Well, I got into a writing mood tonight. So an update came sooner than expected.

Chapter 4



~*~**~**~**~*~**~



“Buffy!” Willow screeched as she heard her friend pick up the phone.



“Will?” Buffy responded happily. “Are you settled? How are you? What’s new?”



“Buffy!”



“What?” Buffy asked excitedly.



“I met a girl!”



“A girl. As in a girly-ish girl?”



“Yes!”



“Oh my god, Will. Whats her name?”



“Tara! I met her on the plane. She’s from some weird named place outside of LA, shes our age. Oh god, Buffy, she’s pretty.”



“How pretty?”



“Pretty being the biggest -understatement -of -my -life -pretty.”



“Oh Will! I’m so happy for you!”



“I’m actually supposed to go get her for dinner.” Willow said hopefully.



“Seriously? You’re kidding!!!”



“Nope. I told her I had to call you and that I would come pick her up.”



Buffy thought of every single reason why that sounded wrong. Her slayer senses picking up a little bit, she said, “What did you say, exactly.”



“I said, ‘I have to call my friend Buffy.”



“Will! You dummy!”



“What, Buffy? What did I do?” Willow asked worridly.



“Nothing, Will. Calm down. Just go pick her up for dinner, but when you do, make sure you punch on the fact that you and I aren’t dating.”



“Of course we’re not Buf… OH! She thinks? Okay. I really have to clear that up, ‘cuz Buffy, I think you’re swell, but I don’t wanna date you anymore.”



“I get it. Now go get her, and then call me back, sometime.”



“Bye Buff. Love ya.”



Willow sat on her bed as she stared at her phone for emphasis then hung it up. She looked around her new dorm then decided upon two things. She needed to figure out what she would wear, and who in the frilly heck was her roommate?



Check your sheet dummy. Willow thought to herself.

No. Do it later. Get ready, go pick up Tara. Tara. Willow’s heart began to flutter at the name.



~*~**~**~*~**~***~*~*



Where is she? Tara thought as she put the finishing touches on her outfit.



Knock. Knock. Knock.



Tara slowly sauntered over to the door and opened it briskly. “Hey.” She said to the fiery redhead. As she waved her arm over so Willow would enter.



“Hey. Sorry I’m a little late. I came half way, then I figured I would leave a note for my roommate. Who by the way, I still don’t know her name.”



“That might be a bad thing. Why didn’t you check your sheet?”



“’Cuz if I did, it would have taken me longer to get here.” Willow put emphasis on the ‘here’ part as she grabbed Tara’s hand. “Are you ready to go?”



“Yes.” Tara said, giving Willow a shy-lopsided grin.



They were halfway down the hall when Tara thought of something, Willow has a girlfriend. Her heart sank slowly but rose quickly as she felt Willow squeeze her hand. It was obvious Willow felt Tara’s change in demenor and emotion.



“What is it?” The redhead asked.



“Nothing. Its just…”



“What? I know we haven’t known eachother a long time, but you don’t have to be shy around me. You can tell me, whatever it is.”



“Its just that…” Tara took in a deep breath. “Nevermind. Its nothing.” Tara thought, its not worth risking a potential friend. She’ll talk about… Buffy, when she feels ready.



“Okay. But if you want to talk, just let me know.” Willow smiled at her.



“You too.”



Willow then reclasped her hand with Tara’s and they began walking again.



So, how do I throw Buffy into this conversation. How do I tell her I like HER. Not Buffy. Okay, here we go. Start with friends back home. Work from there…

Okay, off to dinner we go…~*~**~*~*~**~**~ Willow thought as she continued her journey towards dinner with Tara.

Chapter 5



       

They arrived at Mario’s Pizza about 15 minutes later, it probably would’ve only taken two minutes if they drove, but walking seemed better to get to know their surroundings and such.

Willow opened the door for Tara.

The blonde said thank you and entered, while stopping to wait for her date. Willow entered and they got a table.

Willow started to sit down and she noticed something protruding from her backside.



“My ass is vibrating.”



“What?” Tara asked, schocked. And a little confused…



Willow reached into her back pocket and pulled out her cell phone. Held it up eye level in triumph.

“Hello?”



The other end replied.

“Will?”



“Buffy?” Willow said outloud, why was Buffy calling? She just talked to her.



“Just wanted to remind you, to tell Tara that we’re not dating.”



“Oh right! Thanks Buffy, I love you.”



“Bye, Will.”



Willow then looked over at Tara whos expression had changed yet again and Willow finally realized what was causing the change in pace.



“Tara. There’s something I have to tell you.” The redhead said as she sat down across the table from the blonde.



“Yes?” Tara looked up, blue eyes locked with green.



“Two things. First of all. I’m a lesbian. And I don’t know if you are, or what’s going on in your world of dating, or if you have a boyfriend or girlfriend back home, or something. But I am a lesbian and if that bugs you I want you to tell me. And second of all Buffy, the girl I just talked to, is not my girlfriend. I’m single, and I kinda have a crush on you. And I’m gunna stop talking because I’m running out of air…” Willow trailed of with that last word because she was already bright red, from nerves and lack of oxygen to the brain.



“Woah. I think you set a new record.”



“I already hold the title, straight babble for almost nine minutes, with a breath here or there.” Willow gave Tara a gorgeous smile.



