Authors Note: Sorry if this sucks… I haven’t written anything at all for ages and just felt compelled to put it out there (so to speak). Sorry also to anyone if I have inadvertently used your fics as inspiration… if it means anything the fact the they are still in my mind probably means that they are pretty good

"We did wonder where you had gotten to?" Giles mused as Willow and Tara finally arrived. "You have already missed the meeting though."



"So are you going to tell us where you have been all morning?" asked Xander in an expectant tone.



"Um… um… I… I slept in…" Willow lied glancing knowingly at Tara.



"Look Red, we don’t really care what you two get up to." said Faith sullenly.



"Ignore her, it would appear that Faith didn’t get a very good nights sleep." Buffy interjected trying to warm the somewhat icy atmosphere that had washed over the room.



"What tough ol’ Faith had a bad dream… want to talk about it?" Willow chided resting her hand on Faith’s shoulder.



Willow leaned forward to kiss Tara’s exposed nipples and gently layed her head upon the softly heaving breast.



"No!" Faith jumped away from Willows touch as if she had been burnt.



I have to keep that thought out of my head, no more thoughts of Willow and Tara. Think happy thoughts, think… think of… Buffy. What the hell is Buffy doing in there? Buffy in a white shirt… in a wet white shirt… with no bra…Oh… hard nipples rising out of the shirt…



"Faith! Are you still with us?" Buffy’s voice cut harshly into the thoughts. "Um, yeah… gotta go." and with that Faith went white and turning on her heel walked hurriedly out.



With an exhausted sigh Buffy rose from her seat. "I should go and check she doesn’t take her bad mood out on the general public." she remarked before jogging off to catch up with Faith’s disappearing figure.



"Looks like the meeting is over then," Willow commented looking happily at Tara. "Shall we go and get me some food? Xander, Giles want to join us?"



"We have already eaten. You two run along now." Giles replied, answering for himself and Xander, who looked somewhat crestfallen.

Really good so far!!



Faith, always getting angry and quiet rather than try to deal with repressed emotions. But the W/T issue seems to be bringing those emotions to light for her.



Nice to see Willow admit her feelings, even when she feared rejection. Sometimes that is the only way to see if someone might feel the same.

"So lets see what you brought." demanded Tara, motioning towards the supermarket bag that Willow had placed on the kitchen bench.



"Oh, why do I have to go first…" Willow whined, pouting and making sad puppy dog eyes at Tara. "I wanted to know what you brought."



"No matter how cute you look when you make that face…" began Tara pausing to kiss Willow’s down turned mouth, and moving closer in order to put her arms around the red head’s waist. "It is an undeniable fact the dinner comes before dessert. You chose to buy the things for dinner so you have to go first." she continued smiling lovingly at the red head and giving her a brief gently squeeze.



"I still don’t think the game was fair," Willow began again twisting around in Tara’s arms to look at her. "My name has stupid letters in it." she pouted again, making the blonde laugh.



"Sure it was fair. You had to buy things for dinner using the first and last letters of your names, and I had to buy dessert using the first and last letters of my names." Tara laughed again. "In case you don’t know your letters were; W, W, R and G. So what did you get?"



"Ok, I got…." Willow tapped her index fingers on the bench in a mock drum role. "Water Crackers, Wensleydale Cheese, Roast Chicken, and Garlic Bread."



"Yum… sounds good." Tara licked her lips seductively and freeing her hands from Willows waist. " And for dessert we have…" she paused briefly for effect. "Toffees, Apple Tea Cake, Marshmallows, and Yoghurt."



"Marshmallows…" Willows eyes lit up and she made a grab for the bag that Tara now held in her hand. Tara dropped the marshmallows and caught Willows outstretched hand, holding it lovingly in her own.



"No… bad Willow. You have to eat your dinner first." Tara shook her finger at Willow, trying not to laugh as she pretended to scold. "Speaking of which I am starving. Shall we heat up the chicken and garlic bread?"



"You just relax, I’ll put them in the oven." Willow replied as she searched in vain for reheating instructions on the chicken.



"You know for someone who is really smart you can be very silly sometimes" laughed Tara, pointing out the instructions on the back of the packet.



"I knew they were there. I just wanted to see what state the chicken came from before I ate it. You just stay over there out of my way." retorted a now blushing Willow.



Laughing slightly Tara hoisted herself onto the bench and sat there absently swinging her legs and watching Willow. Wow, a whole night alone with Willow! I must be the luckiest person in the whole world right now. I can’t wait to cuddle up next to her in bed… cuddle is that all I want to do? She smiled. Mm, Willow cuddles, and Willow kisses and Willow everything.



Having finally managed to put the chicken and garlic bread in the oven and set the timer correctly Willow wandered back across the kitchen and stood in front of Tara. She reached out and wrapped her arms around the blonde’s waist, interrupting her thoughts. Tara moved her legs slightly allowing Willow to stand closer to her, then gripped her gently with her knees. Willow smiled and bent her head forward resting it on Tara’s chest, she tightened her grip on the blonde and snuggled into her warm front. Wrapping her arms around Willow’s shoulders and holding her gently, Tara then leaned her head forward and buried her face in Willow’s shiny red hair. The red head murmured slightly nestling closer to Tara’s body.



Soft, warm Tara cuddles. I wonder if she will let me sleep this close to her tonight? She is so warm and she smells good. I bet she doesn’t even know she smells or feels this good. I bet she doesn’t even know how beautiful she is. I could stay like this forever… well not forever because my feet would get sore, but for a very long time. Mm, I like Tara cuddles… I wonder if she will still want to cuddle me when we are old? When we are old? Hey hang on Willow… you’re not expecting this to last… well you know you will always love her. But will she always love you… OH stop it, stop being negative… just concentrate on now. Mm… Tara cuddles. Mm.



Neither girl moved for fear of ruining their loving embrace. The whirring timer on the oven droned softly in the background as both Willow and Tara lost themselves in thought. When the timer finally finished Tara gently kissed Willow on the head and slowly unwrapped her arms from the red heads shoulders. Willow moved backwards slightly and inclined her head towards Tara’s, searching for her mouth. She found it and delicately kissed the blonde’s parted lips. Tara smiled and reached for Willow’s head, drawing her closer again, before lightly flicking her mouth over Willow’s.



"You had better check if dinner is ready yet." she murmured. "We wouldn’t want to burn the house down by accident. I don’t think your parents would let me stay again after that." Willow smiled and with a parting kiss turned and crossed the kitchen.

JennY thanks for the encouragement, i certainly try to keep it updated it just depends on when inspiration hits me (usually at 1 or 2am... or when i should be doing something else) as for the Tara snuggles... i would love to be able to send you some... (how about an emoticon instead )

EzCode Parsing Error: size=1]This is a Lesson for those Kittens who haven't had the delight of eating Smores.



This is what you will need:

A place to toast Marshmallows. Large Sized Marshmallows, Graham Crackers (Plain or Flavored), One Hershey's Milk Chocolate Bar per 2 Smores, And a Good friend or a lover or just loved one (Cuz it's always better when you share with someone you love.)

How to Make:

Take a Graham Cracker and break into two even squares (you'll need a top and a bottom) Break your Hershey's bar into two piece's (Break right in the center) Now place the chocolate on the cracker Now you want to toast your marshmallow Once you have it toasted to your liking place it

on top of your cracker & Chocolate, then put the other cracker on top. Smush together and Enjoy!! It may be messy but that is part of the fun!!
