Greetings from the PBP

You must all know that this is the third attempt at making this post. I guess it's safe to say that none of us know how to use webtv. How many mods does it take to post a thread again?

So on to the sordid details: (this is april now). all 3 mods are here now in xxxita's hotel room o' luuuuv, lounging on her king-sized bed. woo hoo! adrienne, wimp that she is, is just watching.

all the rooms at the marriott apparently come equipped with webtv, which is quite possibly the WORST way to surf the web known to mankind. we all just almost went blind trying to read some fic on the pens board. yes, we're truly roughing it. dri's turn...

All I have to say is that I SO not watching... I'm simply enjoying from the sidelines while 'others' entertain themselves Or me.

Okay now it's Len, trying desperately to not press one of the many inscrutable function keys which will mysteriously delete everything we've tried to write for the fourth time. New York is lovely so far. xita quite enjoys the local beer offerings. The marriott is quite cunning at charging for everything short of oxygen...but it is a nice hotel I guess. Tomorrow, museums, maybe some tourist sites like the World Trade Center, and a mass Kitten viewing of Final Fantasy!

Barring more catostrophic technical difficulties, we'll be making periodic updates as the weekend goes on and we meet more wonderful kitties! Anyhoo, back to more fun on Xita's big bed.

Edited to add: If your web tv is anything like the crappy shit we got with Cable and Wireless, then my sympathies are with you. And my spelling tips also...it's hard when you don't have a keyboard...

This is my sad face...because I can't be with you guys this weekend. SO, not only am I not in NY BUT I'm under intense stress because this is the week the state decides to review our facility. Also, all of my quarterly reviews are due in today (suck). So I'll be working my ass off today. Well anyway I'm thinking about you all...hope you are having a wonderful time...and if there is a party next year I'M GOING!!!!!

Wish I could be there in the NYC with the big Kitten Board Orgy of Love - have fun you guys! Take lots of pictures!! I want to know all the sordid details (the more sordid the better). April: try not to let Xita drink too much beer and start any fights with the notorious NY gangs of W/O shippers. Len: try to keep the Winona Ryder fans from mobbing Dri when they hear her voice.

And everybody else there have a great time and watch lots of W/T-centric Buffy and make fun of Final Fantasy and everything else you want to do.

hey again kittiess!

ah, what a day. after waking up from our kitty orgy (okay, so actually we all slept in separate beds, but don't tell anyone!) we did a Big Tourist Day -- the statue of liberty/staten island ferry, top of the world trade center, where we had a detailed discussion about what it would entail to jump over the electric fence and plunge to our deaths, and then on to central park, where everyone but me got into a heated discussion about the merits of riley (or lack thereof).

now we are back in xita's den o luuuuuv, where i am diligently reporting to all of you lovely kitties, and xita is lounging on the couch. even lazier, len and adrienne are in their rooms napping. losers!

gridmonkey, i'll email you with the details of our movie tonight + some other info. i'm so excited to meet so many kitties!

okay, i'm going to sign off now and relax for a bit on the king-sized bed o' naughtiness . wish you all could be here! (NOt)

UPDATE--
We saw the movie, it was err nice..
we saw some dinosaurs and museum stuff too that was also nice.
We have 'Lemonade' and beer, this is VERY nice.

The drunken stupor man at the movie theater was not as nice. Somebody said he was dead, but he wasn't. I guess you shouldn't check for a pulse unless you know how to find one. I gave the poor usher my cell phone to call 911 and an ambulance came.