“Good to know. And as for the previous babble. That fact that you’re gay only increases my reasoning for being around you. Second. I am so glad Buffy is not your girlfriend, because to tell you the truth, you’re not the only one with a crush.”



They both let out huge sighs and let off very happy smiles.





After they had eaten their pizza Willow noticed a stack of cards next to her elbow. She picked the pile up and looked at them. She read through them and automatically felt like it was a nice ice breaking game.



“I’ll be right back.” She said to Tara as she rushed over to the counter so she could get a pen and paper.



Upon her return Tara still had a dumbfounded look on her face, but was soon to catch up.



“Okay. Question 1, How old were you when you had your first kiss?”

They both scribbled.



“Question 2, Do you have a boyfriend or girlfriend?”



“Question 3, Where was the weirdest place you have ever made out with someone, or have gone further?”



“Question 4, What do you think of the person sitting across from you?”



“Quest…”



“Ladies.” They heard and they looked up to see the manager standing over them. “We’re closing in about five minutes.”



“Oh Okay, Thank you.” Willow said.



“Oh, where did you get these cards?” Tara asked the man as he started to walk away.



“Just take those, we have millions.” He said with a smile.



“Thank you.”



“We’ll finish this later.” Tara said to Willow as she stuffed the cards and her answer sheet in her bag.



They headed back to Tara's dorm to finish the game.

Chapter 6





“Here we are.” Tara said as they reached her dorm.



”Yep. We are here.” Willow said smiling.



“So, do you want to come in and finish?”



“Yeah!” Willow said quickly. “I-I mean, if you still want to.”



“Of course!” Tara said unlocking the door and throwing her arm out in front of her indicating for Willow to enter.



“Thank you m’lady.”



Tara just smiled and entered after Willow, making sure to grab a quick glance and the redhead’s fine rear end. Gorgeous.



“Have a seat.” Tara said to Willow as she noticed her green eyes traveling around the room. “Its not decorated yet. But I do plan to.”



“I haven’t even met my roommate yet.”



“Oh. Well, do you want to go and…”



“No!” Willow stated very quickly.



“Okay then.” Tara said, sitting down on the bed. Across from Willow who was seated in the chair next to the bed.



“Question 5, Have you ever kiss/slept with a person of the same sex?”



“Question 6, Would you ever have a threesome?”



“Queston 7, Have you ever fallen in love?”



“Question 8, What sexual conquest are you most proud of?”



“Question 9, How often do you watch porn?”



“Question 10, When you were little, what did you want to be?”



“That’s it.”



“Yep.”



Tara just looked at her paper, and Willow looked at her’s.



“Do we trade then?” Tara asked.



“If you want to.”



“Here. Before I change my mind.” Tara said, holding out her left hand. And taking Willow’s with her right.

“Those are some fine answers you have there, Ms Maclay.”



“Yours aren’t so shabby there.” Tara said to her.



Tara took both of the papers and set them upon her desk. I’ll question her porn habbits later. Tara thought.



Tara looked around the room her eyes everywhere but Willow’s. But Willow’s green eyes stayed content on Tara. Tara was aware of it. And soon enough brought her eyes to Willow. She smiled.



Willow was over taken in this moment. This one moment when the world stopped. She felt only one way to keep it going.



Willow took a step forward and kneeled in front of Tara. She reached her hands up to cup Tara’s cheeks and brought her face closer to Tara’s. She lightly pushed her lips to Tara’s. As she pulled back she noted that Tara’s eyes were shut and she didn’t pull back at all. Willow pushed herself back into the kiss this time a little more forceful. She pulled back, then reapplied the force. She continued to do that a few times before she felt Tara start to push herself into the kiss. Taking this as a good sign Willow opened her mouth a little and began tracing the outline of Tara’s lips with her tounge. She felt Tara’s lips slowly part as she thrust her toungue inside the blonde’s mouth. The kiss was gentle and sincere. There were no alterior motives, just the two of them. Nothing else mattered.

After a few minutes of gentle kisses and hesistant deep breaths. They both pulled back. Both of their eyelids were heavy and they both had huge smiles on their faces.



“That was. Wow.” Willow said.



Tara said nothing, but yet again pulled the redhead in for a gentle kiss.



“Mmm. You should go.” Tara said quietly. Her hands still on Willow’s cheeks, her thumbs brushing Willow’s cheekbones.



“I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to…”



Willow was cut off by Tara’s lips on her own.



“Its nothing like that Will. But its getting late. And you haven’t even met your roommate yet.”



“That’s a good call. But can I get your number before I go?”



Tara smiled and pulled Willow in for a quick peck. She pulled back and stood. Scribbled her number down on a piece of paper and handed it to Willow.



“Here you go.” She said smiling.



Willow headed towards the door with Tara right behind her. Tara rushed a little bit faster and she opened the door for Willow. They both gave eachother the sweeest smiles.



“I’ll call you in the morning. Maybe we can get breakfast?”



Tara nodded. She gave Willow a brief kiss and said goodbye. As she shut the door she leaned up against it and let out a quiet squeal as she jumped on her bed with a huge smile on her face.

Willow reached her room, a skip in her step and a huge smile plastered on her face. She unlocked her door and headed inside. But stopped in midstep.



“Oh god.”



“Welcome home.” Her roommate said sarcastically.
