Ok kittens, here it is.
------------------------------------------------------------
Oz hadn’t woken up but the doctor had allowed Larry to see him. Xander offered to go with him while Tara and Buffy stayed with Willow. A doctor checked her over affirming that she had, indeed, only fainted. All three girls sat in silence. Buffy pacing the room while Tara sat in a chair beside the bed, holding the redheads right hand. Willow gave a fear filled moan in her sleep. Buffy look do see that the girl’s brow was creased. “Is she ok?”
“Yeah. Probably just a frog dream.” Tara moved closer, slipping her hand under the redhead’s shirt. Buffy’s eyes widened. “Tara! What are you…”
“Relax Buffy. I’m just rubbing her stomach. She likes it when I…”
“Stop explaining things.” Willow’s words came out groggy but with a hint of embarrassment.
“Will? Goddess baby, are you alright?” Tara helped the girl sit up before wrapping her arms around the redhead. “Don’t ever do that again.” Willow moved over so Tara could sit with her on the bed. She found the blonde’s hand, holding it tightly as she hung her head and sighed. Buffy, who had been standing by, watching the two, walked towards the bed. “Will? Are you sure you’re ok?”
“Yeah, I’m fine but…”
“Baby? What happened in there?” Tara was becoming increasingly concerned with her lover’s silence. She ran her hand up and down the redhead’s back, trying to ease whatever fears she had. “Will?”
“Has Oz woke up yet?”
“No. But they’ve let Larry go in to sit with him. Xander went with him.”
“Buffy? I think you need to call Giles. We’ve got a problem. A big problem.” Willow finally brought her eyes up to meet Buffy’s and saw that she was completely confused. “Tomorrow is the night before the full moon.” Willow felt Tara’s hand grip even tighter with understanding.
“But Oz can control it now. What’s the problem?”
“Yes. He can control it. But he’s in a coma, he has no control over his body. If he’s not awake and alert, then he can’t control it.”
Buffy just looked at the redhead as if pondering something. “Well that just sucks. Ok. I’ll call Giles but I better talk to Larry first.” As she headed for the door, she turned. “Will you two be ok?” Tara only nodded.
After the door closed behind the Slayer Willow laid back down sighing. “Tara?”
“Yeah?”
“Would you lay down with me for awhile?”
“Always.” Tara lay on her side beside the other girl, running her fingers through the red locks. “What’s going on up here Will?” The blonde said, lightly resting the tip of her finger on the girl’s temple.
“Well, it’s just that I feel so bad and guilty. I mean, the past 24 hours have been so crazy and… I was so nervous about last night, then things started going good, then great, then no-possible-adjective-on-earth-could-describe- it well, then HELLO, inter the Hellmouth. Except it’s worse than the Hellmouth, an actual person did this and everything’s so ggggrrrrrr, and all I want… Goddess, all I want is for you to be holding me.”
------------------------------------------------------------
Buffy lightly tapped on the door as she entered the room to find Xander pacing with Larry sitting in a chair beside Oz’s bed.
“Hey, how’s he doin’?” She asked.
“No change.” Xander replied as he leaned against the wall. “How’s Will? She awake?”
“Yeah. She just came around. Tara’s with her.” She made her way to the bed, looking Oz over. “Um, Larry? Speaking of ‘no change,’ do you know about Oz’s… Well his… Um…”
“The wolf? Yeah. I know. Why?” Larry was utterly confused and he began to worry with the long silence of the blonde. Xander had become curious by now and left his place at the wall to join is friend. “What’s going on Buff?” Buffy sighed, feeling the pressure of the men’s gazes. “Ok. Here’s the thing. He’s been controlling the wolf right?”
“Yeah. I don’t think he’s changed since the last time he was in Sunnydale.”
A little relieved from the possible glimmer of good news, Buffy continued. “Good. Ok. The thing is… Will said that since Oz is completely unconscious he won’t have any control over his body or emotions and…”
Xander stepped closer to the blonde. “Are you saying if he doesn’t wake up then we’re gonna have a wolf on our hands.”
------------------------------------------------------------
“Tara.”
“Yeah?”
“Tara.”
“What is it baby?”
“Sorry. I just wanted to say your name and have you answer back. Our… my bed was just so empty and after awhile your smell had gone too, but I knew, so it was ok I guess.”
Tara pulled the redhead back from her shoulder to look in her eyes. “Knew what?”
“That I deserved it. Deserved not to deserve you. But the withdrawals helped to take my mind of it.”
“I wanted to be there but…”
“Oh no. You wouldn’t have wanted to be there. I’d prefer to forget it myself but it’s important.”
“Important?”
“Yeah. Important. It was one of the many prices I have to pay for my selfishness. But I realize now that everything’s important. Especially the truth. I mean, sometime the truth may hurt but in the long run, dishonesty leaves a pain that can never heal. I was only looking at the importance of things happening at that exact moment, but it’s more than… What?” Willow had finally noticed that the blonde was smiling. “Oh, I’m babbling. Sorry.”
“It’s ok. It’s just that I’ve missed it. But you’re right about everything. Things got all crazy but I realized something last night.”
“What?”
“I realized that amidst all the craziness there’s one simple fact that’s the most important thing of all.”
“What’s that?”
“That I love you. Goddess baby. I love you so much.” By now, tears were streaming down the blonde’s face. “Will you just kiss me and never stop?”
“If that’s what you really want.” The redhead teased as she leaned closer placing small kisses on Tara’s neck.
“Goddess yes! I want it almost as much as I want you inside of me, right now.”
Willow was still paying delicate attention to the girl’s neck when she mumbled her words into it. “But we’re in a hospital. Someone could walk in.”
Tara grabbed the girl’s head, pulling in away from her neck to look at the redhead’s eyes. “Baby, please!”
Willow just smiled warmly at the blonde and nodded. With that matter settled, Tara extended her tongue, slowly tracing around the girl’s lips. Willow took the opportunity to take the tip of that eager tongue between her lips, sucking and nibbling at it. Her hands found their way to the soft flesh of Tara’s stomach. She also found the button of the girl’s jeans, which she quickly unclasped along with the fly.
“I’m sorry baby.” Willow whispered into her lover’s ear. “I’m sorry I didn’t get to do this earlier.”
“You’re forgiven…Ummm… as long as you… Oh Goddess… don’t stop now.” The blonde took the lobe of Willow’s ear into her mouth.
“Hey guys, Giles’ on the phone, he… Holy God! Sorry! I… umm… err…” Buffy stared in shock at the two girls before turning to walk out. “I’ll just be outside.”
They watched the door as it closed with a thud. Tara sighed. “Fuck!”
“Tara! Such language.” Willow giggled as she leaned in closer to Tara’s face. “Sorry.”
“It’s ok. But when we get home we’re taking care of this problem.”
“Oh, most definitely.”
