ObsidianEsper: Ooh I'm a rather large fan of the NY one but I don't really watch CSI that much. I'm poor and don't have cable :X And that's what the characters are really. They fit the jobs so well

Chapter Two: Autopsy
Donned in clean, fresh smelling clothes and her hair tied into a neat ponytail, Tara strode quietly into the autopsy room, joining her girlfriend who stared intently at the body, nodding her head as coroner Dr. Anya Jenkins explained the gruesome details of the murder.
“ Well, fine fine specimen we have here of a teenage young lady who is I say about, sixteen to seventeen years of age based on the teeth. Extremely extremely deep cuts to the neck by the strings and the cuts are dirty and infected which means that the body’s been in there for a while. You can tell that someone deliberately missed the jugular vein as well. Not a very pretty death. Not pretty at all.” Dr. Jenkins said to Willow, who was furiously taking down notes and changing her pen colours at breakneck speed.
“ I wonder how the body had gotten there though. I had a piano at home and I dropped a fifty dollar note into it. Took me ages to get the stupid strings apart. Had to call in professional help too and I had to use the fifty to pay for the help.” said the curly-haired blonde, rolling her eyes. The two investigators smiled and shook their heads in amusement.
“ Anyway, the body’s rigid and cold. The skin has a slight green tinge to it, which means it’s decomposing. No pooling of blood under the skin, which is strange and unusual for hanging victims. Actually, there’s about 40 milli-litres of blood left in the body which probably means that the body’s been drained for some reason. I can’t explain the bloodstains from the neck to the feet though.”
Tara stroked her chin. “ We found blood, all around the inside of the piano. The whole inside was bloody and looked very unusual. We think that it might have been bleeding into the piano and it pooled, covering the body but I don’t think humans have that much blood in them.”
Nodding her head in understanding, Dr Jenkins filed a report and handed it to the two investigators then set off to preserve the victim’s lifeless body. Willow and Tara washed themselves of the smell and set off to find DNA expert Buffy Summers in the science labs.
“ Hey Will, Hey Tara. So what do we have today?” The chirpy blond asked.
“ We have a strange murder case. We found a female teen’s body in between two piano strings. You know those incredibly tight ones that vibrate when you play the piano? Yeah those. It was horrible. The whole piano was covered in blood three quarters down. Anyway, we’ve got hairs.” Willow filled her in, handing her the hair samples taken from the bed sheets.
“ Alright. I’ll get these back to you asap.”
After thanking her, they met with blood pattern analyst Alexander Harris. Filling him in, they handed him the bloody towel, robe and the pictures of the scene.
“ Woah. Hardcore crime there Will. Check out those cuts.” he said, feeling his own neck and shuddering slightly.”
“ Yeah it is. Can you run tests on these? We’ll be back, we’ve spent too much time wondering around. We’ll need it asap.” Xander nodded and flashed them a reassuring smile.
They then headed towards footprint and fingerprint analyst Daniel Osbourne’s office. Willow stayed outside his office while Tara went in and gave him the pictures as well as the fingerprint copies. Quickly getting the job done without any awkwardness, they made their way to British glass and material researcher Rupert Giles.
“ Oh. Hello. How might I help you today ladies?” He politely addressed the girls as he cleaned his glasses simultaneously.
“ Bad murder case. Found these on the floor. It’s probably champagne glass but we don’t know where this huge piece of thick glass came from.” The redhead explained, handing the pictures as well as the zip lock containing the glass shards.
“ Can you find out what they are? We need them asap.” Tara asked, getting a nod and an “alright” from Giles.
After handing everything to the scientists and specialists, they retreated back to the lounge room where their mochas were waiting for them. Sitting down beside one another and sipping their coffees, Willow’s hand snaked around Tara’s waist, pulling the blonde closer to her. “ You know how much I’ve missed holding you? Stupid night calls, depriving me of my Tara snuggles.” Tara snuggled closer to the redhead, smiling and kissing her lover’s cheek. They laid there together, talking and drinking until their beepers beeped them out of their bubble of love.
