Ok here it is the part u have been waiting for, now its not as good as it could be but i have been writing it inbetween writing a english lit essay and and philosphy essay so i am quite proud of it!
Title-The first step (at the moment it’s a working progress as you’ll see!)
Author- Willow Rocks
Distribution- If you want it you can take it just e-mail me first (though I’m not really sure anyone will want it!)
Rating- I can’t see it going beyond a PG-13
Feedback- Yes please, my ego needs feeding
Note- This will more than likely be the worst bit of fan fic you’ll ever read but give it a chance and remember it was wrote by a stressed out 16 year old girl who wrote it to take a break from college. Also the first and quite possibly the last piece of fic I have ever written well should say posted.
Part- 10/?
Timeline- Set in my own timeline somewhere in season 4, Buffy and Riley are already courting (as my mother would say!) and Willow has already met Tara at the Wicca group, but does not know that Tara is also a real witch.
Part 10
Willow and Gillian walked into the room where the lesbian alliance meeting was to take place. Taking a deep breath Willow looked around for two seats for her and Gillian to sit, she scanned the room and took in all the laughter and conversation going on around her, wishing Tara was there to share it with her. Willow spotted two seats in the far corner next to a pretty brunette and a blonde with her back to them. “Come on I see two seats” Willow said walking in the direction of the seats, amazed at how quickly the seats around the room where filling and how many people were still walking through the door.
“So see anybody yet, to take your mind of what’s her name?” Gillian spoke with a nervous laugh as she was planning to ask Willow out after the meeting.
“Her name’s Tara and no. I’m not even sure I can get over her.”
“Oh” Gillian said sitting in the seat next to the brunette her face loosing it’s smile it had worn a moment earlier.
Willow sat down between Gillian and the blondes who’s face was still turned away. Willow looked at Gillian and noticed the change in her face, she now wore the look Tara had been wearing that night at the coffee shop causing Willow to turn and look the other way, towards the blonde.
Tara had arrived at the lesbian alliance meeting some time before and was at the moment staring into space in a daydream starring Willow. She suddenly felt someone looking at her, she didn’t want to turn around yet nor did she want someone staring at her back, so she slowly turned around.
“What are you doing here?” both Willow and Tara whispered amazed at the other ones appearance at the place they both thought was the least likely place to bump into each other.
“I mean hey.” Willow smiled she could hear her heart beating faster and louder than it ever had.
“Hey” Tara smiled back looking into Willows green eyes.
“Not to sound rude or anything but why are you here, not that you shouldn’t be here, it’s just I never thought you’d come somewhere like here.” Willow spoke fast, thought never breaking eye contact with the girl who had filled her mind constantly for the past weeks.
“Wwwwhhat am I doing here?” Tara asked confused scolding herself that her stutter had crept into the conversation “What are you doing here?”
Willow winced at the sound of Tara’s stutter. “Well I am a lesbian so why shouldn’t I be here. I think the question is why is Miss Straight herself you doing here?” Willow spoke slightly more aggressive than she had intended.
“Since when have I been Miss Straight and you Miss Lesbian?” Tara shot back, her stutter once again pushed away.
“What’s that supposed to mean?”
“Well considering I am a lesbian, always have and always will be, I will not be called Miss Straight! And since when have you been playing on my side?”
“Since I met you!” Willow whispered wearing her heart on her sleeve.
Tara was lost for words.
“What about Joe?” Willow asked confused.
“What about Jo?” Tara looked at Willow confusing echoing on both of their faces.
“Your ex-boyfriend Joe?” Willow whispered.
“My what!” Tara gasped out.
“Joe, remember you told me about him the other day”
“Well I can remember talking about my ex-girlfriend Jo, short for Joanne!” Tara stressed the Joanne hoping Willow understood.
“Oh you mean…..” but Willow never even finished the sentence as Tara leant forward and in a move that shocked not only Willow and a Gillian who had been watching the whole thing but Tara too, Tara left a small kiss on Willows lips.
“Was that alright?” Tara whispered looking at hands while turning a deep shade of red.
Willow smiled and took a hold of Tara’s chin, bringing their lips closer together, Willow leant in and kissed Tara, the kiss lasted only about 10 seconds but in those 10 seconds they both knew that they’d found there soul mate. “It was more than alright.” Willow whispered their foreheads leaning together.
“I know you came for a meeting but how do you feel about skipping and coming back to mine, to talk?” Tara asked knowing Willows answer already.
Willow turned towards Gillian. “Just go and have fun.” Gillian said smiling ok she may not be getting her Willow kisses that she wanted but she’d be damned if she deprived them off someone else.
Willow and Tara stood up hand in hand, Willow turned and said “Thank you” to Gillian before they headed out of the room towards Tara’s dorm room.
Ok so the next part will be Buffy coming over to have a little chat with tara and it should be up with in the next day or so
