The new Buffy the Magazine- Amber bit

April 4 will see the release of a special Willow/Tara one-shot, co-written by Christopher Golden and Tara herself, Amber Benson. But this is more than just a high-profile cameo; Benson has ambitions beyond acting, and writing comics is just an extension of that.

"when I was in L.A., I spent a day with Amber," Scott Allie (Buffy comcis editor)says. "She had great insights about how she wants to do her comics. I'm really jazzed to see what that's going to shape into over the next months or years."

Looking forward to the second hlaf of the year, Buffy producer Jane Espeson is on tap to pen a miniseries that will debut Faith in the Buffy comics, and a collaborative project with Pocket Books will bring a number of Buffy writers and performers together in the pages of one graphic novel to present Tales of the Slayer.

Won't amber be writing for the last thing there? It's a graphic novel? CooL!
