Just wanted to say that YAY! the board is back! Nick posted some pics from two InStyle magazines, here's the link http://www.alysonhannigancorner.com/alyinstyle0202.html
The ones on the bottom I’ve seen before but the ones on top are from Nicholas Brendan’s wedding, which I hadn’t seen before, nice one of Aly/ASH/Alexis
Oh yeah, about the Willow question, I love everything about her, I love her completely, no use going into small detail because like I said, I love everything about her. [This message has been edited by Warduke (edited January 30, 2002).]

I am the founder of a few Yahoo Clubs and at one where I share foundership with other people, I got in arguments with a few of the other founders because I was power tripping. Although I really wasn't the only one to blame, as Joy can tell you. But that's another story. Also, I can identify with Willow's belief that she has to be a super Willow and not regular Willow. I can't do magic or anything but I notice in my fanfics that I tend to give my main characters supernatural abilities. In rps where I make up my own character they almost always have supernatural abilities as well. In other rps, I pick characters that have supernatural abilities, like playing vamp Harmony at one Buffy rpg and playing a healer at an Elfquest type rpg. Around the time when I first met Joy was the same time that Willow first met Tara. So I've kind of grown the same way Willow has. That's why I like Willow. Besides, she's way cute. ~Michelle~ ------------------ And who could've foreseen In you I'd find the place I've belonged forever And if I move closer Then love will take over And lead the way -- Mariah Carey "Lead the Way" IP: Logged |

I simply adore her character. From the beginning. Yeah, love Willow. ^_____^Yippie, on another side note... one less exam to do. Only one more week of college to go. I'm desperate for some free time.
Anyway, I hope you all have a great day. *hugs*

Happy Willow Wednesday...I love Willow because she's so wonderful.
She's a loyal friend, trustworthy buddy, sexy as hell, and smart as any two other people. Willow is good, all the way down. Even her love for power and overuse of magic rises from wanting to make a difference and help others.
I love many people in the Buffyverse, but Willow was the first I fell really in love with.
Finally, as someone else once said elsewhere...
The best ever Buffy is still Doppelgangland. Willow licking Willow...How can that be wrong??

Awwwwww! What cute piccies! Thanks Warduke! Ever since my own wedding, I go to/see other weddings, and instantly turn into gooey mush. What is happening to me? I'm gushing again. So, Willow, how much do I love thee? *adopts Roger Rabbit voice (which I do rather well)* Let me count the ways: One thouand, two thousand ... *bounce bounce*
Just so cute. Everything. Beautiful eyes. Gorgeous smile. Outrageously bad dress sense (how much do I identify with that one?), brilliant, goofy, Willowbabble, all those little things she does. And all the hidden (and not so hidden) depths she has. Long may she charm and confound us! I'm a sap, I know, I know.
On a chipper note, I have finally had inspiration as to what to do to my drat fiction that I started (heh, just got distracted by vintage Nicky Wire baiting his audience - "Mums and dads, boys and girls, this isn't ballroom dancing - You lazy, lazy people - this one's for our Queenie" - I shan't repeat the ensuing lyrics); and am now taking it in a whle new direction. Watch this space!
Anyway, nothing else to say, except, ooh, tea, just brought, courtesy of my gorgeous wifey-kins (well, she's sitting right here)
Have a good rest of the day, kitties!

I think the better question is what is there about Willow that you don't love? Though I'm pretty sure pretty much everyone would say there's nothing. My favs are Willowbabble, her loyalty, her tendency to put Ys at the end of words, her quirky sense of humor, especially when its with Tara. I love how they are totally on the same wave length sense of humor wise.
But I want to reiterate what bzengo said earlier.

I have become a fan of silly babbling Willow. she is just too cute when she is talking so fast....and without taking a breath. I really dislike the whiny cry. Everytime I hear it....it just makes me cringe. Reminds me to much of my sister when she was little. Other than that....Willow is great.
Now as for Tara...there is absolutely nothing I would change about her. ------------------

The babble, the loyalty, the way she's grown more confident over the course of the series - watching the S1 DVD's, wow, what a transformation, but yet, what continuity in important ways - her ever, uh, creative fashion choices...it's all good.Man, grad school sucks, this has been a really angsty week, but I think I've finally figured out the plan for the next three semesters...yurg, what a blender January has been. But I'm going to Vegas this weekend, so that's gonna rock!
Have a good day, everyone!

Like others have stated, I can't put down every reason I love Willow. But damn it, I DO! Yesterday at my Lambda meeting I confessed my love for Aly in from of 20 or so total strangers. I also squeaked "She's so *cute!!*"I am also testing my siggy. Whee! Hope it works. I've tried to add an image to it but last board I tried to have an image in my sig, it failed miserably. Let's hope otherwise.
~Joy
Testing revealed that it failed hopelessly! Now I shall go forage for some dinner and snuggle with my Sweetie.

How do I love Willow? Let me count the ways. No, I'd better not, because that would overload the board. I love Willow babble of course. And Strong Willow. And Willow's resolve face. And can't sing a note Willow. And hacker Willow. And geeky Willow. And I'm sure Tara would love geeky Willow too if she would trust her enough to give her the chance. ------------------

I like Willow because I can really relate to her. Like the whole magic power trip thing.
Besides, she's way cute.

i love willow's intelligence. and her vocabulary. it's no wonder she's dating someone who's bothered by the internet's bad spelling. "respect the narrative flow much?" hee.
in other news, i lost my new pasta claw, and now i'm grumpy. yeah.

like many others, i started watching Buffy cuz of Willow. I've always like supernatural/fantasy books/movies/etc. and by the time I started watching (4th season), Willow was well on her witchy way. But that doesn't mean I'll love her any less without the witchy-ness!~la

I didn't say red heads, did I? Well, here goes:Red Heads.
Ooohh, all of a quiver, now. Yep, red heads do it for me, too.
And about her crying - it's odd, but, Good Lord, it's effective - it's singularly the most gut-wrenching sob I've ever heard. That bit in Passions. I find myself instinctively running out to the kitchen to make her a mug of hot chocolate with extra marshmellows, before I have to say "whoah; it's a tv program." What can I say? I just have to comfort.

Oh, you can tell, by the rapture on my face,
That synthetic fur makes for a sensual embrace!
