....Maybe we should start a dead fic crusade. If fics are abandoned for longer than two years then another writer can apply to pick them up and finish them...I'm sorry if that sounds like sacrilege, but unfinished fics are just such a freaking big bummer.

How many shouts does it take to motivate a fic writer? Ok, that was supposed to be like the tootsie pop (how many licks does it take... - although that might work better) commercial but didn't quite work.
