'll just stick with the 'thanks!' and 'ooh, I'm jealous' thing

The Godfather at the BC&S posted this:

My sister met Amber Benson who she said is one of the most beautiful and sweet people she has ever met. She said Amber looks to actually be smaller than Sarah. Apparently Amber wasn't making friends with the line security because she refused to rush people along. She signed two sets of things for my sister, one for me and one for her. The guard told Amber that she had to hurry up and the reply was that she was going to sign for the whole line. The guard told her they were on a time-limit and Amber replied that she would then take it outside and complete the signing there. The guard relented and Amber turned to my sister and said, "You want a picture, right?" My sister tried to say that she had already taken up too much time but Amber insisted. That's a class act.

Bill is back in the building.

After a too damn long plane ride, and working my way through too many old posts, I've got to post.

I'm sorry I missed hanging around with you folks, but I was in Joss line.

Yes, I saw part of the Joss presentation. I asked a question that stumped him.

They were questions wandering around?

One of the women at the panel was the artist for the other Will and Tara story, and also does the very good Blue Monday series.

Photo update...

My second set of pics should be ready today, and I know you're all dying to see the shots I got of the Invisible Man cast . Problem is I'm tied down with UL safety testing at work. If I'm going to get the pics today I'll have to tear myself away long enough to get from City of Industry to Alhambra by 6:00, and then possibly get back to City of Industry to finish the testing. Eeep. Wish me luck!

Speaking of needing luck, I hope Stacy's scanner-hunt is going well.

And speaking of photos and expeditions, is anyone checking out the Rosedale Cemetary tonight?

You'd better believe it baby!

The riding crop in question is now in the downstairs storeroom. I forgot it was there until I was clearing out the other day and was like; "OH!" Heh heh. Dammit, I didn't bring it out for Deb, Puff and Spuckie. Now that would have been fun...

P.S. Jen, you're a perve. Continue.

Kitties, and especially those of you whom I had the pleasure to meet at the con, I am an idiot.

It hit me today that of all places, a W/T-centric board should be the last place for me to worry about its denizens laughing at my tendency to stutter! Because I'll have you know that all day Saturday, I was acting thoroughly neurotic about the way I get nervous and mangle words sometimes.

Remarkably silly of me, wasn't it?

Just want to say that it was a pleasure to meet all of you--Bob, xita, Dri, Stacy, Reba, Anakin, Bill, Chris, Jen--and thank y'all for being so darned cool.

con stories...hmmm oh there was this one point when we(the kitties) where milling around the dark horse booth(eyeing the white board for updates) and Reba managed to chatt with a dark horse pr person. She came back to our group and said that "Amber is in the vicinity"...so we all started scanning the crowd and asking define vicinity.

Stacy- you might want to try Kinko's,they have scanners but it's kind of expensive;don't remember how much.
