Authors Note- well I don’t really have one this time so blah blah, oh yeah I proof read myself so sorry for any errors.
“Sorry I don’t think that I heard you correctly young lady” Tara’s father had crossed the comfortable space between them and was glaring down at her.
She jutted out her chin and replied again, “I’m not coming”.

Willow was walking through the middle of town aimlessly, she didn’t quite know what to do with herself. Still confused about the other girls response, the only thing that she could think of doing was going back to the bar to see if Tara was there.
Buffy was sitting at the window seat of a very classy restaurant, watching the people walk down the street. Ken had buggered off to the toilets to re-quiff his hair. Buffy noticed a petit redhead wandering down the street which bared a slight resemblance to the girl that she had left all alone in the hotel room earlier.
She ran out of the restaurant shouting at the top of her voice. “WILLOW! Hey Will, what are you doing out here?” she caught up with the redhead and placed her hand on her shoulder. When Willow turned round, Buffy realised that she wasn’t very happy. Willow’s eyes were red and puffy and she fell into Buffy’s arms with a fresh wave of tears.
“Tara, and then she left me Buffy again, just like Oz. I don’t know what to do, I love her Buffy” Willow was babbling into Buffy’s shoulder, am event that Buffy had grown used to since Oz left and was very good at decoding Willow babble, but this time she was left completely baffled.
The Slayer pulled Willow out and held her by the shoulders at arms length. “Huh?” was about as much as she could muster. “Hey Will, fancy running that past me again” Buffy’s eyebrows had now just about reached her hairline.
“There’s not enough time, I need to get her back now Buffy. I wont lose another one, she cant go, not now I only just found her.” Willow broke free from Buffy’s strong hold and began to run down the street towards the bar. Buffy was caught between waiting for Ken to return from his trip to the bathroom or follow her hysterical love sick friend.
She went back in the restaurant and left one or her pre-written call cards on the table. She picked up her coat and legged it out of the restaurant. She chased Willow down the street, hoping that she would catch an explanation of what the hell was going on from the redhead on the way.
“Willow what’s going on, who the hell is Tara?” she stopped the redhead running by pulling her back from the back of her top.
Willow turned to see the Slayer, “Buffy there’s a lot of things that i need to tell you, just now isn’t the best time. I need you as a friend though, so please just take my word on this one, I'll explain everything to you later.” Willow was about to continue running when she felt a warm hand on her own.
“Whatever you need Will. I’m your best friend. So where are we going?” Buffy was completely honest with her understanding of Willow’s problems. The redhead had always been there for her in times of crisis with Angel, it was now her turn to be moral and possibly physical support in the thick of it.
“Thanks Buffy” the redhead let out her first proper smile of the evening. “Were going to the bar, that I met the new love of my life at”.
“I’m guessing that would be Tara.” Buffy didn’t sat anything, she knew that she would support her best friend in anything and now probably wasn’t the best time to be asking questions. She would make sure that she had a heart to heart with Willow later on. Willow turned and began jogging to the bar, closely followed by Buffy.

“I think that you should seriously consider taking that remark back and I may go lightly on you”. Tara’s father was now standing as close as he could to the chair that Tara was sitting on. The intimidated blondes head had fallen down so that her face was hidden behind her hair. She didn’t want her father to see her face, because the tears were threatening to fall and her father would know what he had weakened her.
“Please don't do this” Tara’s voice was pleading for mercy, she just wished that this once her father would back down, she didn’t even care if she never saw him again. She just wanted to be with Willow, previously she had been so scared of not having her father’s support, because without him she had nothing. She hated the way that he treated her, but he was her only source of support; if you could even call it that.
“Give me one reason why I shouldn’t?” Tara’s father was about to grab his daughters hair when we was stopped by an unwanted presence.
“because I’m in love with her” Willow had the firmest resolve face, and was drilling holes into Tara’s father with her eyes.
